She could be Bea or Trixie for short.

dp is apparently calling Tayla 'Taye'. We are stuck on middle names though! Maybe Millie, Jessica, Chloe, ..... 316 words done so far!

EllieG · 04/12/2007 09:31

DSD's name is Jessica, so am bit biased to that. But Millie and Chloe are very cute too.

My sis pointed out that can't give baby middle name with an A, E or an O really if called B as surname is Davies.

Peachy · 04/12/2007 09:32

Scorpio- very close to our DD choice which was Taya-Rose (although that came from Thea, was how DS3 pronounced it).

Beatrix is also nice, my Nan had the name Beatrice so its one that makes me smile.

FINALLY have a MW appointment tomorrow, at just over 24 weeks (she was too booked up before so apart from early apt at 10 weeks have had nothing), I never had a reply to my letter to the hospital about the homebirth so we shall see if she ahs any comeback for me.

Can't believe baby is now aproaching viability stage- yay! And Uni are putting on special measures for my alst rpesentation (like I won't know after 4 if I am in labour for a 20 minute rpesentation LOL), so that should be OK_ annother woman in my group is pG also but due the DAY of finals- far harder! At least I can BF and read before my exams. Finding getting the motivation to do my dissertations hard though (plan to start typing later today- done essay plans etc), was going to go to liverpool to a specialist museum but thats off the cards unless my back / hips improve as even the local post office is nigh on impossible atm.

Not sure whether to raise SPD with the MW tomorrow- on the wary side I dont want to give them any excuse to pull meinto hospital for the birth, on the should side I cant walk more than about 200 yeards (distance to school) unaided so REALLY need a set of crutches to help

scorpio1 · 04/12/2007 09:39

Peachy - my ui si giving me extenuating circumstances- my last assignment before EDD is beginning of march, nything after that as long as i get it in and marked before July (end) i can still pass with the others. it is stressing me though!

Rose is a nice middle name.....Tayla Rose C....

Peachy · 04/12/2007 09:45

Lucky sod! my last assignment is when I am just over 38 weeks , but the Professor cant claim he didnt know should i go into labour- he lives next door, homebirth planned, terrace and no double glazing or soundproofing PMSL!

Rose IS nice- I alwsys said I'd ahve 3 girls and name them Rosie, Scarlett and Summer- then I married some bloke called Mr Peach and had boys. Oh well then

scorpio1 · 04/12/2007 09:48

Nice dd names.

i always wanted dds when i was younger, but then i had ds1 and didnt mind, but ds2 i really wanted a girl. this baby i didnt mind, but guessed (!) it was a boy, and that was cool.

I would like to have a little boy called Dexter.

Sheds75 · 04/12/2007 09:54

Morning All, lovley names you guys are thinking of. We just cannot decide on anything we both like. At the moment we have a list of Callum, Thomas, Alfie and Olaf (my DP mum is of scandanvaian background). I thought he was joking when he mentioned Olaf, apparently not...... am working on that one

scorpio1 · 04/12/2007 09:55

if you like 'O', what about Otto? SO cool!

Peachy · 04/12/2007 09:57

Yeah nivce names- Rosie Peach

LOL

Sumemr Peach- ah the new air freshener range from airwick.....

Life eh?
I like Dexter, DH would never have gone for it, he was being very awkward indeed this time around- bit much as he had free choice over Stirling, and DS3 is named after his Dad

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 04/12/2007 10:05

Morning all. scorpio - we´re calling him Sam. Rose is a lovely name. northfeastmummy - I was absolutely bricking it before my scan so don´t worry we´re here to hold your hand Ellie - congrats on girl (may have said that already!)

Peachy · 04/12/2007 10:22

Sam, of course, (being ds1's name,) is exceedingly good a a reflection of excellent parental taste LOL

scampmum · 04/12/2007 10:29

I like Otis but DH wouldn't have it as he's an architect and he and all his mates instantly think of lifts!

Think we are settled on Isla for a girl, probably Isla Katherine.

LOVE Dexter.

scampmum · 04/12/2007 10:30

...although with a mum from Pompey (Portsmouth) she can't marry anyone called White/(Wight)...

scorpio1 · 04/12/2007 10:32

hands off the Dexter everybody!!!!

pmsl peachy!!!! i didnt know your surname was Peach!

EllieG · 04/12/2007 10:34

I like Rose, but is my middle name. Love Isla - I might steal that to go on my short list with Bella. Short list is very short as we keep taking them off when we get bored of them and can never agree. At this rate will just be called 'Girl'. Was going to call her Cerys but after I'm a celebrity it seems a bit tacky now and have gone off it.

northfeastmummy - good luck lady! Will be fine x

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 04/12/2007 10:42

Scorpio - how exciting, 150 quid for yourself. My Dad always gives me 100 quid for my birthday & Christmas. This year some of it´s going on new shoes as don´t have any winter ones & need them now it´s cooled down

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 04/12/2007 10:45

Peachy - of course we have excellent parental taste being the spectacularly brilliant parents that we are Someone remind me I said that when DS1 hits the teenage years

scampmum · 04/12/2007 10:46

Such a shame about Cerys! Is a really pretty name but I would have the same issues - saw her with her bum out on the NOTW on Sunday. Are you too young to remember that she actually used to be quite cool?

Mrs Peachy Peach I would use your discretion with mentioning the SPD - try and gauge what they will do! I think (?? definitely needs verification) you can get crutches from hospital A&Es? or ebay? ;)

scorpio1 · 04/12/2007 10:47

please dont mention teenagerhood. i m going to have 4 of them AT THE SAME TIME.

Can i run away?

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 04/12/2007 10:47

It´s funny you know, I don´t "feel" pregnant at all today. My rock solid tummy has completely disappeared from yesterday & I feel quite normal - apart from looking like a beached whale obviously

scampmum · 04/12/2007 10:49

ps I am getting cash from Mum and Dad (separately so more - love those divorced parents... ;)) - I was going to put it towards the spare bed we need to get. Maybe I'll get them to veto stuff for the house too (and not tell them it'll mean they have to keep sleeping on the futon and not being able to get up... not together, naturally)!

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 04/12/2007 10:49

scorpio - there are some rather nice people who live in Gran Canaria I believe who would be more than happy to put you up 4 at once, doesn´t bear thinking about does it

scorpio1 · 04/12/2007 10:50
