lol pinky; they'll probably be only 24, but look like they've not hit puberty yet

I'm off to road test my lovely new bed.

hope everyone is feeling a bit less sick tomorrow

pinkyminky · 08/04/2008 22:28

Ha! Didn't mean literally born this century! I just meant inhabited this century mentally and not 1970!
Sweet dreams!

Roca · 08/04/2008 22:57

Lola does that mean Junitad has worked out who you are without realising! how funny!

I just want to lie down all day - my boobs feel like they are ready for a baby to latch on already (does that make sense?) - the queasnyness is so hard especially at my day in the office - nothing I eat seems to help it at all.

Oooh - have real sore / stretch / aches in tummy - ayone else?

Yay - we're having babies

pinkyminky · 08/04/2008 23:07

I know, I'm really excited. Can't wait for that new baby smell.
I also feel like I've just missed a breastfeed or something.

Heartmum2Jamie · 08/04/2008 23:33

Roca I have been having sharpish, zingy like pains on my right side today, almost like ovary pain (which I guess it could be). You would think I would remember this, or know what it is being my 3rd, lol!

I too am off to bed, can't stop yawning! Night all.

Was just thinking tonight that I feel quite fragile at the moment (not in terms of size!) - but just like in tiredness and hurting and needed to chill out (typically just as life is soo hectic). Whereas later in pregnancy I know I have felt indestructable and run and rolled and danced around and painted etc - not sure why this time I still feel a little protective - think I'm just bloody tired - my legs have got that 'i need to rest big time' feeling - like when you've been walking round the shops all day.

I'm waffling - goodnight

mummyhill · 09/04/2008 07:18

Morning all. I am also having stretchy aches and am finding it uncomfy if the kids are trying to drag me off to look at something. My back is aching and I am shattered. Sickness is driving me up the wall was deffinatly not as bad with my other two. My boobs also feel quite full but not at the ouch I missed a feed type sensation iyswim.

dozymare · 09/04/2008 08:00

Morning All - Mummyhill I am in exactly the same boat as you......bent over to pick some toys up yesterday and got a pain in my side....also back is killing me......Running around after a 4 and 1 year old is not much fun at the moment either as I am so shattered!! I have to get out of the house for fresh air which is wonderful but exhausting!!! Do you have boys or girls??

Lolabella - do we take it from your last post that you are the psychology teacher from Juanitad's school???? Ho very very spooky if you are!

If you have a Leeds/Yorkshire meet-up, can I come? My parents live in South Yorkshire (although I live quite a way away) so I would have a good excuse to visit them!

Felt really well yesterday - by the afternoon, I almost felt 'normal' again (whatever that is ) and managed a bowl of frosties and some pasta and pesto last night. MS back again this morning though but not too bad.

x

Pinkali37 · 09/04/2008 09:44

Morning All, Wow you lot are busy at night. All these teachers. I'm from East Yorkshire originally (30 minutes from Leeds) but now live in Lincolnshire (near Lincoln), I want to meet up with everyone too.

I have a strange twinge bottom left of stomach. It pulsates. All very strange. Sickness not that bad (until DH presented me with a bowl of porridge with maple syrup on it).

I think it is just starting to hit me that I'm having a baby. BLIMEY. Especially when I went to my mums last night and she presented me with a newborn white cardigan she'd knitted. It was so small. She is doign double of everything as my sister is pregnant too. She is just so excited.

thomasina1 · 09/04/2008 10:10

Hi, not been on for a few days but just had a comment about my dates... I have a 35 day cycle so the songrapher at my early scan said they would correct for it - i.e. subtract 7 days from the usual EDD prediction. Most people ovulate 14 days before their next period apparently. So that made me 6+5. Then the measurements fell within the range for 6+5 so she stuck with that.

Pinkali37 · 09/04/2008 10:12

Ooh forgot to say. Have just opened a copy of the sonographers report from my scan on monday and I have been moved forward a day. I am now 8 weeks 6 days today and due 14th November. All very confusing but like people have said. There's one thing for sure, it will come out when it's ready and not before!

lackaDAISYcal · 09/04/2008 10:20

morning.

