Evening all - too tired to read all the gossip im afraid! Hope you are all well though and that you have a lovely relaxed weekend .... thats my hope anyway!
Sickness is manageable at the moment, have the worlds biggest appetite and am really tired. Have just eaten: Big bowl of spaggetti with butter and parmesan, two burgers in buns with onion, tomato, mayo and tomato ketchup and am still hungry...

MrsWednesday · 12/11/2004 20:05

Good for you Tessiebear. I'm just waiting for the Pizzahut delivery man to bring my tea round....

Lua, your DD will probably have no recollection of her 2nd birthday very soon! I know I haven't got any recollection of mine anyway .

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Scraggyaggy · 13/11/2004 09:23

Morning all!!

I have a horrendous attack of sicky stomach this morning. Have had the worst night's sleep ever too... need food to make me feel better but I just don't "fancy" anything - talk about feeling miserable!

Well, at least I have the midwife's words in my head "Sickness is good as it means a healthy pregnancy"

Cobweb · 13/11/2004 15:05

Hi girls sorry but once again I have neglected my pc

I can honestly say that I feel awful

I am normally fine in the mornings if I get up and eat within ½ an hour but its the evenings that are the worst. I never could understand women with m/s but OMG its awful and I am heaving at the slightest smell which is made worse if I think about it too much IYKWIM!!!

MrsW what a poppet you are for doing all our due dates amazing how many of us there are!

Good to see you all and hope you are all ok (((hugs)))

Tell me am I meant to be here or on our other board. Confused of Wiltshire here LOL xxx

Big hugs and waves to you all xxx

MrsWednesday · 13/11/2004 16:56

Hiya Cobweb, I've been wondering where you are. So glad everything is ok, but so sorry you're feeling poorly. Must be a little girl you're growing in there .

Yes, this is the place to be now, we were crashing too many computers being such a long thread!

Cobweb · 13/11/2004 17:33

Thanks MrsW (((hugs)))

Not sure about the girl thing, although I would be very happy if it was as I have two DS's already.

Thing is I think I am destine to have boys

How are you doing babe xxx

Cobweb · 13/11/2004 17:36

Oh and forgot to say that I had my letter through for my 12 week scan which is on Friday 19th

teabelly · 13/11/2004 18:30

Hi there, sorry first opportunity to come on again, hope your all as well as possible. Had the scan and all is well will get the blood test results on monday evening. During the scan he also confirmed my dates, and I'm ahead of where I thought...I'm 12 weeks today, which gives me a new due date of 28th May...but if it's ok with everyone I would like to stay on this board?

Scraggy I'm afraid I can't do wednesday for lunch...it's my bosses birthday drinks, and as I'm going to tell him about bubba this week I'd better keep on his good side

MrsWednesday · 13/11/2004 19:40

Oh brilliant news Teabelly - I have been thinking about you since yesterday. Don't leave us for the May board!

Cobweb, I'm ok, thanks for asking - tired, hormonally grumpy and feeling queasy (which is odd because I haven't been sick so far this pregnancy) so I'm taking all of these as a good sign. No more bleeding either....yet.

Not long to wait until you've got your scan! Hopefully your horrible sickness is helping to put your mind at rest. Mine isn't until 14th December (at 14 weeks) but I'm going to have a nuchal scan before then. Hope you manage to eat something this evening .

pandagirl03 · 13/11/2004 22:56

oh great thought i would miss the morning sickness bit out, but been feeling really sick all day. just sat watching tv and had to bolt to the loo could it be the start of morning sickness.

Tessiebear · 14/11/2004 12:20

Morning Ladies - sorry you are all feeling so sick
I now seem to feel fine in the day but in the evening i feel like i have the flu - hot and cold, feel really sick, desperately tired( when i take the DS's to bed seperately it takes me ages because i fall asleep each time! - took DS1 to bed at 8.30 last night - didnt make it downstairs until 9.45 as i had fallen asleep!)
Cobweb - nice to see you back - do you feel really different symptoms wise this time than what you did with the boys?? I definately do.
Teabelly - stay with this thread!!!!!! You are bound to go overdue

Tessiebear · 14/11/2004 12:21

Pandagirl - how many weeks are you?

muddaofsuburbia · 14/11/2004 14:15

hI everybody,

this is just a quick message to say I'm signing off for possibly up to 2 weeks. We move house tomorrow and we won't have internet access until we get properly connected with BT etc. We won't even have tV for a while - how will ds survive without Balamory???

Anyway, will catch up once i'm back in MNland, but until then all the best to everyone and I'll be back here at 12 weeks!! And with a new name - McMudda!

Byeeeee

Tessiebear · 14/11/2004 16:49

Good luck with the move McMudda!! (dont go lifting any heavy boxes!)
Am just off to tell my parents about my pregnancy.
The whole family will be there, they have not got a clue but come from a real 2 children generation and so not sure how my news is going to go down. They also expect my sister to be "next". They havnt actually started trying yet and my sister knows and is totally pleased for me - i just know that my parents are going to be thinking "oh how is sister taking this" - sorry for the ramble just really nervous about telling them .... how is it parents always make you feel like a child again!?!

mrsflowerpot · 14/11/2004 17:18

Wow, I go offline for a week and there's a whole new thread already bursting at the seams!

