Hi everyone!

Been to see my MW. She did an internal on me to get things moving. I have been bleeding and showing like a trooper. She tells me to keep moving and walking and hopefully LO will appear over next few days. She can't guarantee this obviously, but I really think she's helped things along.
So this baby could very well be an April fool after all!!

Oh and she touched my baby's head. When she told me this I almost burst into tears! (happy ones)
LO then squirmed about a bit in reaction to this. Bless him

ToastAddict · 31/03/2008 12:36

Ohhh, can someone email me PAL's baby's name too?

annahillathome (all as one word) @ googlemaildotcom

Thanks

I am having another cup of pg tea....RL, peppermint, Nettle and Chalomile. We get it at yoga, made by a herbalist lady. yum.

scorpio1 · 31/03/2008 13:17

We need a new thread soon.

Peachy · 31/03/2008 13:19

at PFJ- we're not allowed internals until 41 weeks here by policy.

Apaprently this baby LESS enaged now than at 35 weeks.

And you'd need a bloody beanpole to reach its head!

However have booked myself in for a haircut tomorrow, to try and give myself soemthing else to focus on. There's no reflexologists or anything in the village, so at least i'll look human even if it doesn't help with baby

scorpio1 · 31/03/2008 13:21

Peachy, i think our baby's may be doing a conspiracy theory against us......i don't have MW appt unitl week Weds, (39+5) so i don't know how engaged Mimi is, if at all. If i'm still pg then i am asking for a sweep.

Peachy · 31/03/2008 13:24

I think ours has heard his brothers and is staying put as a direct result

scorpio1 · 31/03/2008 13:28

lol same here!!

It's my Nan's funeral tomorrow and i think Millie will wait until that has settled down to appear, i think my body won't start labour until the mind is clear iyswim?

sagitta · 31/03/2008 13:28

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you both that its soon! And my legs crossed for myself that its not . My bump dropped about half a foot this morning and I've got the runs (sorry, about TMI!) - really hoping that its completely meaningless.

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 31/03/2008 13:43

Please someone send me PAL's baby name as well - dying to know!! [nosey emoticon]

biancadotpaton@gmaildotcom

Thanks!

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 31/03/2008 14:00

Thanks PAL - beautiful baby and lovely name! Ahhh now I really really really can't wait to meet mine!!

Mollyfloss · 31/03/2008 14:02

PFJ: She touched your baby's head?! I didn't know they could do that. Is there any risk of touching the baby's head when doing perineal massage, surely not as low down

My DH is definitely a lot more protective since I got pg but we go out all the time together. That said he has become more of a home bird these last few months. When we go out with friends he sort of uses me as an excuse to go home early. I joke with him saying he is pregnant too. He even has the new found sweet tooth like me and has put on some weight. I think it must be different when it's your first though. Maybe when it's your second or third they use your pregnancy as an excuse to tell you should stay at home because that also means you don't have to find a babysitter!

Carey87 · 31/03/2008 14:05

IM SOOOOO HAPPY!!!

Our stuff from mothercare is was supposed to arrive next Monday, but got the delivery date changed to this Wednesday! That means that baby can come anytime after Wednesday (car seat and mosses basket are in the order)

scorpio1 · 31/03/2008 14:07

lol Molly they can feel the head but only as a big round thing through the cervix and membranes, you will not feel it doing perinal massage!

Ooh i hope your delivery comes properly and on time!
