Hi All,
move been collecting a few bits and bobs on Vinted, but I’d like to buy some brand new clothes too- what places would you all recommend for a bit of a splurge/ something special?

20 week scan today. I have to go back as she was being a monkey and they couldn’t get a clear picture of her heart through the spine. Everything else looked okay so just a few measurements to get. Have to wait until week before Christmas though to go again!

also she asked if I wanted a photo or next time. I said do one next time as figured she was awkward position. Now wish I’d just asked for one and got one again next time 😩 DD was excited to see another photo. In hindsight I just blurted out no and then was like why did I say that 🤣🤣

Confirmed she deff thought girl too so that’s good!

@xalexandra @LauraA31 it took me ages to work out how to PM too ... think you have to do it via desktop version as there doesn't seem to be the option in the app

@Balloffluff123 omg my diets been terrible, I swear I lived off sugar at the weekend. Trying to be better today but it’s hard when you’re tired, you just want crap. I also assumed I’d be really active and healthy during pregnancy but it’s not been the case at all.

Definitely up for a WhatsApp group, I’ll DM now. I live on the North West coast slightly north of Liverpool :)

Feeling sorry for myself today, I’m so so tired and really sharp round ligament pain is back after a few weeks off. I’m really struggling to be kind to myself and seem to be disappointed in myself for being so tired, I know that sounds mad. I was meant to be at my hobby tonight and I’ve cancelled as I just couldn’t face it, a day of working seems to be about all I can manage at the minute. Currently in a nice warm bath but wish I would give myself a break, not sure if that makes any sense to anyone else. If it was a friend I’d be saying don’t be silly, you’re pregnant, take it easy, but with myself it feels like I almost need to prove I’m not being a wuss and feels like it’s still too early to be getting so worn out from just being pregnant!

@MilkAndFenty my faves for nice baby clothes are Little Green Radicals, From Babies With Love, Pigeon Organics. All lovely ethical brands with colourful non-gendered colours and patterns.

Newbie is pretty nice too.

I'm so tired today. My bathroom is being renovated this week which is not very convenient, I've got loads of work to do, and DS is driving me mad. He's just being a typical 3yo but omg the constant whinging and constantly demanding a cuddle. I just want everyone to leave me alone to grow a baby in peace 😂

Hi everyone,

Goodness I’m so rubbish at keeping up!

@AliceinSlumberland thank you for your advice regarding a c-section in the other thread!
It sounds so silly, but I’m really squeamish about blood and cuts etc. and I honestly have thought about another vaginal birth, but this time ask for an epidural.

I asked for it with my daughter but they said they need to take my blood, which they did and they lost my blood somewhere! I ended up with gas and air and the injection in the leg and didn’t feel anything, my issues started literally after I gave birth.

I am trying to weigh up all the pros and cons, but it’s so hard.

And thank you for the user name appreciation! 😂

There was another lovely poster who tagged me regarding movements, I’m so sorry I can’t find the OP but we were talking about feeling baby’s movements. I’m glad you can feel the baby more now, as I can I!

I was going to book another scan in privately last Wednesday but Tuesday day I felt baby kicking and my mind was out at rest, even though I then told myself I imagined it! Plenty more movement since then :)

I have my 20 week scan on Friday and then I’ll tell my employer then too.

Just for the record whoever is doing the due date lists - we are expecting a boy 💙 and he is due on April 28th

I hope you have a wonderful evening xxx

@ancienthouse @Pommy1 that's true - Maybe we could remove the public link and just keep it to people who DM one of us? Really happy to help with this so Pommy isn’t having to do everything x

Is it possible to delete the link now though? Would we have to report the post?

Also Toby Tiger, Kite and Frugi 😍

yes, love those too for brighter colours! And Piccalilly.

Kite used to do these gorgeous knitted rompers not sure if they still do, but DS had a different one in every size as a baby they were so cute.

@Pommy1 I think @ancienthouse has a good point. I think you can reset the link on WhatsApp so the link that’s public no longer works?

Report
ancienthouse · 05/12/2022 22:11

@Chocolat @Springblooms08@Springblooms08 I think that would work, changing the link so that one doesn't work any more then DMing a new link to people.

@ancienthouse My DC1 did some baby modelling for TT about 20ish months ago and is still on their website 🤭 They're a local brand to me and I love their clothes! It was definitely a one-off thing though and not one I'd do again 😂

Yes report the single post with the link and the MN bods will remove it.

Can we still keep active on here for those not joining the WhatsApp group 🙏 I might join later on, but not for a while.

We love Newbie in this house, their women’s wear is also lovely, I had my eye on their Christmas dresses but with an expanding bump thought better of wasting the money. DD also had an abundance of Ted baker onesies for the first 18 months of her life, their patterns are lovely and I found they washed well.
