Welcome Readyforbed. You definitely picked a wild night to join the thread.

Captain I've got my laptop in my lap playing some iTunes muzic. It's not a little radio but maybe the baby will turn anyway. Plus it'll be harder to "loose" the laptop, ahem, you know where. Just some Usher, Justin Timberlake, Prince, Janet Jackson, Fergie, Flo Rida and a number of others. Surely that will get the kid up and moving!!! Spin around butt up, head down...shake it baby!! LOL I make myself laugh.

Dizzy too much of that tingly cream may make your DH jealous. Better rub a little on him too.

Buckets my DH was quite interested in your pool story.

VG sorry you arrived late...there'll be more crazy banter later on. I'M POSITIVE!!

Sazzles what's up with LaJolie. Did she get upset with you accepting Brad's sausage??? She's saying you're story is bogus. OH THE DRAMA!!

Seems the music is working...baby's dancing. Now if she'll just go ahead and FLIP OVER.

ts, you still up? i've got a case of insomnia - 4th night running

TwilightSurfer · 31/05/2008 02:37

Yes. Still up for a little while longer. How's it going?...aside from the sleeplessness.

OP posts:
warthog · 31/05/2008 02:42

are you in the states?

ok here. a little sore, uncomfortable when i lie down. how about you?

TwilightSurfer · 31/05/2008 02:47

USA Baby!!! Yes.

I'm feeling huge. Gained 4 pounds in last 4 days so I'm REALLY sore. There's no good position to be in as the baby is breech. Doing everything to get her to turn. Only 11 weeks to go so I NEED her to turn soon. I don't want a Csec.

TwilightSurfer · 31/05/2008 02:52

I'm signing off Warthog. Hope you find some rest soon.

TS your finest thread title to date I beleive - well done lady!

have heard that swimming is a great way to get breech babies to turn - into the pool with you lady and no coming out till she's rightway up

terrible terrible night with dd2, am almost convinced she's starting to get night terrors - dd1 had them from about 2yrs on, I may cry if it is - horrible horrible things for all involved

dh came home from work about 2.30, she shouted once more after that and then not a peep, needless to say that means I got 5hrs sleep and am starting work at 3pm, he's still sleeping and not starting till 6pm having had a lie in yesterday something not right there

can't even ignorekids nap on couch as have to take god for her summer bath/trim at 9am - only myself to blame as I booked it too

lovely and sunny though so once back from that will dump encourage kids to play outside while I take up residence on couch

happy Saturday to you all

dizzydixies · 31/05/2008 07:53

warthog listen to me yabbering on about being up and down like a yoyo when you've got insomnia - sorry

sazzles did you not pack your shotgun?!? I find them to be very handy for random acts of mother nature/wildlife when on holiday hope you get a nap in a sunbeam later to make up for it

miamla · 31/05/2008 09:46

Morning all, I'm pretending to still be asleep to get a couple of mins on my own with pip before demolition derby starts here! Blackberry's are a wonderful invention!
I really did miss out on some fun here last night!
dd I think I know what you mean about the strange swallowing feeling, I'm getting the same thing.really hard to describe it though, kind of like a stuck burp.
Update from me for those trying to catch up
We've moved into our lovely house and had almost everything unpacked on 3rd day!
I've ordered my pushchair and carrycot. I've changed the delivery address so now its going straight to my mum's and nowhere near our house.
Work at the moment is crazy busy but I've only got 4 weeks left
And yes, I have indeed got my hospital bags all packed.

Has anyone got a gym ball? I blew mine up last weekend and it is soooo comfy to sit on. Doesn't sound as good as tingly leg cream but I def recommend them

I guess I'd better get up. See you all later

cyteen · 31/05/2008 10:04

Morning ladies!

You'll be pleased to hear I am feeling much more positive today...those pregnancy hormones can really be a bitch, can't they? Things get so magnified. Also, I think I might have been a bit over-tired yesterday which didn't help; I fell asleep on DP at about 7.30pm and woke up feeling most odd. However, have had a great night's sleep and am MNing from bed with the cats slobbed out all over me I love Saturday mornings.

Anyway, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all for your kind words, they did help and I feel quite lucky to be in the antenatal boat with such lovely caring ladies Plus, I followed last night's antics despite not posting and had many laughs so well done girls

miamla I'm so impressed with your organisation - we've been here two weeks now and still it's boxes galore. Need to make a proper start on sorting things out or this baby will be born into a storeroom Re. gym balls/birth balls, I'm definitely ordering one after trying them out at the NCT classes last weekend. They are so comfy aren't they! And all our living room furniture seems designed to tip the pelvis back, so I need something I can assume the proper position on...want to encourage the boy to turn head down, after all.

I bumped into a friend yesterday afternoon who is due in 3 weeks, so had a lovely chat and cup of tea with her. She looks great but is VERY keen for her little girl to arrive now Am much looking forward to getting in lots of lovely newborn cuddles in a few weeks' time. Also had a chat to her about prams - she told me a good place in Leicester to go, and recommended the M+P Pliko Pramette which is what they've bought, so at least we're making progress towards finding the right one.

Hope you're all having a fab Saturday and dizzy, why are you taking god for her summer bath/trim?

oopsacoconut · 31/05/2008 10:28

Great new title TS.

Can anyone remind me if there is/was a hospital bag list anywhere on here??? Am suddenly thinking that i might need to think of these sort of things. Esp. as I had 6 hours of BH last night!!!Phoned mw who said don't worry just irritable uterus if they get worse ring her again. Now they seem to have dissapeared phew .

Cyteen - glad you are feeling better today.

Dizzy - I knew you were a busy person but organising god's haircuts is just bragging!!

