Hiya LMD,

I had spotting with both my previous pregnancies at about 6 weeks and I was fine both times.

Im due 25th December too, can I ask what date your LMP was?

littlemissdaisy · 21/04/2008 16:10

Hiya, LMP was 20/03/2008

southernbelle77 · 21/04/2008 16:41

Sorry to hear your news littleprincess.

I've booked the doctors for Thursday. Going to see if they can give me something for my awful neck rash thing as it's hurting now too. Will also ask if they can do a blood test or something to check levels after having a very early miscarriage or chemical pregnancy in Feb. Does anyone know if they will do that for me?

AllieBongo · 21/04/2008 17:02

not been sick today thank god. thinking of you princess

MrsMattie · 21/04/2008 17:08

Afternon all

Not vomited today but had zero energy and bad nausea. DS is down with a cold today, so we've both been lying on the sofa watching cartoons

little princess - I'm so very sorry to hear your news. Please look after yourself and let us know how you get along x

kutilputil - in answer to your questions earlier on -
I went to my GP to see if there was anything that could be done about the constant nausea and vomiting. She took a urine sample and said she wanted to rule out gestational diabetes, as some of my other symptoms (feeling faint, pressure headaches, desire to urinate frequently but not passing much urine) pointed towards it. I had urine tests and blood tests at A&E and saw a gynaecologist there. All tests came back OK. Diagnosed with 'hyperemesis' (=severe sickness in pregnancy) which apparently less than 1 % of pregnant women have. Great! I'm so lucky!

If you are unable to keep much food or liquid down at all you should see your GP. Dehydration can be quite serious in pregnancy. Hope you're feeling better soon x

ola! mummy2olivia dont worry about the pain you had - now Dr's ruled out eptopic. last week i also had sharp pain - where i imagine fallopian tube is...had to go to dr after speaking to NHS direct and they did internal exam and was fine. My pain started after 20 mins on cross trainer - at a fraction of speed i usually do on it. next day pain'd dissapeared.
more about me:
age - 33
DH - 33
live in Hertfordshire
work - TV producer career, but now work in educational video production for a university
no kids yet
7 weeks pregnant
luckily not feeling sick yet (am on mega strict healthy eating plan - not cutting back on portions, just making sure i have the right amount of everything, maybe that's helped), but tired and after 4pm twilight zone starts and i become emotional!
have told 4 best mates and parents but finding it difficult to see other mates and not tell, and there's this huge thing i cant talk about which is so unlike me! going to wait till 12 weeks to tell rest of mates and work.

kitkat9 · 21/04/2008 17:21

ok, it's starting to sink in that I AM pg with dc 3 , so may I join this massive thread?

I'm apparently due on Christmas day! !

Didn't expect to find myself on the pg boards again...ds is 4 and dd is 1.

Congratulations to all you lovely ladies.

Indith · 21/04/2008 17:37

Sorry to hear your news princess.

Def echo the sentiments from Jollybear for the paranoid among us. Taking temp, taking more tests, fretting etc isn't going to change anything, all it will do is raise stress levels

Still bloated. Attempting to revise for exams. Wake me up when the blooming part of pg starts would you.

poisondwarf · 21/04/2008 18:46

Hello everybody especially Nolda, Toratora, Mina30 and lal07 who are all due on the same day as me.

Sorry to hear about all those who have mc - I can't imagine how awful that must be for you. Hope you will be putting in an appearance on another antenatal thread soon.

Me: 38
DP: 37
DS: 12 months
Live: Hackney, East London (originally from Blackburn)
Work: Performance analyst, local govt (yawn)

MS kicking in a bit more over the last few days but still very much bearable. Nipples starting to get a bit more sore (which I've been dreading as I'm still BF), but again so far bearable. Tiredness - a bit less bearable. Work - totally unbearable!

Has anyone else not got their first MW appointment till 12 weeks or is it just me?

MaeWest · 21/04/2008 19:02

Sorry to see names going from the list, take care and hope you get good news very soon.

