mellymooks · 30/11/2007 08:34

god preggers brain destroying my grasp of english language I mean 'their" and "posting" of course!

Ambi · 30/11/2007 08:53

Congrats Jarm Gorgeous name too, the Daniels I went to school with were all good looking so it?s always been a fav of mine.

Come on in Nov laydeez, not that you?ll be in here for too long hopefully?.

Actully slept well last night hurrah!! Full of the joys of winter now I guess, done one lot of ironing and must hoover up before I venture out to the Trafford Centre for a movie and a visit to Lush, and maybe MaccyDs!! Made it to the pool yesterday although not a lot of swimming but just bobbing up and down was fab and doesn?t half ease the spine. Baby is pretty cosy inside and don?t think will make an appearance for a couple of weeks but my bump has dropped though.

Good luck Wizz, hope it?s very soon for you?

Wizzska · 30/11/2007 09:16

Still here, waiting for the midwife. Still leaking lots of waters. Getting the midwife to examine me as there seems to be quite a bit of blood mixed in. It is getting to be a pain leaking everywhere. Keep having to rush to the shower and loo and have a good old leak. Sorry if tmi!!

Housemum · 30/11/2007 09:17

Good luck Wizz, hope all goes well

Melly - hormones are a total sod at the mo - I felt like crying yesterday just because my hoover wasn't picking up properly and sat looking at it until DH came in and sorted it out!

Fifi - you remind me of Rachel in Friends where she is in hospital - yelling "she came in after me she can't have her baby it's MY turn next"!!

Ambi - wish I could get the energy to go swimming, but keep finding stuff to do in the house - maybe I'm nesting? Would like to hope so!

Congratulations to Jarm - off to look at pics now...

Bouncingturtle · 30/11/2007 09:22

Hi everyone else and come on in November ladies..

there were about a hundred posts I was going to reply to but my mind has gone completely blank after seeing JARM's little boy

Caz10 · 30/11/2007 10:01

Good luck Wizzska! Very exciting! And congrats to all of you with babies already!

I got let off work one day early for mat leave hoooray!! Have to go for a scan today as they now think baby is NOT head down anymore, aaargh! So boss said just to not bother coming in yipeee! Don't think LO is breech, but has def popped out and they are mentioning sections...

Laughing at your post Cazzybabs, it is so hard to leave school isn't it?! I was in this morning talking to the supply teacher and the head had to practically throw me out!! I'm sure I will switch off from it as soon as LO makes an appearance.

Thank you for the link to Jarms thread, so exciting, and her wee one is gorgeous! Not long ladies, not long...!

cazzybabs · 30/11/2007 10:07

Wizzska - how exciting....hopefully it will come tomorrow so it can be the first proper Dec baby!!!!!

No signs of anything here! Which is just as well as I am out for dinner tonight! Am now getting slighty stressed with all the hastles of what to do with 2 small children while I am in labour (especially if it happens at the weekend)...it is all sorted my MIL is on standby but never the less I want to happen at night so we don't need her (If I can have my homebirth!)

suey2 · 30/11/2007 10:11

good luck wizzska!

OHHH did you see Awen is in labour (with her dh in Japan and not due back till tomorrow)....keep those legs crossed girl! I think she has gone in to hospital...

skidaddle · 30/11/2007 10:22

oh I was just about to post about that too cazzybabs - hope her DP makes it back from Japan in time...

skidaddle · 30/11/2007 10:23

gosh it's getting really exciting now...

can everyone promise to try and log on and tell us when they think they're in labour - it's so much more exciting that way!!!

Wizzska · 30/11/2007 10:32

Still here, leaking a little less. Contractions have stopped . Hopefully I'll get going before 10.00 tonight when the hospital will want me to go in for antibiotics and induction. Think I might refuse induction and just ask for a jab of antibiotics.

Hope Awen is ok.

oh no wizz - so how long has it been since your waters first broke then? Don't they usually wait 72 hours before inducing? How are you feeling - maybe a long walk/bouncing if you're OK? is your DH there with you?

skidaddle · 30/11/2007 10:38

you could also start a thread in childbirth if you want some expert advice about ABs and induction?

mixedmama · 30/11/2007 10:42

Wizz - def go for a walk (if u feel you can what with the leaking). So exciting.

About to have a good look at Awens thread.
