Hello and congratulations, lovely lot.

It's been a bumpy road so DP and I aren't telling anyone until late September. But I need to talk to someone!!!

Vaccine is allowed at any time during pregnancy, not sure where you got from 14 weeks from but it’s false info @FinnsMammy

Some women are choosing to wait until after 12 weeks but it is safe and recommended to do it whenever, hope that helps?

I’m very stressed 😫 @alvaryder my kids are back at school next week and there’s literally no protection for them to not catch it. We’re being fed to the dogs!

@Staryflight445 I’m in the Republic of Ireland here you cannot get it before 14 weeks or after 36 weeks pregnant apologies I thought it was a world wide thing must just be in Ireland.

@Staryflight445 I understand your fear. My partner is a secondary school teacher and my son is starting school next week. I'm double vaccinated (as I'm an old bird) but it's terrifying.
I hope you manage to get one ASAP x

Hey everyone hope you don't mind me joining. I've started a May thread as I'm due May 4 but already convinced I'm going to have a April baby. How is everyone doing? I've had major nausea since the beginning

I thought I'd share as I didn't see any in the discussion. My friend share me a group on Facebook I've joined both the April and May groups but if anyone else want to join me in the April group this is the link.

www.facebook.com/groups/136792505268287/

Hope that's okay for me to share. Xx

@maymum94
Thanks for this. Usually when people begin to hit the 10 - 12 week mark the bus makes a Facebook group (that's just a bunch of mumsnetters and not affiliated with any companies which i think this one is that you posted).
I presume that's why there isn't one made yet. Hopefully someone will take up the mantle and create one (who will be our brave tribute?).

My last mn birth group is still going strong 5 years on and the friendships I have from it are incredible so I really hope this group makes one too.

@alvaryder this one was created by a group of mumnetters a friend of mine, they started a little baby program and has small groups and she shared it to me, like I said I thought I'd just share to you ladies it's up to you if you wish to join or not the ladies on my May thread are all joining that one as they are small groups so we're happy to be apart of it.

How is everyone anyway? I'm almost 5 weeks but the sickness is horrible already. Had Hyperemesis with first baby so hoping it's not the same but it's been a rough start

@maymum94 welcome I’m struggling over here with the all day nausea 🤢 so I hear you. Booked a private reassurance scan for Wednesday when I will be 8 weeks so really hoping it’s good news and it will all be worth it ! These early weeks are so nail biting!

@maymum94 group looks great! The more groups and support the better I say! Honestly I'm thinking back to all those long nights awake feeding and how much Facebook groups kept me sane!!

Report
maymum94 · 30/08/2021 18:11

@alvaryder definitely agree I have a 15month old as well and late night feedings is much better chatting and scrolling through the phone. I also joined the breastfeeding support as I'm still breasting my little girl and I will hopefully breastfeed this one too. I think my struggle will be keeping up to my daughter when pregnant as I'm just feeling awful at the moment. I'm in both the April and May as I'm due May but I think I will have another early baby so I'd say I'll be mid April this time. I'm Elizabeth on there to btw Xx
