Have DS, 13 months. Stopped bf in Oct and immediately got pg but was chemical preg which I lost at 5 weeks. Now got BFP today, very excited. Quite faint line but definitely a line.

Anyone want to join?

FoghornLeghorn · 06/12/2007 13:49

I've been in the waiting room sarah
That's right Shazza - we were the same.

BFP today, day 42, loads of BFN's before now so no idea when I actually conceived, although I ov'd really early in cycle according to OPK's. Working by 1st day of last cycle EDD is 1st August.
We have 2 DD's, DD1 is 3 and DD2 turned 1 last week.

Hi everyone [wave]

sarahnh · 06/12/2007 15:08

you are very brave foghorn, with 3 little one under 4!!! I have been thinking about my cycles and taking to my step daughter who is training to be a midwife... i have had two very long cycles of 36 days before bfp...

The last cycle was very weird in that I had spotting on cd9-12 and then when af arrived on cd36 it was its usual self!!! My dsd thinks that i maybe further along that what i think ( here hoping) but know my luck i am not!! xxxx

sarahnh · 06/12/2007 15:09

sorry my spelling is awful. i meant to say AF wasn't its ususal self and appologies for all the other errors! x

ChaCha · 06/12/2007 15:13

Hello everyone

IlanaK - Sorry to hear about the bleeding but hopefully is short lived. My friend had bleeding with both her pregnancies and both DC are just fine. Fingers crossed for you x

LOL at going to bed in the afternoon with toddler and not waking till DH's return, this used to happen to me when i only had the one....those were the days! Still no m/s but terrible tiredness and cramps,i just want to sleep.

Went to GP today, she told me to make a booking appt on way out with her, but when i made booking appt the receptionist made it with the m/w, do you think I need to call them, or no big deal - or perhaps, better to see m/w anyway?
See midwife January 8th when i'll hopefully be 9wks and GP has sent away for dating scan which i assume will be end of January.

Anyone else eating for England? I feel a little to even mention what i had for lunch...

ChaCha · 06/12/2007 15:16

Yup, i agree, brave woman! I will have 3 under 3 when this one arrives and i haven't a clue what life will be like....

kaz33 · 06/12/2007 15:34

Wow, mine seem like OAP's in contrast. I hardly managed 2 under 2, let alone 3 under 3

Well part of me is a little envious, my two are such a gang now with two years between them - imagine how much fun three will be.

iliketojinglethembells · 06/12/2007 16:56

I got my first booking with the midwife today for the 3rd of jan, hopefully i will be nearly 9 weeks gone by then and will get my first scan after 10 weeks so its all good

becaroodolf · 06/12/2007 18:18

Not much to say...just wanted to try out my xmas nickname

Feel very tired...I think work will be a struggle for a while.

Just waiting for the nausea to take a hold.....

JoanWilder · 06/12/2007 20:08

so its only me puking for england then!
am typing this holding my nose as dh is frying bacon downstairs yuck yuck
doctor has tried me on two anti-emitics now but neither of the damn things works so I am going to wing it... everyone keeps telling me not to worry about it/dwell on it, but I can't help it! I am vomiting before and after every meal...and every meal I make for dd. Boo to morning sickness

mum2b1 · 06/12/2007 20:15

Hi everyone, I am due august 2.
So excited. First pregnancy.
Hope and prey all goes well.
Been having period like pains almost constantly along with feeling sick.
My legs are starting to ache sometimes now too.
Totally dont mind any of it though - means my little one is growing well
xxx

iliketojinglethembells · 06/12/2007 20:34

when my midwife phoned me today i mentioned i had period pain type cramping and she told me it is completely normal and nothing at all to worry about its just all the ligaments and muscles stretching ,making room for baby

ChaCha · 06/12/2007 21:15

Mum2b1: Congratulations! I remember how exciting it was being PG with my 1st (not that i'm not excited now of course) and how much time I spent on the ante-natal thread back then (and we are still going strong). Nostalgia has just kicked in...DH massaging my aches and pains, long baths, dinner being cooked after standing on train home from work...reading every new stage of development in the Queen Charlotte's book...ahhhh Those were the days!

