Have DS, 13 months. Stopped bf in Oct and immediately got pg but was chemical preg which I lost at 5 weeks. Now got BFP today, very excited. Quite faint line but definitely a line.

Anyone want to join?

Hi Cha Cha - I am still here though not posting much. I am 9 weeks now and symptoms are still bad. I have been lucky to have my dh at home all the last week. But he goes back to work tomorow and I am dreading it as he has been doing all the childcare and stuff. I am trying to phsych myself up to playing with the kids all day when all I want to do is laydown! Luckily, week after next we are going to Centre Parc and will have my dh as well as the in-laws to help out. I am definately looking forward to that!

RachAndFamousNot · 30/12/2007 19:10

Hi please can I join? I am 7+4 due 15 Aug (my mum's birtday). It's my 3rd PG this year after 2MCs so VERY scared, nervous, jumpy, paranoid! Got a booking in apt end Jan and scan for 25th. Oooh I really want it to be Ok this time. Good luck & congratulations to everyone else...

ChaCha · 30/12/2007 19:28

Exactly how i feel Ilana - i do so much with my boys usually and we go out a lot but i am feeling so rough it's a struggle to do the basics at the moment. Good for you getting away, just what you need. DH is back to work tomorrow after taking more than a week off, he could have been working but we were all too poorly to be left alone - have kind of gotten used to him being with the kids while i go up to sleep/be sick etc.. Here's to a good week then eh?

Congrats Rich&Famous Hopefully all will be just fine xx

iliketojinglethembells · 30/12/2007 20:40

hardygirl · 30/12/2007 20:55

OK, wish me luck. Tomorrow is the start of 12 days solid work with 5 on call nights where I might be called into work at any time. Hooray! Currently finding it difficult to walk to the kitchen and back without having to rest on the sofa for half an hour. Goodness knows what I'm going to do with 10 hour plus days.

Lcy · 30/12/2007 21:26

Hi iliketojinglethembells - i am lurking to but will post if i get to 12 weeks. were you iliketosleep on the august thread with me?

CaptainCaveman · 30/12/2007 21:55

Evening ladies - chacha, I can't believe you mentioned slush puppies coz now i want one too!!! OOOOh, a blue one please. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Praying for everyone who is worried/anxious about their pregnancy - (all of us?) - that you may feel peace and happiness.

slush puppyyyyyyyyyyyyy....... [drool emoticon]

CaptainCaveman · 30/12/2007 21:57

pInguin, I trained as a nurse at QE2, moved to Nottingham when I qualified as that's where my dp (now dh) lived. I now work as a District Nurse but do very little clinical work, more operational and strategic management.

Hardygirl - what on earth job makes you do that many hours straight??!!! I'd collapse from exhaustion!

aprilgirl1 · 30/12/2007 22:05

Hi guys, can i join, i am 7weeks and due in august, im excited but scared to death of things going wrong!!!!xx

TwilightSurfer · 31/12/2007 00:39

Well PB I took your idea to heart when I went to the store this afternoon. I ended up with candied prunes but haven't eaten one yet. Walked away from the chocolate just because that would be a pot I'd have to clean. Call me lazy! I downed a glass of half pineapple, half orange juice mixture that I love making. That was about an hour or more ago...you should hear all the rumblings in my tummy. Hopefully tomorrow I'll see some ACTION. LOL! Got to love being enthusiastic over going to the toilet. By the way my DH, I'm sure, is glad I'm sharing this information with you guys instead of him.

Welcome new arrivals. Glad you're here. Also nice to see some of the lurkers dipping their toes in the chat waters. Lcy especially...you need anything just let me know.

Well tomorrow should be busy. We've got company coming over. I've spent the last few hours cleaning up. YUK!! I wish someone would create a CLEANUP BUTTON so all I had to do was click it and the job was done. I'd pay top dollar for it.

If I don't get a chance...Happy New Year!!!!

iliketosleep · 31/12/2007 00:51

yeah lcy i was, you've just rememinded me about name change back now its not crimbob anymore

yup i feel the same, get to 12 weeks and everything should be fine. Its just getting there, the last 8 weeks have flew by but now theres nothing to put my thoughts into its going to drag

TheApprentice · 31/12/2007 09:10

Hi all

Great to catch up with all your news. ~Pointsettia sorry you've been so ill over Christmas. I'm feeling much worse than the last pregnancy - although I havent actually vomited I feel nauseous constantly, am exhausted, very thirsty and am not sleeping properly. Oh the joys! Its wierd how two pregnancies can feel so different.

