Have DS, 13 months. Stopped bf in Oct and immediately got pg but was chemical preg which I lost at 5 weeks. Now got BFP today, very excited. Quite faint line but definitely a line.

Anyone want to join?

hardygirl, i'm the same. first time round i was sick as anything. now i'm just dog tired. no sickness. hope all is well have already had one miscarriage.

hardygirl · 19/12/2007 16:32

I'm sure it's all fine - I'm just going to bask in feeling good while I still do. Only difference is bigger boobs - keep seeing work colleagues surreptitiously looking at them and wondering if I've had implants!

PoinsettiaBouquets · 19/12/2007 17:00

Abnormally normal could be good - you might be an early bloomer! (or maybe you're just wearing thicker socks)

SKF · 19/12/2007 17:45

Just a quick one to say hello to all....haven't been on much as been busy at work.

My thoughts go out to you, Becaroodolf.

Been feeling ok lately, but a bit tired. The only thing I'm not enjoying right now is feeling really bloated.

As I am a first timer I have a question. When you all give your figures ie 7+3, do you count from the first day of your last period?

Thanks,S xx

TwilightSurfer · 19/12/2007 18:21

SKF...yes

PoinsettiaBouquets · 19/12/2007 18:22

Yes. It's confusing because normally you'd call that CD1 but now I'm pregnant I'm calling it 0wk+0.
Eg: My AF was due on a Thursday 2wks ago, that was 4wks+0 so I think I am 5wk+6 today and will be 6wks exactly tomorrow (Thurs). You never see for example 36wks+7 in midwife notes so I'm assuming the +0 day is the significant one.
Have I made it even more confusing?

TwilightSurfer · 19/12/2007 18:29

PB 0+1 would be CD1. Are you sure your not six weeks today??

TwilightSurfer · 19/12/2007 18:29

...

TwilightSurfer · 19/12/2007 18:33

0+1 to 1+0 = Week 1
1+0 = CD7
1+1 to 2+0 = Week 2
2+0 = CD14
2+1 to 3+0 = Week 3
And so on....

See it's very confusing.

libraladytistheseasontobejolly · 19/12/2007 18:41

Hi,
Just thought I'd hijack this thread.
If it makes you any happier, up until last Friday week (10+2) I had no symptoms whatsoever (except slightly tender boobs and some tiredness)and was getting quite concerned.
I'm now 12 weeks which was confirmed today at my scan (see piccy on profile) and have only just started with queasiness and MS (mainly gagging only) and my boobs and tummy literally sprouted overnight. Went from a C cup on Friday to a DD on Saturday.
Make the most of it.
Hope all goes well with everyone
Sorry for your news Becaroodolf, but you seem very positive and it's great that you can start trying again straight away.
Take care all
LLxx

TwilightSurfer · 19/12/2007 18:52

Libralady YEAH!! Awesome scan pictures and your lo is a cutie too. Glad you're doing well even with the MS onset. Those are definitely comforting words for those without a lot of symptoms at the present moment.

hardygirl · 19/12/2007 19:02

Libralady - thanks so much. Great pics, I can't wait for my scan now.

warthog · 19/12/2007 19:21

thanks libral for the reassurance.

PoinsettiaBouquets · 19/12/2007 19:40

Ooh, see what you mean, just looked up next year's calendar and my due date is a Thursday! No wonder I've just been sick if I'm 6wks today.

PoinsettiaBouquets · 19/12/2007 19:41

Sorry, I meant my due date is a Wednesday, that's why you're right and I'm not.

JoanWilder · 19/12/2007 19:59

hello y'all I will link yous to my pg planner website which calculates all your dates for you (genius)

Becaroo, to you, I m/c in may this year and now here I am so you will do it no worries.

the HG is a total bitch, cannot believe I have this over christmas; and I am a total food-lover usually,,,I am in such a sulk about not enjoying my food, unbelievable.

my first apt with mw is Jan 8th,,,but on the letter it says the scan will be after that as a seperate apt! how irritating, they used to do it altogether. link coming...

JoanWilder · 19/12/2007 20:01

pregnancy calendar

JoanWilder · 19/12/2007 20:02

oops sorry if all my dates come up on it, just reclick your own in (obviously...)

CaptainCaveman · 19/12/2007 21:02

Aw sorry you're feeling so rough JW - esp if you like your food! Hoping it passes soon for you.

Am feeling much bigger already, can't decide if it's because of pg or if I have subconsciously started training for a pie eating marathon

CaptainCaveman · 19/12/2007 21:08

heehee JW, just clicked on your profile and notice you live in s manchester....and your dd's photo is in the rain!! It ALWAYS rains in Manc!! V cute dd btw

TwilightSurfer · 19/12/2007 22:02

Okay, playing with the dates on JoanWilder's pregnancy calendar my due date is 17AUG as 25NOV was the only BDing therefore must be conception day. Oh well 16AUG, 17AUG, 18AUG who cares just get me close!!

SKF · 19/12/2007 23:20

Good lord, all these abbreviations are very confusing for a first timer!

CD=cycle day?
AF=?
BDing=?

Captain Caveman, I am also feeling enormous. Is this right? I am trying not to eat excessively and snack on fruit and things, but I feel so fat already and it is confusing me.

I can feel my thigh and arse wobbling when I walk and my jeans and skirts are all feeling very tight. If the bean is only bean sized what is causing all this?

TheApprentice · 20/12/2007 07:35

Hi

Have not been on MN for couple of days and just seen your news Becaroo, am so sorry. Take lots of care.

Am feeling quite sick this morning, also more crampy pains and v sore boobs. But Hardygirl don't worry I had no symptoms at all at this stage in my last pregnancy.

We are off to in laws and then my family tomorrow night for Christmas. I'm a bit worried, obviously wont be drinking but don't want anyone toknow yet as it is early days - anyone think of any good excuses coz its v unlike me not to have a drink!

browncat · 20/12/2007 08:31

could you not say you are on antibiotics- that might get complicated as they may ask what for! The other good one- is that you have been partying far too much recently and need to give your liver a rest

i'm feeling so sick this morning! I've already had one breakfast - think i need another xx

TheApprentice · 20/12/2007 08:43

good ideas browncat, although I'm not exactly a party animal so dont think I could use that excuse for more than one day (could say I over indulged the night before!)

Hope you feel better, the sick feeling is so horrid isnt it?
