Hi Ladies and welcome to melander

Had a very busy hectic and long day at work today so very glad to be sat down for the evening!

Got my Midwife appointment tomorow at 9am which im looking forward to. DH is coming with me.
However when I got in tonight there was an answer message from the hospital asking me to ring them. Of course didnt get in till 6 so tried ringing them back but they must have already gone home.
Now im not sure if theres a problem or not and probably wont know till i get there at 9.
Really hope they dont want to change it as ive been looking forward to it and wanted to get things going before xmas.
Going to be on my mind now all evening!

it;s probably nothing pigley, they might just have wanted to confirm tomorrows appt.!

Thats what DH said but I cant help but worry.

Hi guys, I don't nrmally come on at nigt, but DH has gone Christmas shopping and I hate Eastenders!!!

I can't believe how we are all moving on, finally getting midwife appts and Linea Negras (wow!) Am I the first one with a scan (tomorrow morning?) I am sooo excited, can they tell what sex it is yet? I didn't want to find out with DS so I can't remember??

aww sure it's fine pigley probably reminding you to bring a wee sample with you or something or to ask you something trivial.

Jodie - I had a scan at 8 weeks but the 12 week one is the one we all look forward to no they can't tell the sex at 12 weeks you will have to wait another 8 for that!

I am wondering if anyone is going to have twins.

Morning EEC, i;ve stil got 10 days till mine! however a friend of mine is coming to stay tomorrow, she's in her third year of MW training so i can envisage lots of palpating!!!

Just to let you all know, I am due 15th July, am only 10 weeks, my dates were all wrong obviously. Good news is that there is only one in there, and it was wriggling round like a goodun! I'm so glad now my mind is at ease! I can get on with it now without worrying too much....

I don't have a scan date yet I had better get one through this week or I will be phoning them up the 27th demanding a scan asap (may even resort to fabricating some symptoms) I don't think thats bad I have been through hell the past week they bloody owe me a scan!!!!

Anyway no more bleeding so am thinking all must be well but would still like it confirmed.

It's brill news that bleeding's stopped Kitty, and I suppose in a round about way it's fab that you've started to feel rough!! (that sounds wierd!) But they're all good signs..

So as there is only one baby inside of me (phew) someone else needs to be carrying twins... I wonder who it will be???? Anyone with any high chances???

Great news Jodie. Haven't posted in a while as been too tired! (is that ever gonna end!). Sickness most definatly got better, still bad in evenings but so much more managable at work.

Scan not till 3rs Jan and excitied but very anxious that i've imagined the whole thing? Anyone else feel like that?

Mummy -- I felt like I had imagined everyting (sily I know as I haven't had a period and done 2 tests!) up until this morning when I saw the little thing kicking and chillin out in my tummy!!

By the way, any one had any cravongs yet? I haven't had strong ones yet, but every night while I'm lying in bed I have a taste for something wierd, last night it was Olives, the night before, garlic bread, the night before cheese and potato pie!!!!

Jodie - not just started feeling rough been feeling rough for about 6 weeks, am all spotty as well, hair lank and greasy but thats par for the course when I am pregnant I never get the elusive "glow" people go on about.

Trousers aren't getting tighter but I have a bump.

It is really in there - it was asleep at the beginning of the scan, so I had to jiggle about to wake it up. All limbs present and correct, with a heartbeat.

Hoorah - now I feel properly pregnant - all the other indications are nothing compared to the scan!

Good news Kitty - sounds like this one is sticking around!

My due date is officially 3rd July - so i was only 2 days out - I will be 12 weeks on Thursday.

My MIL will be disappointed - one of her friends has twin grandsons, and another girl in the village had twins recently - so in order to fully keep up in her social circle I had to be having triplets really...

Great news Jodie, isaidhohoho. My grandmother was a twin, and my cousin has twins, but none of my sisters do so I'm hoping it's not going to be me! Will know on the 3rd....

Evening all, Still throwing up I have my booking app with the midwife on fri finaly I have four sets of twins on my side and a set of triplets on dh side,but i already have three dc so hopefully i won't be the one with the twins (fingers crossed) Things have been mad here the kids have such busy social lives Hopefully it will calm down a bit soon.Hope everyone else is feeling ok.

Hello! Just back from booking in appointment. Baby is measuring fine, nice heartbeat, wriggly little fella.. all is well and good in tummyland.

My EDD is (don't laugh kitty)...12th of July!

Widwife was great, she's a pro at bloods! She laughed at my wee sample in the pickle jar with my name in sharpie on the label. I was given a big bag of catalogs, and books for the parentcraft classes and some free stuff. This is so cool, I felt like a star!

So I go back on the 28th for 15+5 week scan. Phew! Merry Christmas to the McChesers!
