TLSM - prob a good idea to phone the docs/mw and get checked out.

Suze - I know, its prob only used 3-4 times a week as well, it has been through the airport system though so dont know if something didnt happen to it then.

EllieG · 15/01/2008 13:04

Call doc - your blood pressure or sugar levels might need checking x

Mollyfloss · 15/01/2008 13:21

Hello!
Ellie G: Glad to hear you're feeling better today.
Soph: Love the pics, gorgeous! SuzeM: Have a great time in Seville! lucky you, London is sooo miserable today. By the way, our descriptions on the list are identical and you are due only a day after me. Did you decide on a hospital?
TLSM: You should call your Doc, just to get checked out.

northeastmummy · 15/01/2008 13:24

TLSM - call the doctor! Just the very fact that you're asking us if you should makes me think you should iyswim.

Ellie - hope you're having a better today. I think you need some tlc - it sounds like you're doing all the "looking after" just now.

Where IS Scorpio???

sagitta · 15/01/2008 13:24

Hi TLSM - I agree, I think you should call a Dr. Hope its all fine. If its any consolation, I felt really peculiar at the weekend - suddenly dizzy and sick on and off for a few days. And with tummy pain. But LO's still moving so I guess its OK.
Good luck

On Friday I found a tiny bit of bright red blood (sorry if TMI) and was a bit worried. I had no pain or anything and I thought it was probably piles but still I wasn't sure so rang my Doctor and was able to pop in straight away. She had a quick look and confimed it and then I was able to relax for the weekend.

TLSM · 15/01/2008 13:33

Have booked to see the Doctor today at 4.20 doesnt help I have a 3/4 hour drive home and a horrid boss

TLSM · 15/01/2008 13:33

How rude also thanks guys

PortAndLemonaid · 15/01/2008 13:38

Keep losing this thread...

Right. This should get it back on "Threads I'm On" and I can go back and catch up...

In the last week have had 28-week midwife appointment (all fine, measuring 1 week ahead but that's barely anything compared with DS at the same stage), 3D/4D scan (she's still a girl! and has a penchant for putting her arm in front of her face... pictures here), and a glucose tolerance test this morning (not my most favourite thing ever, but not as bad as others had warned).

PortAndLemonaid · 15/01/2008 13:49

I think I may keep this name... I've grown quite attached to it over the last month. Or maybe shorten to PortAndLemon.

northeastmummy · 15/01/2008 13:51

Great news that you have an appointment TLSM, but be careful driving. I might sound like I'm being OTT but if your boss isn't going to worry about you then we have to! If you find yourself feeling light headed while you're driving, make sure you pull over.

northeastmummy · 15/01/2008 13:52

And it shortens to PAL which is very friendly

sagitta · 15/01/2008 13:53

Amazing pics, portandlemonaid!

SuzeM · 15/01/2008 13:54

Scorpio, if you check in here, just want to say have a wonderful day!

TLSM - ignore your boss and look after yourself.

Molly, yes, I cut and pasted from your details! I am sticking with St Thomas, my new GP reckoned it was easier if I stayed there as I have a 28 week scan arranged and they are happy to keep me. I just thought C&W might be more convenient but St Thomas is v. central too.

meandbump · 15/01/2008 13:54

meandbump · 15/01/2008 13:57

i keep thinking im going to be early but ive only got a little bump

lorisparkle · 15/01/2008 13:58

I'm thinking about reuseables for DC2. Anyone had any experience in using them. I was looking at the little lambs and have one for DS1. They seem OK and cheap but don't know about the time issue with a lively toddler and a newborn. Tried the tots bots when DS1 was tiny but the wraps seemed to leak - not sure if it was just me though. Our County Council will give £30 back when you buy £50 worth so that should cushion the financial impact.

Ellie - I had loads of wierd stomach pains with DS1 and spend many a night in the hospital being monitored and then discharged as they could find nothing wrong (the most fun was being admitted Christmas Eve, put on a drip with nil by mouth, and the discharged on Boxing Day! - all this was whilst staying at the in laws!). They suggested Gall Bladder problems but once DS1 was born the problems disappeared and this time they have not reappeared. This pregnancy is a weird business. How are you hips/pelvis? I'm feeling extra achey today but better than before I had the belt.

TLSM - Hope everything goes well at the Drs. Fingers crossed for you.

meandbump · 15/01/2008 13:59

hi is there anyone in essex on here

PortAndLemon · 15/01/2008 14:02

Used reusables with DS and plan to again.

Have used

  • Tots Bots (have used regular nippa, bamboozles and fluffles) -- DON'T use the Tots wraps if you go down this route, as they are Not Much Cop; try Tots nappies with a Motherease Airflow wrap instead.
  • Slinki Minkis
  • Fuzzi Bunz
  • Supa Dupas
  • Nature Babies stuffables
  • Wonderoos

and probably a whole bunch more that escape me at the moment (had a bit of a nappy addiction going for a while).

PortAndLemon · 15/01/2008 14:03

(just a general wave, not an "I'm in Essex" kind of wave)
