LOL Denny, I always get peopel asking how long I've got.
Some nosey busybody at the bus stop the other day asked me when I was due, said she thoguht I was going to have it over xmas, got the usual 'not twins is it?' comment, told her no, I've had a lot of scans it's def only one and she started asking all these questions about why I have had extra scans and if something was wrong with the baby, flipping nosey cow

Anyway talking of scans I have another one today! and the consultant meeting, I'm going to move in to the bloody hospital at this rate!

Even though it took me an hour and a half to get 4 miles into work this morning I am going to have A Better Day.

I am going to be positive ALL day and make everyone around me feel a bit sick with my pollyanna-ish enthusiasm for life

Denny185 · 15/01/2008 09:36

Positive vibs coming your way Ellie the day will be good.

VS, good luck at the hosp today hope it dosent upset you too much and the plan stays the same 4 you. Glad im not the only one getting the comments, I actually think Im a lot smaller this time - maybe i was just deluding myself and it is another 10lber in the making

Denny185 · 15/01/2008 09:37

oh and boo to the rain again, think ill be driving to toddler group this pm.

TLSM · 15/01/2008 10:05

Vibes for Ellie ** Gosh I always had an image of Jersey as easy going and sunny all the time thats been smashed with a traffic jam

Good Luck VS I think i would have said to the lady bog off! but I suppose you have to get a bus with her everyday! Good luck today It is nice to see bud grow with my DS I had low fluid so had scans every other week from 24 weeks although after a while it was "oh god not another scan" this time I just need another at 34 weeks to check baby tom is growing ok Max was born at 38 week sna d weighed 7lbs 9 oz so they are expecting a monster I think! i also have my 4D scan on the 2nd Feb which is cool

I am going to up date the list today (should be working but hayho) i will take off all the names that have not been on MN for 3 months as there seems to be loads that are not around anymore then if they come back we can add them back on

EllieG · 15/01/2008 10:29

Good plan TLSM - is always nice to find a nice avoiding-work activity.

Soph73 · 15/01/2008 10:45

Morning all You'll all be pleased to know that it's raining here as well Ellie - big positive vibes for you I also get tummy ache when I´ve done too much or carried stuff that's too heavy. Am going to put scan piccies of Sam on now. Wish me luck

KnitterInTheNW · 15/01/2008 10:50

Morning, and what a revolting one it is outside!

Sheds, I sympathise with your M56 crawl, I was doing the between Warrington and Wilmslow every weekday morning til christmas. I don't miss it at all!

Ellie, You WILL have a better day today, I've decided!

I'm sitting waiting for the estate agent to call back, the man that came for a 2nd viewing put an offer in last night on our house, and now we're just trying to nudge him up a bit. He's in a rented house at the mo and the house we want has no upward chain, so if everything goes to plan there's a minute chance we might be in it before junior arrives! Hmmm, probably not though, i've only got 10 weeks left til I'm 38 weeks, and the docs have said they'll induce between 38 & 39 weeks (diabetes). That's not very long is it, help!

Soph73 · 15/01/2008 10:52

Soph73 · 15/01/2008 12:07

SuzeM - lucky you Hope the weather's nice for you. Is it just a holiday or for something specific?

sagitta · 15/01/2008 12:18

Morning all. What a lot of chatting...it's taken me ages to catch up, but what a pleasant work-avoiding tactic.

Love your blanket Knitter. My mum has been busy making blankets and hats for LO and DD, but they are all plain. for Ellie getting a Knitter special!
And glad the guy put in an offer on your house.

I hope today's going OK Ellie.

And hope your tummy's better Soph - mine's been like that too.

I am no buggy expert, but I bought one for DD when she was about five months (sling till then), and it was /is fantastic and very cheap from Mothercare. And v good for London as it was really narrow. I'm not planning on getting another - will carry LO until DD is walking everywhere, then LO can go in DD's buggy. But I have seen a site called preloved.co.uk, which has got loads of second hand ones.

Really sick of the weather. And today I am wishing we had never moved to the country. It seems colder and wetter, and I want to go back to London.

Where's Scorpio?

SuzeM · 15/01/2008 12:28

Thanks Soph. Think the forecast is for rain. We are going for dh's 40th birthday ... can't believe he is 40!

Sagitta, thanks for the tip, I will check out that site.

TLSM · 15/01/2008 12:38

i dont know if I should call the Doctor of not yesterday I passed out when i out DS to bed this has never happened to me before and i put it down to running around all day yesterday and not really eating much but I am sitting at my desk now and feel very high headed I have eaten loads this morning so know its not that what do you think is it worth calling the Doctor?

SuzeM · 15/01/2008 12:47
