Thought I would take the plunge as I seem to have killed the previous thread . Will put a link on the old thread so you know where to come!

I like the second one - very clever.

surelyyoucantbeserious · 03/03/2008 13:18

hee hee! i vote option 2 as well.

lollipopmother · 03/03/2008 13:29

2nd one for me too please, although it's not strictly true for me just yet!

Barnpot - I don't think you'll find one single pregnant lady that hasn't completely freaked out at some point before (or even after) their scan, I certainly was mental with worry for 9 weeks before my scan and I (thankfully) have never had an mc or anything, so you're in good company here! Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

mamamufin · 03/03/2008 13:32

Yep, I with the second one too, its quite uplifting!
Hi Barnpot, you have come to the right place, hopefully we can be of support to you .
Dragonheart please visit us soon with news of babydragon number two.
I got the take that ultimate collection cd for mothers day.. .
I am still plodding on with my ms. I am determined to do little tasks this week to take my mind off it. I still cant travel yet which is really frustrating as it limits me.
kel I am like you my hospital has no knowlegde of me despite several phone calls to the midwife. Dont know what they have done with my notes. The worst part is that my Gp requested an early scan for me 4 weeks ago as she thought my severe ms could be a sign of a molar pregancy or twins. Anyway I am sure i am ok but Why even tell me it could be a molar and then make me wait a month plus? I am disgusted really. . Sorry guys, another mad rant.

Just been to asda to do my food shopping is it me or is baby bottles dummys etc more expensive now. Tommee tippee bottles x2 small ones £7.50. tommee tippee dummies x2 £3.59. perhaps ive just forgotten how expensive babies are. Thought id take the plunge and just buy 2 little things to celebrate passing 12 weeks. Bought some dummies and a hat they are so cute

Sunshinemummy · 03/03/2008 14:31

We spent a fortune on Saturday Kel - you wouldn't know we already had a lot of this stuff.

hopefully · 03/03/2008 14:43

I am quite excited - the presents are starting to come in! Haven't actually bought anything ourselves yet, but a few people have asked what we want, so we've made a list and hopefully we'll get stuff from that. Been bought a couple of babygros etc. Am wondering whether any of the list recipients will volunteer to buy the enormously expensive cot...

Ooh, and like the second title too!

kel78 · 03/03/2008 15:09

Yes Sunshine I also have alot of stuff put away from dd2 which were hardly used. I am so glad now I did keep them. I think that I will try and grab a few things every week so it doesnt get too expensive. Told my sister the price on bottles etc and she just laughed apparently they have always been this price and she says its were im a stay at home mum this time money is always tighter and thats why im price checking. I do remember last time buying what ever I wanted and they were top quality stuff good job it was all kept.
