Hi Scampmum - sorry to hear you're having another tough day. I cried yesterday watching neighbours .

TA and bainmarie - congrats on scan. Maggie (my best friend's name) is great, and DH's top girls name at the mo is Megan.

Peachy- I can't believe you're 24 weeks! I'm only about 14 or something (lost count some time ago). Your ds is going to weaned by the time I get to the hospital!

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 06/12/2007 12:03

I feel really sick.
We had lots of mini chocolate brownies left in the cupboard, so I heated them up and ate them with cream for breakfast, after I ahd eaten a packet of scampi and lemon niknaks.

sagitta · 06/12/2007 12:06

That's quite a breakfast! But according to the april thread nutrition rules, the lemon in the scampi niknaks plus happiness in the chocolate means LO will be very healthy

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 06/12/2007 12:10

Don't forget the calcium in that cream and milk and eggs in the brownies!!

scampmum · 06/12/2007 12:11

you forgot the calcium in the cream and maybe good oils in the nuts? not to mention that chocolate grows on trees so each brownie = 1 of your five a day.

I had a starbucks cheese and mushroom panini as I didn't get a chance for breakfast (always eat it at work as get in at 7.30) until 10.10 and they had taken the toaster away in the canteen - didn't fancy the cold hash browns. £3.75, though! and that's having already splashed out £1.95 for a hot choc at the station as I was early for my train. Have also eaten both satsumas and both apples that I brought in. Oh, and now it's time for lunch!

scampmum · 06/12/2007 12:13

VS - great minds (so now I have to think of an excellent Christmas name!)

EllieG · 06/12/2007 12:15

I am SO glad everyone has a sensible attitude to food here, and understand why chocolate is not just nice, but a healthy essential.

I want a Xmas name but can't think of one. How can EllieG be made christmassy?

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 06/12/2007 12:17

sagitta · 06/12/2007 12:18

Blimey, just looked on pregnancy calculator thing and I'm 19 weeks. That sounds quite pregnant! I'm so used to being really far behind everyone else that I just assumed I was still on a small number...

SuzeM · 06/12/2007 12:20

Santa's ElfieG, maybe?

We are moving next week to Fulham, anyone else around there? I managed to swap to the local NCT classes so that's cool.

Congrats on your girl, ToastAddict. Maggie/Megan is lovely.

SuzeM · 06/12/2007 12:22

Scampmum, good luck for tomorrow and have lots of chocolate today.

And has Lemonaid changed her name or just not been on for ages???

V1KK1M · 06/12/2007 13:00

Hi all. I can totally understand the crying thing at the moment. I am just trying to psyc myself up for a show down with my boss at 4pm. She makes me feel like I am totally incompetent almost all of the time - yesterday I just went home and cried all night.

My problem is that I have to come back to work after the baby and I really enjoy working locally now. I can look for another job but that will mean travelling into the city and wasting anoter hour and a half a day - I just don't know what to do

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 06/12/2007 13:02

Santasnotsolittlehelper is Soph73, I haven't seen Lemonaid around for a while, and the others are correct.

ToastandMincePieAddict · 06/12/2007 13:04

Sorry, I did know it was Soph, just got it wrong when I typed!

Too much thinking today....

TLSM · 06/12/2007 13:21

I'm still me but you know that now anyway! am going to think of a christmas name! Maggie is my niece's name i wasnt sure about it when they named her but now I love it!

cant wait till tomorrow as dont work Fridays saying that i have only worked yesterday and today roll on 31st March as it looks like I will be induced on the 14th April so will leave work 2 weeks before just need to get it confirmed my the consultant which means I will have by little man in 18 weeks how scary and peachy you yours in 16 its going so quickly

Sheds75 · 06/12/2007 13:32

TLSM, that really is quite scary , that means my little man shoudl be ready to join us in about 16 weeks (EDD 2nd April)

santagitta · 06/12/2007 13:59

Hi Scampmum, if you're there. Just writing to wish you luck for your meeting...try to save the tears for later, if you can. Otherwise, pretend you got something in your eye good luck!

Sheds75 · 06/12/2007 14:13

Calling all Tube users..... I've just been looking around some of the other threads and found this

www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/newscentre/4115.aspx

thought it may be or use to those based down south

scorpio1 · 06/12/2007 14:38

i get to go home in 50 mins, wahoo!

northfeastmummy · 06/12/2007 14:51

Scampmum - good luck with your scan tomorrow. I can so empathise with your tears - I was exactly the same yesterday. I am SO relieved today. Everything was fine with our scan and all bits were in the right place. Our hospital doesn't tell gender so I have to wait for my private scan in January for that. What is your DS risk? I'm not sure I know about that?

Toast - I loved it when we were finally able to call our DD "she" when we had our gender scan last time round. It makes such a difference - I know it's not everyone's preference but it works for us.

MassiveMollyfloss · 06/12/2007 14:51

Hi everyone,

I've just looked through all the messages of the past few days. A lot to catch up on. We moved early this week and I have been running around like a lunatic.

SuzM: I live in SW London and I'm signed up for NCT classes somewhere near the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital which is where I'm giving birth.

We have pretty much chosen a name for our little girl. It's 'Ailish'. I really like it but you can all be honest on what you think. I'd love some feedback. Irish people know tha name well but it's not well known elsewhere.

northfeastmummy · 06/12/2007 14:52

scorpio - I'm very envious . I'm just out of a 2 day training course and now have heaps to catch up on!