JW: I will most probably be joining you soon, my m/s kicked in big time around week 5/6 and it was awful - you have my sympathies. The only thing that got me through my last PGs was coke...poor babies!

My DC are both in bed so early night for me - yay!!! Last night they were both sick and I was jumping from one bed to another...looking forward to a few hours of kip alone. Restful nights everyone x

gigglegirl · 06/12/2007 22:20

hi,
can i join.
Positive test but been sick for 10 days now and lost half a stone (I won't miss that!) My friends have guessed but DH doesn't want to tell anyone till 12 weeks this time which will be a NIGHTMARE as I am being sooo ill all the time plus have christmas nights out, the day itself, DH birthday and my birthday to get through! Think I am due 12/08 Already have DD aged 4 (July) DS1 aged 2 (March) and DS2 aged 1 (July) I must be insane as we run our own business too! Never felt this sick with the other three, can't keep anything down except black tea and plain bread and even that is hard! Anyway nice to be able to chat about it as dying to tell my friends!

Hope everyone ok.

Speak soon, got to dash off again......{blush}

mum2b1 · 06/12/2007 22:24

Congrats Gigglegirl!

Shazza2002 · 07/12/2007 08:36

How is everybody feeling today?. I don't feel as tired and only other real sympton is sore (.)(.) so was thinking I was no longer pregnant. But did a test and I am. The things we put ourselves through ah

Going to see Take That tonight, so sods law I bet the tiredness decides to come back just when I don't need it too

morning everyone, how are we all? Its great to see foghorn and twilight here and everyone else who i don't know!!!

I have been trying to work out my edd but really have no idea...I'm like you shazza i keep testing to be on the safe side, its costing me a fortune but so worth it!!!

I am quite crampy and feelin a little queasye every now and again but i think ( hope) its just hunger... i had no ms with dd and i am praying it won't happen this time xxxx

TwilightSurfer · 07/12/2007 12:51

Sarah I'm guessing at my EDD right now but feel pretty good about my estimate. Just guess. When would you like to deliver . If you have a clear AF start then the math is 282 days after is the delivery date. Since my MC was 29 days ago and I BDed 12 days ago it's almost like I've had "normal" cycle...without having a cycle. If you count one day after your last BD and add 282-14 (to account for the pre-o period) then you'll be very close I'm sure.

ChaCha · 07/12/2007 12:56

Afternoon all,

Hello newbies and congratulations

Same here, odd cramp now and then, hungry and tired. Had an early night and a nap now with the DC feeling better.

GiggleGirl - Do you work from home? I have DS1 who was 2 a few days ago and DS1 who will be 10months next week.

I have no maternity clothes having just gotten rid of them all last month, good job i kept some baby clothes!!

mum2b1 · 07/12/2007 14:30

Hiya,

Start of 7th week now.
Feeling quite crappy today.
Was just at Tesco and suddenly felt like crying while wandering the aisles - that happen to anybody else?
Hungry, feeling sick, cramps, tired, weary - the lot!!

gigglegirl · 07/12/2007 14:48

Afternoon everyone!

Well not the best of days so far. Mean to be doing housework!

Had my friend who had her first about 6 weeks ago round, she has PND so was trying to give a good view of family life within the chaos of what currently passes for home!

Then cooked a pizza and even managed to eat two pieces. Then disaster, more sickness, rest of pizza destroyed, 15 min whilst entire body convulsed over toilet! Think I may just give up on food altogther, although energy level is low at the best of times!

Ho Hum I'll get through it - never felt like this with the other three - hope it's not a bad sign. Felt sick and was occassionly ill but not this never ended stuff.

Cha Cha - yes sometime work form home or my Mum and Dads which is round the corner. and I too got rid of all my maternity stuff and have given lots of baby stuff away to others!

Oh well ebay and freecycle have been my bestfirends since DD was born so no change there!

sarahnh · 07/12/2007 16:01

thanks for the info twilight.. i guess i am trying to figure out if is possible that i concieved last month!!! My cycles have been very irregular... also dh and I have been bd'ing lots and lots so the last time we did, i was already preg! ..

I'm so sorry you are feeling so bad gigglegirl, tho they say the more sickness the healthier the pregnancy ( although it probably doesn't feel like it!!) xxx