Hope everybody is OK and not too sick - have only really been able to scan through all the messages. And hello to everyone who has joined us last week. We are legion now aren't we!

getting a bit better myself, still queasy but not as bad as a couple of weeks ago. I'm up for food at least every other day now which is an improvement. Have my first midwife appointment tomorrow, but not sure if I will get a scan before the 20 week one, as they seem to have stopped dating scans here. May fib about how sure I am about my dates to see if I can swing one .

Is anyone else finding their other children difficult to cope with? I am really struggling with ds. I am fine if he's being mostly cooperative, but when he starts being difficult I just feel like I don't have the resources to cope with him. I'm really tired, don't know if it's just that. He doesn't know about the pg, and he's not being any more difficult than usual given he's 3 years old, it's all me. I step back from some of the battles and realise I've started them! then I start to worry about how ill-equipped I am to deal with two! Anyway, dh has taken him out for an hour so I'm lying on the bed - aaah the luxury.

BUBBALOO · 14/11/2004 17:29

hi tessiebear,
hope it goes well telling the parents.
it was really hard for us to tell ours because after 6 years ttc we knew they would be estatic,to say the least.we've told most people now as we couldn't keep it a secret for more than about a week!
good luck with the move mcmudda-hope it all goes to plan

Scraggyaggy · 14/11/2004 19:12

Evening all!

I feel awful.... can't escribe how I feel exactly, but my stomach has swollen up like a big football and I am just soooooo gassy!! I am suddenly looking pregnant - eek!

We were supposed to be going to a family do today to tell dp's side about our news, but I just couldn't get out of bed. I feel a bit guilty as he is desperate to tell them.

Bubbaloo - Am so pleased for you, you'll probably have twins or triplets to make up for lost time now!

Teabelly - No worries about lunch, let's see if we can all meet up one weekend. I can't believe you're having a May baby! Don't leave this thread though, as someone else said, you'll probably go over.

BUBBALOO · 14/11/2004 19:23

hi scraggyaggy,
sorry to hear you dont feel too good.
i feel like a bit of a fraud as ive had hardly any nausea-its mainly just tiredness, going to the loo alot and also the gassiness.
im also convinced that my tummy has grown although i dont seem to have put on any weight, which is just aswell as i weigh enough to start with-LOL!!.
as for twins...theres about 5 sets in our families so thats a bit worrying but im sure its just one.

pandagirl03 · 14/11/2004 19:33

hi tessiebear

im 6 weeks i have felt sick all day today.

Uwila · 15/11/2004 09:28

Teabelly, my due date is end of May as well (but I haven't had a scan yet for verification). So I'm cheating and posting on both boards. Besides, half the people on the June thread will probably deliver in May, and half the people on the May thread will probably deliver in June.

I have my first nuchal scan tomorrow (on the NHS). Yippee!! :-) And, Friday, I'm having another one at FMC.

teabelly · 15/11/2004 09:32

Good morning,

Hope you are all as well as can be, sorry to all of those who are feeling bad still...it does get better, promise

Thanks for the messages to stay on this board and you're right I'll probably go overdue...I did with ds.

Mrs W - your scan falls on a very lucky day - my birthday!

Sophmum how was your weekend? Good luck for tomorrow, got everything crossed for you

Shall we try and set a date then for a weekend meet for those that can get to London?? Are there any weekends that people can't do? I'm not around this weekend coming or the 11/12 dec...how's everyone else fixed?

I'm off work today as ds has come down with the most horrendous chesty cough, throwing up all night etc (thank goodness for balamory - he's finally stopped crying ) , so I'll try and catch up with you guys later, take care.

teabelly · 15/11/2004 09:35

Uwila you're right of course!

Good luck for tomorrow - it's just so great to see them in there I'm still amazed at how well formed they are at just 11-12 weeks!

Tessiebear · 15/11/2004 09:38

Panda girl - when i was six weeks i felt sick all the time- now at nearly 8 weeks the sickness has settled down and only seems to peak at certain times of the day.
Well told the family last night! We were in the middle of dinner and DH said - "Ds has something to tell everyone" DS: "Mummy 's got a baby in her tummy" - STUNNED SILENCE for what seemed like ages - everyone was REALLY pleased - just really shocked - didnt think we were having any more etc etc. So releived to have told everyone. Ds1 is telling his school friends today, bless. DS2 is indifferent to the whole thing!
Feel sooo tired today. I nearly fell asleep at a set of traffic lights on the way back from school this morning
Hope you are all ok

teabelly · 15/11/2004 09:50

Tessie, I'm so glad all went well with telling your family it's a real load off your mind once people know isn't it.

Tessiebear · 15/11/2004 09:50

Definately Teabelly - i hate secrecy!