I had a fantastic sleep in my new bed last night and woke up after a sound 7 hours with no backache at all, and i could feel my right leg (it's usually numb in the mornings). DD slept through until 7:30 as well, so we all feel fab this morning.

I should be getting on with the housework as I have the mental health nurse coming at 11:30 (they are keeping a close eye on me as I've still got PND ansd stopped my meds when I thought I was pregnant), but MN has sucked me in yet again

I've felt really queasy this morning as well. There was a spider in the hall earlier (not a big one). I squished it and was nearly sick. My DS looked at me very oddly, gagging over a squished up bit of spider . I can't watch any medical stuff either at the moment (same gagging queasiness) and normally I love all the medical dramas.

My boob symptoms are non existent! I'm in the process of winding down BFing DD, so you'd think I'd feel something, but they have been surprisingly OK, just a bit heavy but not tender or sore.

Like the doctorswife, I'm craving salt and vinegar crisps; in fact anything vinegary. the jar of pickled gherkins are looking increasingly appealing every time I open the cupboard.

Creena · 09/04/2008 11:36

Hullo everyone!

I'm absolutely knackered today. MS has really stepped up a gear and has been horrendous this last week or so. I went to see my GP who was great and has signed me off work for a bit. It was just impossible to keep juggling work, looking after DS2, morning sickness and dealing with house viewings. I was on the verge of collapse!! It's helped to be at home but the viewings are taking their toll. We were meant to have one last night so I spent the whole day cleaning the house and making it presentable, in between vomiting and looking after DS2. They didn't turn up in the end. They had a valid reason and are now working out whether they can come to view again on Friday or Saturday, which means I've got to go through the whole thing again. I'm sick of viewings, just sick of them. The viewing last night was meant to be the couple who were supposed to be putting an offer in last week - they've decided they want to do a second viewing first. I can totally understand this, it's a big decision after all, but if they don't put an offer in after all this, I'm going to be seriously gutted.

Right. I'm off to make DS2 some lunch, see if there's anything I can be tempted to eat without feeling sick and then try and sort out my nuchal fold scan.

smilesattheweekend · 09/04/2008 11:51

Hi all - I have had my third scan this morning! All ok, tidgy still there and hb ok - 21mm so am 8+5 now. Was relieved as symptoms had been dissappearing lately. Sonogropher was really nice and said that by now my hormones have probably started to settled down. Will go back in 2 weeks for another appt and scan (still injecting each day with heparin and that is going ok - apart from the bruises!). They say if I have got this far this time, I have a really good chance of going full term!! Yippeeeeeeeeeee

mad4mybaby · 09/04/2008 12:15

afternoon all. So fed up of feeling ok one minute then awful the next. Woke up feeling ok today so went out with ds and felt awful once out. Getting me down now. Makes it worse that it will only get worse as hasnt peaked yet

Creena · 09/04/2008 12:16

Yay! That's excellent news, Smiles! really pleased for you!

Pinkali37 · 09/04/2008 13:01

Hey Smiles, see our levels are settling down hence loss of symptoms. Am so pleased BEAN is was fine. I too am 8 wk5 days today (forward a day since scan on Monday). I feel ok today. Boobs don't hurt and nausea is ok but still haev food aversions. All i want to eat are cheese and tomato sandwiches and we're having a dinner party on saturday which is making me feel yuk. Luckily DH is cooking but i think I will have a sandwich to start and then quite possibly another another as a main.

Fab news Smiles. I wish my levels were settling down - I'm 10+2 today and feeling worse than I did a couple of weeks ago I hope I'm not going to feel like this for too much longer... Serious food aversions too - DH is reduced to cooking and eating on his own in the evenings because I can't face anything.
DM I think feta is OK. I had some the other week. I just googled it and if it's bought in the UK then it's OK apparently.

Pinkali37 · 09/04/2008 13:20

You can't eat cheese that is unpasturised (SP), so Mozerella (SP) Ricotta, Parmasan (Sp) (What's happened to my ability to spell?), and to be fair i'm not sure about feta, but hey i've been eating peanut butter and celerated I was pregnant with big prawns so bugger it.

Pinkali37 · 09/04/2008 13:22

Soft cheeses.

dozymare · 09/04/2008 13:24
