Hey, Verrry early days of course but just had a big fucking positive this morning and I'm so excited. I'll be due between the 4th to the 7th of April by my reckoning. Anyone else just received their positive?

That's exciting. I was hoping for one next week as she said she would book it for a weeks time, but I guess they didn't have any appointments. Will this be your first scan?

Yes first scan. I've been humming and ahhhing about booking an early scan but ultimately haven't. So just waiting! I feel so much further along than what I should be!

Everything was fine at the scan although I was right and measuring 11 weeks exactly. Unfortunately too early for the NT screening, CRL had to be over 45mm to take the reading and mine was 42.7mm, so out by a matter of days. I've got another scanbooked for 28th Sept. They said they would change my due date at the next scan so they still had me at 12+4. I expected to be 11+3.

Good luck for your scan today! I've 2 hours to go! This morning has draggedddddddd!!

Thanks! I was lucky mine was in the morning. Everything was fine, dates are consistent with the last scan putting me at 13+1 today and they've changed my due date to 4th April and that's where it will stay now. Baby was extra wriggly today which was quite funny to see although not easy for the sonographer. It was surprisingly quick, I remember having to wait around for ages to be seen at the clinic afterwards in previous pregnancies but I was out within an hour.

Certainly feels a lot more real now that I have a solid due date. They did say that I might have an appointment with the consultant as my 1st was born at 35 weeks, but I'm not so sure because they didn't bother with that in my 2nd pregnancy, they basically said it was probably a fluke so didn't bother to refer me. I will see what my midwife says when I see her at 16 weeks as I think it's her decision.

I hope everything goes well for you today! I'm guessing you'll be in your appointment right now so everything crossed it goes well for you and baby is fine and healthy!

Thank you 💕 our baby is a wiggler too. Sonographer wasn't best pleased baby kept moving when she went to take photos! All looks well though. My due date hasn't changed so still 7th April so 12+5 today. Now to book the gender scan....

Hey everyone just checking out unfortunately. We had an early scan at 9 weeks but it only showed 6 weeks of growth - a yolk sac but no heart beat. We had to have 2 further scans to confirm and last week I went to hospital to have surgical removal as my body was doing nothing. I wish you all well and will hopefully try again soon.
