I know what you mean by expensive, just tryin to butter up dh before i tell him the actual price...He still tryin to get his head around getting rid of the beloved family car and replacing it with a 7 seater!!

VictorianSqualor · 03/12/2007 07:59

Lol gemprincess, DP is fine about my wanted Loola, but the idea of selling his BMW sport is driving him crackers, it wouldn't surprise me if he turned up with a new car just for the kids at some point before April. I've told him he has until then to get it sorted (3 car seats won't fit in the back of the BMW, plus it's a coupe so it would be a nightmare getting in and out)

welcome all Newcomers and good luck to all Scanees

ToastandMincePieAddict · 03/12/2007 11:16

Oh Denny, surely you were just being terribly clever? (in a Groundhog way...)

Scorpio - are you an eBay girl? I've never done eBay before, but am planning on getting exactly the same buggy as you and was having a look on t'internet this morning - you can get brand-new-in-box for £350!!!!

Congrats on all the recent scans

scorpio1 · 03/12/2007 11:19

Sheds - maybe baby nestling down in there? Millie does - the sonographer said shes naughty

Toast - love ebay, you can get the package i want - buggy, carryot and car seat BNIB for £400, (£100 cheaper than shop) but im reluctant to hand over that amount of money without seeing it, iyswim? At least if its motherare it isnt far to sort out any issues, warranty, etc. would rather pay extra for peace of mind.

EllieG · 03/12/2007 11:19

I am getting lots of hip pain - think it just pregnancy ligaments doing their thing - try sleeping with a pillow between your knees - really helps me.

ToastandMincePieAddict · 03/12/2007 11:20

I have been having braxton hicks for a week or so, everything goes hard, but no pain (I'm 20+2)

Felt definite kicks on Friday night
And dh felt then too, he is over the moon

Sooooo exciting!!!!!

EllieG · 03/12/2007 11:23

SO jealous! I want some kicks too. How fab

ToastandMincePieAddict · 03/12/2007 11:24

Know what you mean scorpio, every buggy I look into, there is always someone who has problems i.e. the wheels fall off so I will probably end up buying brand new, from a proper shop, too....

Does anyone know if Mothercare or Babies R Us (or similar) have Christmas sales?

scorpio1 · 03/12/2007 11:25

ooh i dont know but we are doing baby shopping in jan so hoping they do.....

I have just looked at my scan report and my placenta is on the front wall, but high. She still kicks massive though! she has definite awake and sleep times too.

paranoidmummy · 03/12/2007 11:29

they do toast but for the clothes they may be a bit warm for when our lo's arrive? i'm going to try to pick up some bargains tho...

has anyone ever bought a buggy from twoleftfeet.com? they have fantastic bugaboo packages so think i'm going to buy from there but wanted to check noone has any horror stories first!

yay on kicks too toast . mine is a huge kicker too - i was half expecting to be told i was about 10 weeks further ahead when had my scan !!! i wasn't getting kicks like this til about 30 wks with ds.

i am sooooooooooooooo excited about having a bubby suddenly! Touch wood i am finally losing a bit of my paranoia and starting to believe i will be having a baby at the end of this.
