Morning Everyone..another morning here we go again..wish me luck I'll be back tonight to catch up.

bealcain · 06/12/2007 07:47

good luck mcchesers.

my ds2 really played me uplast night, sleep wise. i've been up since 3am, shattered is such an understatement. having really bad crampy pains too, but i'm back to my normal pregnant clumsy slef as i fell down the stairs this morning

Thepuddingchef · 06/12/2007 09:05

Hello ladies....sorry I don't post as much as you guys..and by the looks of things I am certainly not the only one to be suffering with ms and tiredness. My dh called me fat and lazy last night......I think he was joking but many a true word etc....
I have a noticable bump too, but I think it has a lot to do with the couple of inches of excess fat i'm carrying round, unlike most of you svelt like things!
I have a scan booked for 9th Jan....which is just too far away. I am panicking so much that something is wrong....just need some reasurrance.
Well it's raining like cat and dogs here....ds is still asleep (yeh) and i'm going to attempt breakfast....hope you are all feeling ok soon and of course to those who haven't had the pleasure of ms....long may it stay that way!

Jodiew79 · 06/12/2007 09:55

Morning guys. ANyone about? I'm supposed to be 'working from home' but there is about as much chance of getting anything done as there is peace in the Middle East! Just scrolling down the last few messages and I'm glad that everyone seems to look and feel crappy! I'm comforted in the fact! When do we 'Bloom?'

Scan on 18th I can't wait! Have to take DS with us, hope he doesn't get bored and DH misses out on stuff!

EEC · 06/12/2007 10:09

I didn't bloom at all with either of the other 2. Looked tired and spotty all the way through, and my hair was awful. I think it's all a big lie!

Very jealous of all these people having scans. I've got to wait until Jan 2nd, and I'm not even seeing my midwife for booking in until 12th Dec. I'll be 9 1/2 weeks. Does anyone know if they try to hear a heart beat at that time? I'm desperate to know there's someone in there!

twinkle1 · 06/12/2007 10:09

Mornning all,
Im sooo sick of throwing up!!! even have a bucket in the car now
Hope everyone else is not feeling to bad
Twinkle

Jodiew79 · 06/12/2007 10:16

EEC, no they don't try for a heartbeat at the booking Appt unfortunatly. I know how you feel, other than feeling rough (and DS getting up at 5.30 for the last 3 mornings hasn't helped!) I keep forgetting that I'm pregnant, I'm desperate to see/hear something. I just keep reminding myself that I haven't had a period since September, so something must be up! and to top it all off, my trousers are getting tight!

I haven't actually been sick, but I kinda wish i had coz then maybe I'd stop feeling so bad! (like when your drunk)

EEC · 06/12/2007 10:25

It does feel a bit like a perpetual hangover (without the pleasure of the drink unfortunately) - I feel nauseous and exhausted on and off all the time, haven't been sick either but sort of wish I could be. I'm just eating constantly to keep nausea at bay (so of course my trousers are getting uncomfortable too!)

Feel guilty now as I know I'm so much better off than all of you poor people who are constantly vomiting, or who can't eat at all.

Jodiew79 · 06/12/2007 10:43

Oh well I suppose it's all our own fault!! Is it too early to eat Revels?

EEC · 06/12/2007 10:48

perfect time for eating revels, or indeed crunchies.

Jodiew79 · 06/12/2007 10:53

Well I have had my breakfast I suppose. They are nice

minFrostytheSnowman912 · 06/12/2007 10:58

Sorry sick ladies, didn't mean to gloat in my hunger last night, it was just so nice to feel merely crap rather than utterly grim like I did on Tuesday... I look like s**t if that helps, greasy hair, spotty face and the darkest bags under my eyes since I actually did used to go out socially...

Jodiew79 · 06/12/2007 11:04

Remind me why we are putting ourselves through this again???? I also keep having pregancy brain moments, where I just go completely stupid and can't remember what I'm doing or saying!

