Carey you can take the EPO with RL tablets also I have found that it is better to stimular the nipples by hand I did it for an hour the other night in hospital (its ok I had a private room because of the D&V) and started getting really strong contractions but they stopped as soon as I stopped! my nipples were then sore so thought best to give up I also tried with the breast pump at home for a hour last week and all that did was give me a blister on one nipple although that has now gone so hopfully I have harded them up for the real thing

VS you're so lucky - DS sounds like a great baby. I'm SO hoping for one like that. It sounds like you've bonded really well too which is great.

I haven't really been trying anything special to get this baby to come and I'm worried that at some point I'll regret that! I just can't get my head around the nipple stimulation thing - it sounds like such a great idea (and you don't have to go and buy anything) but for whatever reason I'm really put off by it. It probably relates to my issues with breastfeeding etc too.

NEM, I tried everything remember and DS still went a week over my due date, goodness knows how long he'd have gone left to his own devices.

He was just too comfy in there, do you think theres any truth in the late babies being happier babies? DD1 - early - screamer, DS - late - v laid back, DD2 - early - so far screamer.

I think the only thing I enjoyed at the end of pregnancy was the kicks so def not missing it, nice to bend again. Wont be any more for us unless DH snip fails

I bet your all probably thinking im nuts as Ive still got two days till my EDD but the thought of going overdue petrifies me, mainly because I dont want to have to be induced and spend longer than necassary in hospital (I have a major fear of being mistreated or misdiagnosed and them giving me wrong drugs etc..)

CAry your due three days before and I have all ready tried everything to get this one out! you have been having all the warm up sighs so i wouldnt worry to much about going over remember you can go 14 days over before they induce... not that thats a comfort the thought or another 2 week ahhhhhhh

Lots of walking Carey, try and use gravity to help with the descent, no dont think your mad, I only went 1 week overdue with Ds and it drove me crackers, dont blame you for trying anything.

Hmm, not sure DS1 was 39wks but he was ELCS so maybe he wouldve been late?
I've just been listening to massive attack-teardrop, apparently the idea behind it was to sound like the womb (the song is about unplanned pg and abortion) anyway ds has just gone really quiet, I wonder if it reminds him of being in the womb..

I think i just got so upset after having hours of it all last Monday and then it all stopping. Oh well, if it comes it comes and if it doesnt then bugger!

CArey that sounds just like me! I had 10 hours of contractions was on the mobitors they brought in the baby machine thingy then nothing! that was 3 weeks ago!

lol Annieroo, I have been ignoring the phone atm, but did just give poor old dh a scare by doing that! Have my overdue appointment with midwife tomorrow and prob will book in induction date for this weekend (hopefully will not need it, but am trying almost everything and nothing seems to be helping!)

I had a show this morning - all a bit embarrassing actually, woke up thinking hmmm i feel a bit damp, went to loo and (sorry if TMI) lots of liquid and icky blood-tinged stuff everywhere. So I rings hospital who say hmmm come in to get checked just encase your water's have broken, so I go, only to find out that they haven't and I had most probably wee'd myself a bit in the night. SOOOOOOOOO ashamed

But have defo had show, and am getting contractions. They are more painful now, about 20-30 secs long and about 15-20 mins apart. So I am at home. Bit bored and hurty. Have done some cleaning, everything is ready, note left for Mum if she has to look after DSD tonight about school arrangements etc.

Will probably all just stop now. Midwife said am not in labour yet, but 'on the way there' whatever that means.

I'm hoping I don't have to be induced either, have got another appointment on Thursday, so it's just a case of waiting i guess!

I've been trying everything - have burnt my tongue on Pinneapple now though so just sticking to the RLT and may try the Evening primrose oil later.

Ellie, I think I weed meself quite a few times towards the end, during the night, A few times I woke up rather erm moist panicing it may have been my waters.
It's just where baby is moving lower down and rests on your bladder at the same time as faffing up your pelvic floor.

Hi Ladies

Back out of hospital. No baby yet even though when all this started a 34 weeks they said that they would induce me at 37 weeks. But it is my due date tomorrow. At least baby is safe and I am alot calmer now.

I thought I'd started yesterday had pains every 20 mins but they seem to have stopped today. When I was on the baby monitor thing I was having contractions all the time but apparently they were only practice ones but that has to be a good thing at least my body is trying.

They are going to sweep me tomorrow. I will send out labour vibes if you guys all send them my way. I would really like this to happen naturally

Congratualtions on all your babies Im so jealous in a lovely way of course.

Scorpio it only seems like yestersday that we were on the conception pgs bding like mad. Funny how history repeats itself DH does not know what has hit him as we are at it all the time to try and get baby out.

When do you have to go in to hospital with contractions? Mine are perfectly manageable at home for now, but what stage do I need to go in?