Some details about me:

Ages: I'm 30, DH is 32, DS is 20 months
Work: part-time marketing/PR for a small charity, mostly working from home
Where I live: Bristol
What I like: reading, bit of craft stuff, eating(!), used to love going to theatre but not had much of a chance since DS

Have added boob twinges to my barely existent symptoms. Nipples seem quite sensitive to DS's toddler gnashers, but only quick feed in the morning normally (a few times last night tho) so bearable.

majormoo · 21/04/2008 19:31

sorry to hear your news Little Princess. Take care

I am another one in a sort of denial about being pregnant because I am scared of it all going wrong (again). Have not called the doctor yet. Had to tell my parents when I stayed with them for a few days last week, as they were cracking open and the wine and serving smoked salmon as a starter. Felt like I had jinxed it by mentioning it. They also think we are crazy to be having a third. My mum said the charming but common 'was it planned?'

Hope everyone else is doing OK and welcome everyone that has just joined.

It is impossible to keep up with it all there are so many people.

mibbes · 21/04/2008 21:12

welcome newcomers - wow loads of xmas day due dates !
hatty thanks so much for that you have put my mind at rest (for at least 3 minutes until I have my next panic !). I am definitely neurotic and paranoid about everything
Well found out last night that my parents aren't coming next week afterall so have cancelled week 9 scan and we have decided to hold off telling parents until 12 weeks - we'll just have to travel North to see my parents as really don't want to tell them over the phone. Am a bit that not having an early scan but a wee bit relieved as was very nervous.. this just delays the inevitable I suppose.
JB what a good quote, I'll try to bear that in mind. AM of new bra ! My poor (.)(.) are bursting out - will have to wait until the weekend to get to a decent shop with a bra-fitter lady.
littlemissdaisy I had a bright red bleed at 6 weeks then brown spotting the following day, as far as I'm aware all still well. As long as bleed isn't heavy or painful you should be ok - scroll down as there have been a few of us with small bleeds in the first few weeks.

hiccymapops · 21/04/2008 22:14

Evening everyone

1LittlePrincess i'm so so sorry Make sure you rest up and look after yourself xxx

Hello and congratulations to all the new people

Jollybear that quote made a lot of sense!

Hope everyone's feeling okay. I'm very jealous of all the bra bursting I'm still breastfeeding just before bed, and they're non existent now! (they weren't too cracking to start off with to be honest )

minster · 22/04/2008 08:58

LittlePrincess I'm sorry for your loss

littlemissdaisy · 22/04/2008 09:22

Hi, Well my wonderful news was not long lived, the spotting I had turned into full blown heavy bleeding overnight this is the third time this has happened to me, I am waiting for the fertility unit to ring me, there must be something that can be done, my problem obviously isn't getting preganant, its staying pregnant. I am now going to start my third round of clomid and go from there.

JollyBear · 22/04/2008 12:32

I'm so sorry littlemissdaisy . I hope that you get to the bottom of your miscarriages

artichokes · 22/04/2008 13:36

So Sorry to hear your news LittleMissDaisy and LittlePrincess. I hope you both get time to rest and then are back on an ante-natal board soon.

I am at work today. My first day at work since the sickness hit. Not fun. I have had to tell my secretary about the pregnancy just so she can cover for me when I am feeling yukky. She has been very sweet and keeps bringing me drinks and checking how I am . However, things are feeling distinctly dodgy since I experimented with raviolli in the canteen at lunch time!

sureitsno3 · 22/04/2008 14:31

Well it looks like i am joining, did a CB just now and it came up with a faint POS+, have put a piccie in my profile.

EDD will be 30th Dec.

MrsMattie · 22/04/2008 14:33

Looks like a BFP to me@sureitsno3 !!

Welcome!

march29 · 22/04/2008 14:46

hi can i join.... has a bfp this morning and according to my calculations edd should be 25th dec.

sureitsno3 · 22/04/2008 14:53

Ok i am now unjoining myself as apparently that isn't a pos+.

minster · 22/04/2008 15:08

Oh no LittleMissDaisy I'm sorry - I hope you get some answers from the fertility clinic

minster · 22/04/2008 15:11

sureitsno3 you're having a rotten time with those tests (that CB is positive though)

Disenchanted · 22/04/2008 15:11

It looks like a + to me.

Get a digital one

Says pregnant or not pregnant.

I had lots of tests like you, faint, neg, faint... ect...

then when I did the clearblue it came up 'pregnant'

minster · 22/04/2008 15:30

Sureitsno3 I saw on the other thread you'd bought a digi. Mine came up 'pregnant' when my line was really, really faint on the cheapie.

I just booked a scn at the FMC for 15th May (I'll be - please, please, please - 7+4). I am shitting myself about it already

Sore boobs today (on & off) & sick (on & off).
