Have DS, 13 months. Stopped bf in Oct and immediately got pg but was chemical preg which I lost at 5 weeks. Now got BFP today, very excited. Quite faint line but definitely a line.

Anyone want to join?

Updated list will all the wonderful new names. Browncat my date's going to be all over the place for a few more weeks, here's hoping yours stands strong.

Actually the way my luck runs I'll give birth on 14Aug. That's my grandmother's birthday and she's dying right now. My DD had a similar birthing scenario. She was due on my birthday 23AUG but at 1AM on 18AUG my waterbroke...therefore no way around delivering that day. 18AUG is my mother's birthday who had passed seven years prior. So just goes to show you the due date they give means nothing to the little growing inside you. They come out when they want to!!

FoghornLeghorn · 18/12/2007 15:51

Any news from Becaroodolf ?

TwilightSurfer · 18/12/2007 15:53

Not yet.

lewisham · 18/12/2007 16:05

so if i am due 12th Aug I am 6+1? is this correct ??? never was great at maths.

lewisham · 18/12/2007 16:06

TS did you have an ultra sound yesterday?

TwilightSurfer · 18/12/2007 16:20

Yes indeed my scan was yesterday (pic posted in pictures). If you're 12AUG that's only four days off from me so 5+3 plus 4 would be 6+0. It's best to go off last AF though.

FoghornLeghorn · 18/12/2007 16:21

Becaroodolf's not been around at all today, just did a quick search. I hope she's OK.

lewisham · 18/12/2007 16:25

ooh maybe we end up delivering on the same day will let you know on thurs just seen yr scan VERY EXCITING getting goosepimples it is amazing well done.

lewisham · 18/12/2007 16:38

anyone heard anything about Mr wright - Lindo Wing or Mr Teoh looking for a gentle and sensitive man

becaroodolf · 18/12/2007 16:43

Hello all.

Had my scan earlier today and, as I thought, I have lost my baby.

The sonographer was very nice and explained what she was looking for and why (but I really wish she hadnt shown me my empty uterus).

Sorry I am only just posting now, but have been crying on and off all day (which is ridiculous - the scan only confirmed what I already knew)

I also had some bloods taken to measure the level of pregnancy hormone and the nurse is ringing me back with the results tonight, but I may have to have them done again. She is also going to discuss future pregnancies/risk factors etc

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and prayers...I simply cannot tell you how much it has meant to me over the past few awful days.

I wish you all happy, healthy pregnancies. God bless you x

FoghornLeghorn · 18/12/2007 16:48

I am so sorry to hear your thoughts were confirmed Becaroodolf
I really don't have any relevant advice but try and put your feet up and rest as much as possible

Take care x

lewisham · 18/12/2007 16:53

Becaroo I am so so sorry to hear about loosing your baby. You sound very brave not in the leasst bit ridiculous. A horrible thing to go through. sending you all my best wishes for the coming days and weeks.

ChaCha · 18/12/2007 17:11

Becaroo, i'm so sorry, i was thinking of you earlier. In our prayers x

TwilightSurfer · 18/12/2007 17:17

Don't give up if you don't want to!!

PennyBenjamin · 18/12/2007 17:24

Oh Becaroo, I'm so, so sorry. I can't imagine how you must feel. Sending you lots of hugs, and please take care of yourself over the next few weeks. Will be thinking of you.

x

becaroodolf · 18/12/2007 17:47

Just had a call from the EPU nurse....my HCG levels are back to normal levels. She said that this means that I should stop bleeding soon and that the pregnancy probably wasnt viable from the start.

She has told me that we can start trying again whenever I want which surprised me...I thought I would be told to wait.

Anyone know when you are fertile again after mc? (sorry if that sounds crass, but I am a bit clueless about it)

She also said that if I do get pregnant again I can make an appointment straight away with the EPU for bloods and early scans, which would be good/reassuring.

Just cancelled my booking in appointment with the midwife - What an awful, awful day.....

VintageGardenia · 18/12/2007 18:16

becaroodolf I'm so sorry to hear that your fears have been confirmed. It's good news that you don't have to wait before trying again and good news that they will be keeping a close eye on you next time. I thought it was terrible that you had to wait until today, really cruel, and while I don't know you, you have come across as very brave and graceful while you have had to bear this. As you must know, we are all thinking of you. I hope you have lots of people close to you who will look after you over the next while.

warthog · 18/12/2007 19:57

i'm so so sorry to hear your news becaroo.

i believe you can be fertile straightaway. a friend of mine conceived the next month after her miscarriage.

lots of hugs

CaptainCaveman · 18/12/2007 20:37

TS will be along later - I believe she posted that she conceived straight after mc. Really sad to hear your news Becaroo. Praying you will be back on the due Sept/oct thread!

Been to see gp today who was really chuffed for me! She's happy for me to be under care of the mw, and go back to gp at 20 weeks as I need to come off Citalopram then. She agrees my due date is approx 11th Aug given my lmp date and 36 day cycle. Guess we find out for definate at the end of Jan/early Feb. I think time will fly by (or is that hope the time will fly by .

ChaCha · 18/12/2007 20:49

My friend conceived month after MC twice

I got my letter through for 12 week scan (will be 13 weeks) last week of January. Anyone else know when theirs is? And can we have a list?

Finding it very hard at the moment with two little ones. Always feel tired and sick and no rest here whatsoever..cannot believe i am only 6 weeks pregnant and feeling so rough. Can't complain but it is hard, i am looking for part time help, not sure whether to find a cleaner or someone who can care for the DC a few hours of the day...any suggestions?

Anyone else gone right off tea?

pinguin · 18/12/2007 20:49

Hello, can I join? I'm due on 12th August apparently, although I'm not going to believe it's real until I get to that scan in late Jan/whenever they can be bothered to get me in...
