glad it went well.

My scan the other day was lovely, there was a wigggly little thing on the screen, seeing ti moving around was odd, DD scan at a simialr stage she was still with just the flickry heart beat. Can't wait until 20 week scan in jan

runtus · 15/11/2004 13:04

Sorry to but in but has anyone heard from Sweetheart recently?? I can't get hold of her on either email or MN, getting a bit worried .....has she gone away and I've forgotten??

Sophmum · 15/11/2004 14:33

Hello all, hope you had good weekends. Sorry to hear about all the sickness - hopefully it will pass soon.

Ironically, I have been feeling sick most of the weekend, but no other change. I'll be glad when tomorrow's over and I can get on with whatever the outcome dictates.

Had a nice weekend, thanks Teabelly. Went to Cirencester on Sat for lunch with dh and dd, really cold but nice and sunny.

Will let you know how I get on tomorrow.

welshmum · 15/11/2004 14:59

Hello all, I won't be on here as much as I'd like this week as I'm not in my regular office most of the time.
Sorry to hear how sick many of us are feeling. I'm suffering from being totally knackered all of the time.
Sophmum I hope things go well for you today - will be thinking of you.
I had a lovely bit of news at the weekend. My brother and his gorgesou missus are expecting a happy event in July. I'm so delighted - and very happy to be pg along with her

Afternoon everyone.

Just back from the midwife - booking in appointment. She's new since last time and she's lovely, plus the other new midwife at the clinic who will do shared care is someone I know, so I'm very happy! Plus I do get a 13 week scan without lying about my dates - all I had to do was have a CS last time, bit extreme perhaps. Not feeling quite so sick today - seem to do one day on and one day off with that.

Tessiebear, glad it went well with the family. Doesn't matter how old you are, you still feel like a teenager around family if you're anything like me.
Sophmum, will be thinking of you. Are you near Cirencester, btw, I am about 40 mins away from there.
BTW, I have seen Sweetheart on another thread today, so she is around.

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:37

Hello,

I am here - just popped in this afternoon!!!

I had an exam last week which is why I wasn't around.

Anyway, not much to report here - apart from that I haven't been kidnapped!!!

mrsflowerpot · 15/11/2004 15:37

how did the exam go sweetheart?

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:44

not too bad thanks MrsFP, I get my results on the 25th so not too long to wait.

It's not this one I'm worried about. I have another on 1st December which I'm sure to fail!!! I've got mush where my brain used to be

katzguk · 15/11/2004 15:46

hello

bored at work and don't want to join the breastfeeding debates that are raging. whats everyone up to?

mondays normally a chatty day where is every one?

MrsWednesday · 15/11/2004 15:47

Sophmum, this must have been the longest week of your life. I will be thinking of you tomorrow and keeping everything crossed that you get good news.

Good news about your scan MrsFlowerpot - when is it? And good luck for yours tomorrow Uwila. I'm jealous, having two scans for the price of one.

Tessiebear, glad everything went well when you told the parents. You can relax and enjoy this pregnancy now.

Welshmum, lovely news about your brother, had they been trying long? I vaguely remember you mentioning him before I think.

I'm so tired today, it's taken me all day to summon up the energy to type a message on here, so you can imagine how much proper work I've managed to do. Remind me, we do get more energy in the second trimester don't we? And when does that start?

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:47

I'm bored at work too!!!! Did dip into the breast feeding argument but soon left that - i think it's for people that are passionate about the subject - which I'm not!!!!!

It does seem very quiet in here today. In fact I was expecting it to take ages to catch up on all the chat today but it seems to have been a quiet weekend too!!!!!

MrsWednesday · 15/11/2004 15:48

I wouldn't dare join the breastfeeding debate, I had a read and it was frightening!

Very impressive doing exams in early pregnancy Sweetheart - I can barely remember my own name.

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:49

MrsW - 12 weeks + is when we're supposed to feel better. I can't wait for Xmas now!!! I'll be 12 weeks - have a week off work AND college, plus all my exams will be over until June time - Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:50

My final exam is on/around June 16th

WHAT A TOTAL NIGHTMARE - I'll be huge!!!!

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:51

why didn't the bold work??????

katzguk · 15/11/2004 15:52

i'm glad no more exams for me!!! yeah!!! have hopefully finished with for life yeah!!

MrsWednesday · 15/11/2004 15:53

What are you doing exams in Sweetheart?

How's the sickness Katzguk?

katzguk · 15/11/2004 15:53

i've got 7 days to go until 12 weeks and i'm hoping for a miracle - lots of energy no sickness and glowing complexion!! seeing GP again next week to discuss medication so maybe back to throwing up again!!

katzguk · 15/11/2004 15:54

weird Mrs W answered your question before you asked it!

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:54

MrsFP - Just saw your post on another thread - can I just ask?!?!?!?!?

Why is the bfing thing making you seeth????? Sorry, tell me to bog off if you want (I promise I won't argue with you)

It got my back up - just beacuse I'm probably what you'd class as a "Young mum" (I hate that term with a passion!!!!!)

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:57

MrsW - I'm doing AAT which stands for "Association of Accounting Technicians" or just plain accounting for the more simple ones of us out there. I'm on the final year - Or "technician" as they like to call it!!!

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 15:57

katzguk - glowing complexion - I'll drink to that. I look like something out of Kevin and Perry go large!!!

Uwila · 15/11/2004 15:58

Agree about the breastfeeding debate. I don't really understand why people get so passionate about it. I figure I'll give it ago... for at least a week or so.

Tried it with DD but the supply just wasn't there... but boy were my tits raw!! Just not really worth the pain. It lasted for maybe a month.

Oh, and if the midwives in the hospital want to come poking at my tits again, I'm not going to be bashful. I'm just going to slap them and tell them my tits are off limits to them.

sweetheart · 15/11/2004 16:00

HA HA HA!!!!!! ROFL!!! Uwila - you go girl!!!!!

I'd love to be in the hospital bed next to yours!!!!

MrsWednesday · 15/11/2004 16:00

Psychic! (blimey, that's a difficult word to spell).

Ooh, I am reassured to read I'm not the only one covered in teenage acne. I look a right state at the minute, what with the bags under my eyes, grey skin and enormous spots....

I am impressed Sweetheart - numbers frighten me, so you have my upmost admiration.
