Sorry on my phone and it only lets me put tiny msgs on at one time! Ive got to go for a blood test today to see if im far enough gone to do a scan. They want to check for ectopic coz of the pains im getting. Im scared...i so dont want to lose this bean.

BSS hun I didn't realise you were having pains, all the best for blood test and I hope they can do a scan and see a wee beany snuggling in, hopefully that is what is causing you pain. {{{{{big hugs}}}}}

Thanks guys. Got blood test at 11 will get results tonight to tell me if i can have scan tommorrow or if i have to wait a few days. She said coz its so early they dont just want to do a scan incase they cant see anything then it'll be more worry.

nandos no advice I'm afraid. I think however you tell her it's obviously going to upset her a little, I would do as brightshinysun says and tell her on the phone. Then give her some time and space to come to terms with it.

How's everyone else doing? I'm not too bad, had a little bit of dizziness today and feeling a bit spaced out!

I felt a bit dizzy yesterday too but other than that, disappointingly normal! Almost wishing for nausea just to prove that I'm really pg. I don't even have sore (.)(.) which I usually get when my period is due.

nandos I agree that you should tell your friend over the phone so that she can hide her true reaction. Also, if you had fallen PG after 1 month I imagine she'd be really upset but you have been trying for a long time too so I'm sure she'll be pleased for you too.

pixsix IKWYM about being disappointed not feeling much different ! I keep willing some dramatic symptom to take hold so that it feels more real. I did yet another HPT this morning 'just to check' and the line appeared really quickly ! Had GP appt today so have my booking appt with MW next week. It felt wierd saying it out loud "I am PG !!!"

mibbes today was the first day I didn't do a test since my bfp! I'm going to the doc tomorrow too. Fingers crossed we'll both get some symptoms soon

btw went to clinic today and the doc made an appt for me to see the midwife at 11 weeks! thats 5 weeks away from now. is there any way i can speed up the appt? i cant wait for my 1st ultrasound

nandos I have to wait until week 12-14 for my first scan, that feels like forever away right now. Next week I just get bloods taken by MW and loads of questions about family history etc..yaaaawwnn let me see my beany !!

Hello please can I join? Not entirely sure when due date is - might be end November rather than December but I only got BFP on Friday so feel I fit in on this thread! Is my first so very excited and frustrated with not being able to tell anyone and with having to wait so long for anything to happen! Have first doctor's appointment next week but that is only for 10 mins so guess he will just say to come back in a few weeks. Complete lack of symptoms too so finding it quite difficult to believe anything is going on...

Hello badkitty..lol cute name and congrats on the BFP last week. Even my doc said my EDD is end Nov but she didnt put into consideration that my cycle day is 31 instead of 28 ..
i guess there is not much symptoms at this stage and i rather not have the nausea coming so soon, its really nasty . so far only sore bbs and eating slightly more.

mibbes- i didnt know yours is even longer! i think thats partly the reason why im addicted to mumsnet right now!

Am also totally addicted to Mumsnet - does that count as a symptom do you think?

Hi, will have to see what doctor says re due date - am hopeless at remembering when I had last period! This is the first time I have even been so keen to get to a doctor's appointment - somehow feel that will make it real even though he will just tell me to go away and come back in a few weeks I expect! Glad I am not the only first timer around.

I think December will be a lovely month to have a baby - just in time for Christmas

you sound like me badkitty (and I love your name), after being asked a few times for my lmp, I had a mental flash and realised that I might not even be giving the right date. I know it was a friday... but I'm not sure which one.

Anyway, I guess I'll wait for the scan, though I do hope this is a December baby, I like this thread.
