Scan was all good....and it's a .....GIRL!

Scanning lady was a grumpy cow and I was nearly in tears she made me so nervous - wouldn't talk until she had finished - told me 'I need to concentrate, I can't answer questions until I've done the measurements' etc, but I don't care cos LO was fine and had all the right bits in the right places and I am SO relieved

I can't believe how many grumpy sonographers there are out there. Surely it must be a lovely job in the main? Although I suppose it's always different when you're actually doing it. It is such a shame they forget how exciting it is for all the Mummy's to be though.

I hadn't thought about looking at the December board but I suppose it must all be happening there too now! That'll make my Friday afternoon a bit more bearable - it was just starting to get a little bit slow.

Hi Mama2peanut - I'm Scottish too! We went to Livingstone for a gender scan with DD. It was a lovely experience compared to the standard scans - happy people, WARM gel ... I loved it. There's a private scanning clinic opened in Aberdeen now (I can't remember the name of them at the minute) so we won't have to travel so far this time.

That's a great idea about putting the envelope under your tree. I probably won't go for my gender scan until January so will have to think of something equally exciting to do with ours!