Christmas was stressful at times, we are not telling anyone yet but wonder if my Mum guessed as I wasnt drinking! Was offered pate at two different houses! And out of the things I can eat I can't face a lot of them. Gone off cheese in a big way, this includes pizza etc.

Got to get the house cleaned now, and ice a cake as it is Ds's first birthday tomorrow and we have friends coming over for drinks and nibbles.

Take care all of you, and Happy New Year!

PoinsettiaBouquets · 31/12/2007 10:04

TS - Rowdy sounds like a wrestler LOL. My DH keeps pushing for Ric as in Ric Flair, WWF's 'Nature Boy.'
Another toilet tip is to put your feet up when you go, just on a little step stool or something. Really relaxes you for some reason, learnt that from my first pregnancy (although constipation came later on for me).

PennyBenjamin · 31/12/2007 10:40

Hardy - god, I don't envy you! I'm feeling so bad today that just the journey into work was torture, but at least all I have to do is sit at a desk all day! Good luck, let us know how you get on.

TS - Rowdy reminds me of Days of Thunder! If you have another boy you could call him Cole!

Well, as I said, definitely the worst day for nausea so far, but no actual vomitting yet, so presumably it can still get worse! Just sitting here staring into space at the moment, hoping it's going to be a quiet day.

stickybean · 31/12/2007 11:54

Ok here goes, Hi everyone!

Got a BFP on xmas day, only tested because i was about to start provera and then clomid, so very cautiously happy.
Just been for an early scan, all looks fine, about 6 weeks gone and even managed to see and hear a heartbeat which i didnt think possible at this stage.
Got another scan in 3 weeks.
Very nervous that writing on here will jinx things, mad i know. But have been lurking so i thought i would come out of the woodwork.

Due date around 24th August.

Anyway, heres to lots of chatting, advice and happy and healthy pregnancy for all of us.

Happy new year,

Stickybean

MollieMooma · 31/12/2007 12:25

Lady of Waffle - thanks

PennyBenjamin · 31/12/2007 12:31

Hey Mollie - how are things?

MollieMooma · 31/12/2007 12:40

Hi, not too bad, still spotting, no pain just taking it easy at the moment, dh is running round like a headless chicken looking after me, bless. Very nervous about scan but hopefully it will be good results.

MollieMooma · 31/12/2007 12:40

PennyBenjamin - how's the MS?

PennyBenjamin · 31/12/2007 12:45

Glad to hear someone is looking after you. Will be thinking of you this week, and best of luck with the scan.

MS has subsided a bit today, although I think I am about to enter the really bad phase. Am almost 6 weeks, and every morning I wake up feeling sicker and sicker. Brushing my teeth is becoming a real trial, as putting the brush into my mouth just makes me gag!

Hope you can keep taking it easy this week, and try not to worry - hope the New Year brings you good news.

PoinsettiaBouquets · 31/12/2007 12:50

Hi Stickybean - good name!
I know what you mean about jinxing things - I idly mentioned cabin beds for DS to my sister and my mum the other day and they got all carried away with plans for my dad to convert one into a really cool actual cabin. Sis texted me about a friend who is selling one but I've had to say no thanks wait til 12wks!

TwilightSurfer · 31/12/2007 13:40

Rowdy does sound a bit like a pro wrestler name. Well DH is a fan AND attempts to do Ric Flair's walk on occassion. Sooo embarrassing. I didn't connect the two when I thought of the name. It just came up in a conversation with girlfriends just after I miscarried...so I wrote it down. DH really doesn't like it. Oh well.

Welcome, Stickybean.

So far no movement with the plumbing. WHAT THE !!!! Day 3!! Why is nature so cruel ?

TwilightSurfer · 31/12/2007 13:50

Oops. Complained too soon. Plumbing's working!!!! YEAH!!!! What a GLORIOUS DAY!!!!
