could you not get him to book a meal out for Friday or Sunday? then you get both nigts out!

scorpio1 · 11/01/2008 10:56

we have no babysitters, he is pretending (or so i think) that my friend is babysitting, but i think she is going to get here and then take me out (she normally picks me up when we go out), and that the meal is a lie disguise!

Sheds75 · 11/01/2008 11:00

sounds sweet for trying to help organise with your friends, is he having a stag do?

scorpio1 · 11/01/2008 11:01

he is going out for a drink the night before with friends and family, he doesn't want a proper one becuase he hates practical jokes etc.

i know he is sweet and so is my friend but i just am so tired and busy and would adore to have a meal out with dp. I'm sure it will be fun

sagitta · 11/01/2008 11:03

Why don't you organise a surprise night out for him and you. Can you get one of the family/ friends to baby sit for Sunday or Monday?

scorpio1 · 11/01/2008 11:05

no, nobody ever really babysits. we have one girl who does but we havent money to be paying her as well iyswim? i'm sure it will be fine and i know i should be grateful that at least on saturday someone wants to take me out! guess im just tired.

EllieG · 11/01/2008 11:08

Tell them that you've already had a hen do here.

[Pulls party popper]

sagitta · 11/01/2008 11:22

Well, how about a Chinese take way at home on Sunday, with candles, music etc - something different from normal.

What are we drinking next? Pate, anyone?

VictorianSqualor · 11/01/2008 11:31

I want Leffe, lots of it.

Double whammy for me seeinga s I am allergic to it even when not PG and I adore the stuff (how typical is that? LOL)

And abig glass of drink- what do I fancy? Hmmmmmmmmm

A martini to start I think

scorpio1 · 11/01/2008 11:54

Sheds75 · 11/01/2008 11:57

sagitta · 11/01/2008 11:58

Scorpio you look great. By the way, the fact you want parma ham makes me suspect we shouldn't be eating it - is that right? If so, whoops...

scorpio1 · 11/01/2008 11:59

yep, shouldn't eat parma ham, tis raw meat!

EllieG · 11/01/2008 12:03

[Ellie sits in little cloud of fag smoke, but keeps it away from scorpio's flammable veil]

L plates and straw in shape of willy here for scorpio's bud

sagitta · 11/01/2008 12:03

But its cured - is that not OK? Does that also mean no salami, smoked salmon etc?

Oh dear

scorpio1 · 11/01/2008 12:04

where is my willy shaped chocolate?!?

EllieG · 11/01/2008 12:05

[whispers] I've eaten all of those things, just not lots or often. And probably will carry on too.
Hope my baby doesn't come out funny.

scorpio1 · 11/01/2008 12:05