Have a good saturday everyone - off for 4d scan at 3 and going to get them to check that Poppy is definitely Poppy and not Noah as DH keep suggesting!

cyteen · 31/05/2008 10:32

oops, I found a couple of good hospital bag threads over in Pregnancy Enjoy your scan, hope the LO cooperates!

miamla · 31/05/2008 11:28

cyteen it was a case of us living with many many boxes in a tiny flat for what seemed like months so as soon as we got here we were determined to change the scenery! I had a team of people helping so wasn't just me and dp.
I didn't post a specific message to you yday because I thought the others had voiced what I would have written, just a lot more eloquently.you're right, hormones really do magnify everything, esp when tired. Dp and I are getting better at spotting that a hormone tornado is on its way but we have missed a couple.I'm so pleased that you're feeling more at calm with things today. And you know what, crying isn't a bad thing..how else would your tear ducts get cleaned otherwise!

Oh and to the cat owners out there, I'm very bravely letting my furry monster roam on his own today. He hasn't been out of sight for more than a few minutes yet and I'm doing my best not to worry about him! Dear goodness, what am I going to be like when Pip has his first day at school?!!

dizzydixies · 31/05/2008 11:39

PMSL - that has to be the best typo to date no?

hollie doggie was dropped off at 9am for her trim bless her, I hate leaving her in there - she is a collie/cocker cross and can do the HUGE pleading RSPCA eyes so well she could win an olympic medal anyway, nice lade which is why we go there and getting rid of all that hair will make her feel like a pup again - picking her up in half house and its a lovely hot sunny day so am hoping she'll have forgiven me

miamla well done you! we're in here 6yrs now and I still don't feel organised what kind of pram did you go for? well done on sending it to mum's though

dh just rolled his eyes at me when I told him am practically forcing everyone to have their prams sent elsewhere - am obviously a freak

miamla am showing off by having tingly cream AND a gym ball - well more like a gym egg after I've been sitting on it but I agree tis FAB have used it both times towards the end as its the only way I could get relief from sore pelvis - will have to get dh to get it blown up soon

oops 6 hours well its good practice at least!! all the stuff I've bought so far is still sitting in a poly bag at top of stairs - thats how organised I am

oops Noah is nice too! enjoy your scan and hope your uterus plays nice today!

right, tis a scorching day, dd1 is all conjested, dd2 napping and dh in a grump as I've been nipping his head - ah the joys

cannot believe I have to go to work at 3pm and deal with a pile of wanky people who are all very stupid demanding - not least the shift bitch who is back in full force apparently

sigh - only 8 shifts to go, only 8 shifts to go, only 8 shifts to go

dizzydixies · 31/05/2008 11:42

oh FFS if I can't even manage a legible post on here how am I going to manage at work [sigh]

Hollie (doggie) is being trimmed by a nice LADY and will be collected in half an HOUR!!!

dizzydixies · 31/05/2008 12:12

my wee dog is BALD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wee soul

TwilightSurfer · 31/05/2008 14:46

Morning.

Appologies in advance....
I feel like I've been run over and left on the side of the road. Every muscle from neck to ankle aches. Could this be a result of a massive growth spurt...I have gained 4lbs in 4days. Maybe I gained another few last night. Up at 2am making food. Up at 5am making food. DH went out and brought me McDonalds pancakes at 7am. It's like I can't get enough but on the flip side I can't eat alot at one time. How twisted is that!? DB is due to arrive at some point soon with his brood (3DCs) AND MY SIL. GOD HELP ME!! DH is on the golf course til 1PM. I'm staying in bed as long as possible, and don't even plan to shower before DB arrives (it is only my brother afterall...he's seen me in worser states). Just wanted to get all this down in print for the sake of the thread.....figured SOMEBODY else might feel like death too and was keeping it to themselves. Now it's out there so know there's no shame is it.

Glad you like the thread title. I wanted to include something about pool nookie but couldn't come up with a "polite" version.

Miamla, it took me over a year to be relax about my boys running around freely. DH thinks I'm CRAZY. It will get easier but they are really no different than babies to me. Give it time.

Dizzy don't give Sazzles any ideas. Guns should not be handled by pregnant ladies. We're a bit too unstable.

OP posts:
warthog · 31/05/2008 15:25

hello!

TS i also feel like a dog turd. did eventually get to sleep at around 4:30 and dh let me sleep in til 9 so not too bad.

we're having our house renovated (will be finished a month after dd2's born, and to think - we bought it 2 years ago!) so i have to choose all the paint colours by next week! have been traipsing around curtain shops all morning. a lot of decisions made so feeling pretty good.

miamla (all this organised bold print is freaking me out) how did your move go, because you were feeling quite emotional about it beforehand? are you happy to be in your house? missing your old flat?

Buckets · 31/05/2008 16:08

Just a quickie to get you on my Threads I'm On list. Working on a new bump pic from last night (one bonus to being sober is you don't look quite so bedraggled after a night out.)

TwilightSurfer · 31/05/2008 16:47

Buckets nice bump shot.

Warthog when your done could you pick out a color for my DDs room too? She wants pink but I just can't find a "pink" that I like.

One major task completed today. I made it to the grocery store. I now have food in my house....plenty of food.

Sunshine is out so hopefully my mood and overall physical yuk will dry up. I'll keep you posted.

Can't remember who asked but pram I went for is the mama and papa luna in cress with the carrycot. Its beautiful and I can't wait until it arrives at my mum's (for dizzy's sake!)

warthog I was doing really well moving out,van was all packed,I had a last look, held back tears and left with a smile whilst feeling v proud. Arrived at new house, found and read a card that the previous owner left for us and started crying!she wrote us such a beautiful message. Hey ho!
