Great news about the scans.
I've got mine tomorrow and I am a little apprehensive. DH can't make it so I've roped my best friend to come with me. I won't properly relax until I see it is real. MS (well all day sickness) is still in full flow. Had to tell my team today. We had a Christmas Breakfast in the restaurant and the sight of all those bacon and eggs made me so queasy. The one bloke in our team mentioned Black Pudding and I had to made a quick dash for it. When I cam back I had to explain myself. I think they are all pleased even the girl who recently had a MC @ 12 weeks.
Twins run in both sides of my family so could be a possibility for me! And I found out I was pg 5 days before AF was due! Hope not really as we don't have the room! Also having the nuchal scan and bloods. Should get the results back on Friday. Hope everything is OK.

hi ladies

time to introduce myself.i have been lurking for a while. i am 12 plus 5 today which makes me due on the 26th june but i thought that the june thread was rather "advanced" so thought i would come here instead.

i had my nuchal fold today, which went fine and have had my first mw appt too. its all a little confusing as i am in copenhagen (but british) and my danish isn't great so i am slowly navigating the system here.

i have been and still am very nervous because i had an mc in august.

this is my first. are there many other first-timers here? i noticed a while ago that there was also a first-timers thread that you could join as well as your ante-natal.
anyway, hi, and hope everyone is doing well.

Well had my booking in appointment with the midwife today. spent ages going through the booking in process, filling in all the paperwork etc.

Midwife has me at 10 weeks yet i had thought i was 11 weeks.

Just spent the evening reading through the info pack the midwife gave me.

was slightly disappointed that it wasnt more exciting but hey.
Good news in that ive got a date now for my scan- New Years eve!

Cant wait for the scan now to make it seem real. Almost feel like theres no proof I really am pregnant!

Hi all,
Been a busy week here flat out with exams and MS!! lol It's getting better but still there! Finding i have to eat little and often so DP thinks i am eating all the time!! I wish..

HAD SCAN TODAY!!! Bubs is doing great (TG) 6 days ahead so due date should be the 4th but going to leave it at the 10t... Feel so releived, this is the 3rd and still have the butterfly's in my tummy waiting for scan..

libralady - best of luck for tomorrow oh I think you are in with a good chance of twins I already know theres only one in here so it's not me although I am sure I would have coped 4 under 5 would have been hard work. Also the SPD would have been worse plus the general heaviness of being pregnant with two so I'm glad it's only the one.

Remember ladies due date is just an estimation something like only 5% of babies are born on their due date and I am baggsying (is that a word) mine to be born on it's due date, I have had one at 37+5 and one at 41+5 so I deserve one on it's due date. I WILL NOT be hanging about this thread in July on my lonesome whilst you ahve all gone over to the dark side of the postnatal thread and I will be quietly going overdue and mad. I WILL NOT!!!!!!

I think I can feel my fundus well my erm pubic mound is definitely harder and more pronounced even DP agreed, still feel sick and have about 20 spots on my face. Have been so tired today like a hangover been walking about in a daze. Doing really stupid things as well, lay on the sofa for an hour today, DD1 lay with me read a book and watched TV the wee soul, but didn't feel too sorry for her she saw Santa today. Should really go to bed earlier DP nags me but the thing is it's nice to have a few hours to myself at night without kids hanging off me if that makes any sense??

can i bagsy having twins? DF said this is definately my last and i have a thing about odd numbers, so i need to twins to make it possible for me not to have kittens everytime i think about only having 3.....
there is a possibility of course, 4 sets of identicals on my dads side, one identical on my mums, 2 nons on mums and 2 nons on df's side....so possibly???wont find out till my birthday

Well I've got butterflies this morning. Don't know whether it's nerves or I can feel the first flutterings!
Scan is at 10.40 so am just off to take DS to nursery and they may pop into Mum's for a cuppa before I pick up my best friend before actions stations.
Am having the NT scan and bloods as well and I am on pain of death to ring DH after all is through to let him know everything is OK.

I come back later and hopefully post a piccy of the scan.

Only gagged once this morning so looking good so far. Sorry if tmi, but does anyone else 'dry gag' when attempting to blow their nose? It's got me the past 5 days.

Hi all, haven't posted for a while so congrats to all those who have had scans and welcome to newbies! I had a scan yesterday and all is well. I kind of knew it was though as I felt this baby move for the first time at 9 weeks (even though everyone I told looked at me as if I was mad) and for the last few days have felt it regularly which is amazing as it's so much earlier than either of my previous two. I've also got very big bump despite losing a stone from being so sick, which hasn't stopped yet, even though i'm past the 12 week point. I just want to feel well for christmas!!!! Good luck with your scan liberalady x...... oh and i'm going to have a HB this time, last two were very easy hospital births

I was watching my DS this morning and thinking of the size comparison, and how quickly time's gone since my last 12 week scan... I started to compare scans... it was very emotional, I must be pregnant!!!
