Have DS, 13 months. Stopped bf in Oct and immediately got pg but was chemical preg which I lost at 5 weeks. Now got BFP today, very excited. Quite faint line but definitely a line.

Anyone want to join?

Does anybody else have like an ache down there?.

It's almost like OV pain, but not as sharp. I know there's lots going on in that region at the moment so don't want to worry unnecessarily (sp?).

I keep convincing myself that it's nerves and excitement all rolled into one

Ok so I'm going to be brave and join you.
Spent the last 24 hours in a complete mixture of emotions.
I had a m/c Sept 30th and have found out I'm pregnant again, but am very nervous about it.
Seems theres a few of us in that boat.

It seems the most likely due date is 3rd August, though I will be vague about that to my midwife as I was induced (emc/s) on my dd and would have just liked a few more days for her to come out by herself.

not sure when I'll go near docs as they aren't usually my favourite people

Welcome to our lovely thread.

I am very nervous too. Wanted another baby for over a year, but due to personal circumstances and money and all those other things that get in the way had to wait. Then finally stopped pill in September, wanted to have a 'normal' month to see what my normal cycle would be like and used protection, then fell PG on the 1st month of trying. Now that's why I'm nervous. It's all going as I wanted and I'm just worried that I don't deserve it so soon. Ok I'm sure I wasn't bad in a previous life but just waiting for something to go wrong.

I had 2nd m/c in May this year, was still bf dd and it was abominable, was sick 8 times a day...
was a missed m/c, found out at scan no h/beat so I am terrified of getting a scan,with this one dont know whether to avoid doctor completely till past 12 weeks or what..they are so useless anyway

I have lots of mild achiness down there, short lived like period pain,, I know everything's growing..
apparrently (sp?) our embryos are the size of raspberries already!!

I had my first morning sickness vomit this morning! can't bleieve it's kicking in so soon,,,with dd I was sick until week 27 god help me!!!

It's not really pain as such more an ache. All the things I keep reading say if the pains are quite servear (sp?) It does just feel like AF pains, I can almost feel the stretching. I have docs on Monday, see how I go in next couple of days. I'm sure I'm worrying over nothing though, I hope

Hello girls
Well I've not even done a test yet! But I just feel pregnant. I've had heartburn for the past few days and I feel kind of weird inside and a bit sick. My lmp was 27th October so I reckon my date is 2nd August.
I know, I know, I'm mad. But usually quite intuitive.

Really hope I'm not jinxing things by posting so soon but I'm really excited!! I had an ectopic in April and we've only dared try again a couple of months ago.

Good luck to all you other August mummies - will no doubt be back if I'm in your club

Hello and congrats to all you moms to be! I found out 4 days before my &*^! was due. So my due date is August 1st. I have a Drs appt on 12/11 and i get to get a vag ultrasound which makes me oh so excited because the heart beat should be seen. Im nervous since i have had a miscarriage but i've also had very healthy pregnancies as well. So i am trying not to worry and know that every preg is different. I am much ache in my abdomen all the time which I didn't before. I think I'm having a girl but also have a really weird feeling that I am preg with twins..no they don't really run in our families but it is just a strange feeling...anyone else have those women intutions on what the gender of their baby might be?

I wanted to also say, so sorry for those who have had miscarriages. I know your worry but we must think positive, keep ourselves busy and have faith that everything happens for a reason and to just let life take it's natural course. I've taken 7 prego tests just to make sure the line stays dark. I feel crazy but my friend said not to worry and stress because you create a negative vibe and to let it go.. let it flow..

I think I'm having another girl too. not sure why, it's definitely a feeling.

Although, friend of mine was convinced she was having a boy. Studied ultrasound scans on internet of girls/boys, so when she went for her 12 week and 20 week scans were convinced she saw 'boy bits'. Decided to have sexing scan at 30 weeks, yes you guessed it girl!!

She is so glad she did that as she was convinced it was a boy, so now she is just getting use to the idea

A girl would be good as then it would be cheaper, which probably means I'll be having a boy.

I don't have an ache exactly but a tiny sort of tickle, a little inner itch that can't be scratched.

Also my date guessing is obviously utterly off as if everyone else is due at the beginning of August I can't be due in the middle. LMP - do you mean first day of? - was approx 27 - 28 - 29 Oct and I think I ovulated (oh God what am I doing sharing this on a discussion board???) around 9 - 10 Nov. So copying barrelrider I would be due round 2nd August also?

I'm sorry to everyone who's had a miscarriage. So glad another pregnancy has happened for you now.

Hello all, I am feeling really sick. I keep getting waves of nausea and I am really tired.
JoanWilder - poor you with morning sickness, you will have to get some ginger biscuits and see if they help.
I haven't arranged a booking in appointment, I will have to get in touch with the doctors soon.

Hi - can I join too - got a bfp yesterday - think I am due 6th Aug. This is no 3 as already have a dd and a ds. Am quite excited but a bit apprehensive as already feeling tired but thankfully not sick

Feeling sick today, but not sure if that's anything to do with pregnancy or just that I'm a bit run down at the moment.

It's apparently quite normal to get a bit of a sharp pain from the ovary you ovulated from.

I feel, well weird. I was obviously so excited on Sunday finding out I was PG, and now it's like trying to pass the next 8 months before you get your beautiful baby.

Pains have gone now thankfully, so thinking if there was something wrong I would still have them . Just little twinges which I presume is stretching.

I'm recovering from an upset tummy and still have a chesty cold but the two together just make me feel a bit crud. that on top of the pregancy and I just feel zapped. but it's hard to tell what's what.
I'd been convinced af was coming as I'd had tummy pains and an implantation bleed just before i got my bfp

This waiting's horrid isn't it

hi im a gradute from the aug 06 board

i remember how exciting it was and how ahard it was to excuse my non drinking on my bday and xmas and new year with me being such an alchy

but just to warn you it will be hot hot hot when your preg in the summer so be prepared to do nothing from june and just lie down lol
