bealcain · 11/12/2007 21:56

kitty - hugs huni, thoughts with you tongiht, hope you manage to rest.

hatrick- have you had your dates confirmed? you could be further along and they also say that with subsequent pg's you can feel them earlier. i was in bath the other day and thought i felt movement that or twins

hello kezza - congratulations

PPP - dont mean to sound sceptical and keep contradicting you (honest) [sorry emotion] but are you sure it;s HB and not the placenta you can hear, it took my MW ages to differeniate with ds2......

paulaplumpbottom · 11/12/2007 21:57

bealcain · 11/12/2007 21:59

I don't have a doppler

bealcain · 11/12/2007 22:01

hatrick - you never know you may be further along than you think then. with subsequents it reduces by 10 - 14 days, down to 14wks

bealcain · 11/12/2007 22:02

To those with Dopplers, which brand do you have?
Any recommendations?

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 11/12/2007 22:33

hatrick - you are not alone
i said this last time and mentioned it to a friend who had 4 she said yes 10 weeks
3 days ago i felt this movement
then again later - a few times since = dp says it is wind but i KNOW its not...it tends to be when my ( too tight) trousers are digging in - when i am kneeling leaning forward etc. I know my body ( been pg enough times!)
its true I am only 9-3 by my dates a bit more by lmp but i know its the baby flipping. I told a mw last time and she frowned so i shall keep it to myself but i know!

Kitty- thinking of you tonight but really thinking positive thoughts - i feel like it is all good. sleep a few hours without bleeding will make you feel much better x

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 11/12/2007 22:37

bealcain yes i am very sure the hb is 175 today
my dp works in healthcare too so he might frown a bit if i said i could here an adult Pulse or uterine artery!
i have heard it for 3 weeks now
sometimes takes a good 10 minutes to find but last week or so just a minute...
i bled and find it a great help - i am a worrier

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 11/12/2007 22:38

whoops hear

isaidhohoho · 12/12/2007 07:59

hatrick - I am 11 weeks (3rd baby) and I keep feeling movements - or it could be wind!

Hey PYBF..halfway through the week..well done us!

bealcain · 12/12/2007 08:10

morning all - kitty how you feeling today hun? anymore bleeding?

PY - that's really good you can find it, ever thought of being a MW? i wish mine could find it at that gestation! lol

hope everyone is ok this morining, i've got them wierd paind again today. think they must be growing pains as no blood or anything untoward. seeing MW today so we'll see what he (yes he!!) says.

also this is abit random but with the other 2 my hair stopped falling out and this time it hasn't. i just mean like when you wash your hair and run your fingers through, loads comes out still, i;m not going bald or anything. but am i just trying to find something that tells me i'm having a pink one this time?

paulaplumpbottom · 12/12/2007 08:45

Good Morning Ladies!!!!

Kitty are how you this morning?

Jodiew79 · 12/12/2007 08:48

Morning all..

Bealcain, I'm the same, my preg is very differentt his time and I'm hoping mines a pink one this time.. I feel sick all the time and my hair is still falling out too.... Only have to wait anoth 9 weeks to (hopefull) find out, if the little bugger plays ball! (or has got them for that matter!)

As for last night's posts, I keep feeling movement too, but put it down to wind, maybe it is, but it feels the same now as it did when I was 24 weeks with DS, just a little flutter every now and again! If it is, how exciting!

Also just realised that by my calculations I am 10 weeks today, so 1/4 of the way through woooh!!

imdreamingofawhiteKITTYmas · 12/12/2007 09:08

No bleeding after the brown stuff at about midday yesterday so thought all was well, but have just been to the toilet and there was about a teaspoonful of brown gunk in CM (sorry TMI I know).

Phoned EPAS and they transferred me to the Maternity ward for advice and I basically got told that if it's brown blood it could be settling down and if it goes red or I get cramps to phone them back, EPAS have no appointments!

Am going to see GP today and going to beg him to try and fast track me for a booking scan for the MWs next week.

Told maternity ward that I only had brown blood last time and was scanned and the baby wasn't measuring waht it should and it was dead. Didn't have red blood and pain until I was actively mcing.

Right must go jump in shower before GP appointment.

Jodiew79 · 12/12/2007 09:11

God how horrible. I'm so sorry to hear that. Good luck at he doctors. all fingers and toes crossed for you xxx

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 12/12/2007 09:49

Good luck today Kitty - hope everything works out OK. Will check back later. I have everything crossed for you. Love Soph xxxxxx

paulaplumpbottom · 12/12/2007 10:28

I hope everything goes well at the GP's office.

It was that way with me to. I always had the brown gunk before I started bleeding red and having clots.