From what I remember last time, it does get better after 12 weeks. (hopefully)

shortshafe · 06/12/2007 11:28

yum....crunchie. May have to go to the shop now!

I'm joining the ugly club - grey skin, greasy hair, lots of spots, sore (.)(.) and bump appeared overnight - don't fit in any of my jeans and have to go shopping for maternity stuff now. People just think I'm getting fatter as I'm def not slim and svelte! Great. When I was pregnant with dd, several friends thought I had some awful illness - many knowing glances when I confessed at 12 weeks

Jodiew79 · 06/12/2007 11:44

I told everyone straight away last time, I kinda had to as i was a 'Trolly Dolly' and had to be grounded straight away, and everyone was asking too many questions. But this time I've kept my mouth shut (mostly) it's been so hard, esp when I've cried off meeting friends as I feel worse in the evenings and just want to curl up in bed. I hope that they understand when the cat comes out of the bag next week.

sweetkitty · 06/12/2007 11:54

Not feeling too bad today, busy morning poasted Christmas cards away, bought a new baby present for a friend, some more Christmas cards and some bag things. Feel like I am finally getting a bit sorted for Christmas now.

santascRUMPELedsuit · 06/12/2007 12:10

Hi All,

SWEETKITTY - I used to live in the 3 Towns (as a teenager) then moved to Largs and we recently moved to Stirling, which I love but I just don't know anyone yet. I take it you no longer live in sunny Irvine then?

EEC - do no be fooled. Vomiting does not make the feeling go away, like a hangover, the nausea it still there after you puke.

I too invested in a new bucket for this one. haven't actually vomited yet but been very close. My sense of smell is returning now after the cold and I am smelling that 'onion' type smell that always seems to permeate when I am pg.

I have not tried Starburst sours sweets but I found last time that these wee boiled sweets called SOURZ you can but in woolies realy helped. I used to suck them in class so I wouldn't barf on my students!

We have got workmen in at the mo' and the smell is horrendous full of nasty chemicals.

I find that I cannot stand the heat when pg - it makes me feel much sicker. Me and Dh are in seperate beds (already) as I am a human furnace at night, even though I sleep in the buff, with no heating on and a 4 tog duvet I am still roasting!!

My skin isn't too bad so far, and my hair I coloured yesterday in anticipation of it looking dull and dreach. I will begin to get some exercise when the ms lifts a bit to make myself feel better. I have a thirst that just will not be quenched just now though. Back to melon and cokctail cherries for me All the craving form last time have come back really quickly this time!

Well have a lovely day ladies.....xx

EEC · 06/12/2007 12:27

santascRUMPELedsuit - I too feel much sicker when hot, especially in the car when the heating's on.

It's not telling the children that I'm finding really hard, but I really want to wait till after scan. Christams is going to be difficult with no-one knowing - no drinking, general anti social behaviour, looking fat etc. All worth it in the end if everything works out.

As you can tell I obviously have nothing better to do today than look at mn!

FoghornLeghorn · 06/12/2007 13:57

Sweetkitty - just wanted to let you know I graduated. Am now part of August 2008

FoghornLeghorn · 06/12/2007 13:59

Also - Congrats to Hatrick - had no idea you were pg again

paulaplumpbottom · 06/12/2007 14:23

Ok this is day number 4 of not being able to keep down solids. I talked to my OB and he said that was fine as long as I was keeping liquids down. Easy for him to say. I'm starving but everytime I eat it comes back up within 15 minutes. It sucks

MINNIE1 · 06/12/2007 15:12

divvy
I have 2 DD and had a little sickness with them. This time round i am as sick as a dog, went off all foods. Landed myself in hospital for 3 days with dehydration. So i though it was twin or a boy.. Scan proves its not twins TG and will have to see if it's a boy in the next scan...

I can't remember what stage you can find out the sex??

paulaplumpbottom {{{hug to you}}}
Know how you feel, your doing well in keeping it down.
