went out and bought two new bras the other day in the next size up but they are v unflattering!, make boobs look really wide apart!
it sounds like its common Hanaflower for the MS to come and go so try not to worry, im having the same really and trying to keep positive. x

Heartmum2Jamie · 07/04/2008 13:10

Divedaisy I am so sorry for your loss, I agree that your words are humbling. I wish you all the best for the future.

Yeah laugh it up everyone- it bloody hurt!
Yeah my bra is getting a tad small also, i've pulled out all my old nursing bras, they look like parachutes.
Try not to worry hanaflower, mine comes and goes. It's the firstthing i think off in the morning "do i feel sick?" there is momentary worry if i don't, but i have been a day recently without feeling poorly, and not feeling too bad today actualy. Am loving toast and honey atm, and really really fresh crusty bread with grated mild cheese yum

Tinkerisdead · 07/04/2008 13:13

ive got the most hideous maternity bras had them since 6 weeks preg as I just couldnt stand it and they really helped to take the weight off. Keep wearing big shorty style white knickers too as comfier and DH just presses his face up to my tummy saying look at the hideous underwear you've got your mother wearing. Poor sod!

I cant stand him touching my boobs and i cant face sex as im so sick and tired. I'd like to think he had fun putting the baby in there in the first place but no doubt it was probably the time during ramseys kitchen nightmares commercial break where i had to hurry him along or I'd miss my programme. Oh the shame!

serendippity · 07/04/2008 13:14

Btw Thedoctorswife, Cherry Hinton is actualy classed as Cambridge, you can walk it in about 20 mins.

Heartmum2Jamie · 07/04/2008 13:30

Yummy to the toast & honey, I am just having that for lunch right this second, lol! It's yummy and the honey is local made, in the hopes of becoming more immune to my allergens before the hayfever season starts properly.

Do not talk to me about boobs. My 2.5yr lod keeps catching them with elbows, head, knees and I am ready to launch him.

I found Marks and Sparks were good for bras. Rather than the maternity range I have gone for the max support without wires as I am quite well endowed anyway and the maternity bras do not seem to offer enough support.

mummyhill · 07/04/2008 13:35

ughh how can you be talking about lunch? Struggled with breakfast this morning and had to stop a couple of times and dodge into the loos at the church, local community centre and a friends house due to the morning sickness. Am considering talking to GP about it as was not this bad with the other 2.

smilesattheweekend · 07/04/2008 13:40

Hanaflower - my ms dissappeared last week too which has unnerved me but still feel very tired etc. Have a scan on Wednesday which will hopefully put mind at ease. Only get queesy now when in the car!

Pinkali - waiting to hear from you - hope all is well. X

bubbaz · 07/04/2008 13:58

Help please!!!!
I woke up durng the night with really bad stomach pains but put it down to haveing been out and eaten more than I normally would.
I still felt a little bit crampy this morning but went to work as normal.
I then found I have a slight browny discharge (Sorry if TMI at lunchtime). I called my midwives who are both off sick and then left a message on Commuinity Miwives answerphone. I had to call back three hours later cause I had had no reponse to be told that I had to contact my GP as they couldn't refer me. I have since then phoned the day assesment unit, the delivery suite my GP (ALL the docs are out) I can't get an appointment today either, Womens outpatients. I have even had the complaints manager and the PALS liason person trying and noone is willing to help me. I have had no fresh bleeding but had a mmc last time and no one belived me then either. Short of going to A&E and refusing to leave I don't know what else to do. My doc is going to call when he gets back - Any advice?
Sorry for long post. Pinkali hope you got good news today x

dozymare · 07/04/2008 14:07

bubbaz........I can see from your post you are panicing and qith good reason, especially being in your position and having MC before. Is there anyway you cxan get yourself to a EPAC??? If so, go explain your past history and your worries and they should scan you. A lot of women suffer from bleeding during PG from a little to a lot but the fact that it is brown rather than bright red is good. However, I understand your concerns and having been there myself think you need to get scanned for your own peace of mind asap. All the best

DM x

smilesattheweekend · 07/04/2008 14:09

Hi bubbaz - I have been in your situation too, and agree with DM - get to your EPAU asap and make them see you!

X

Tinkerisdead · 07/04/2008 14:10

Bubbaz - me personally if i was worried i'd go to a&e if you feel no-one is taking you seriously. Esp if you have concerns from previous MMC.

MrsMattie · 07/04/2008 14:21

Urgghhhhh morning sickness has kicked in big time

mad4mybaby · 07/04/2008 14:27

yes id also go a&e if i was worried bubbaz. Also how many weeks are you? Because apparantly you can get a slight bleed around when your period would be due.. Not talking from experience, just what ive read. You should still get your self checked out asap though

bubbaz · 07/04/2008 14:32

Thanks for the support everyone, I'm 9 weeks at the moment.
My GP should be in touch in about half an hour so I will see if I get any further from them. If not I will be going to A&E to kick off.

Pinkali37 · 07/04/2008 14:41

HI All,

SCAN WAS FINE.... I am so relieved and I am now going to write a book about what not to believe and how not to worry when symptoms come and go. Baby had a healthy heartbeat and measured 20mm. He has now officially moved from being a PEA to a BROAD BEAN.

Bubbaz - honestly, do not panic about symptoms coming and going. I was told today that my levels are balancing and that is why my symptoms may be coming and going.

I am so relieved I can talk baby again now. xxx

p.s. thank you all for your kind thoughts.

dozymare · 07/04/2008 14:51

Pinkali - Fantastic news!!!!!!! How many weeks does that make you now??!

DM x

bubbaz · 07/04/2008 14:52

Great news Pinkali, See midwives should just keep quiet at times xx

Tinkerisdead · 07/04/2008 14:55

ohhh pinkali thats brilliant news. i cant wait for my scan. no date yet, just my NT scan on the 3rd of may which is forrreeeevver away!

bubbaz - let us know how you get on x

Mrsmattie - its rubbish aint it, come on here to moan and vent. I feel so bad and mine gets progressively worse through the day not better. Although yesterday was the first time i was actually properly sick. I cant believe that it says most people find it wears off at 14-16 weeks! I cant wait that long. Im torn as eating crisps etc stops me feeling sick but im wracked with guilt that my bean isnt getting any nutrients and that im gonna end up a whale!

bubbaz · 07/04/2008 15:12

Hi again, The doctor has just phoned back and he has referred me to the EPAU for a scan at 10.40 in the morning. Thanks for your help everyone.xx

Emmanj · 07/04/2008 15:22

great news pinkali, really pleased for you.
Bubbaz - its good they are now taking you seriously, its going to be a long night for you, will be thinking of you xx
