Hi all

CONGRATS Easy! Fantastic- 9 lb must seem so big! Rebecca was 6 lb 13 and still I cant believe she was inside me.

Sparkly, I really feel for you... I am struggling to bf and the mwives told me if Rebecca had been bigger they wouldnt worry. I am now worried she'll have lost too much weight...

Hugs to everyone else.

JARM · 17/11/2007 07:07

YAY Easy.... i knew posting on here at silly o clock would mean another baby!

Welcome to the world Marnie, and WELL DONE on getting the birth you wanted! Please do go ahead and send the letters though, the treatment you recieved was appalling.

Well thats me up for the day, after finally crashing at about 2.30am!

LOM - I am only playing with RGP... its all in good humour (I hope RGP is taking it that way anyway!) and I guess its helping me get through the next few weeks!

RGPargy · 17/11/2007 09:26

Muckers had her gorgeous baby boy Alfie last night. 9.58pm, he was 7lb 11.5oz, he has lots of dark hair. Muckers did a fab job with gas and air and one shot of pethidien, Mum & baby are both well.

I won't get to meet him yet!

good luck to all of you still waiting.

littleoldme · 17/11/2007 11:29

JARM - I know you guys are only playing I was too, although It may not have across like that. Mmmm perhaps I should avoid posting at 3.30 in the morning
Have a lovely day one all.

sparklygothkat · 17/11/2007 11:37

SOmeone said yesterday at BF clinic that if I wasn't so bloodly-minded, I would have swopped to Formmula by now, with everyone going on at me! lol

silkcushion · 17/11/2007 11:58

pictures on profile at last!!!!!!!!!!!!

RGPargy · 17/11/2007 12:16

Morning all!

Just got back from taking DS to his H&S test. HE PASSED!!!!!!! No excuses for him to not get out there and full on look for work! Yippee!!! I took him for a celebratory McDonalds brunch (for him) and a hot choc (for me). My goodness, the bloke that served me was incredibly thick!! I wont go into details but i did wonder where he kept his brain cells!

Sparkly - It must be so frustrating for you. No advice i'm afraid, but it's amazing at how many people are telling you to put him onto formula!

Jarm - IT'S ALL A JOKE??!!!! Oh right.... ahem I'm even more determined to have my baby before you now! :P

Boyzone are reforming?? Good grief!! That bandwagon must be getting pretty crowded now, eh?!

Oh and yes, teenagers ARE bloody hard work!!

LOM - sorry the fajitas and vino didn't work for you. Hopefully a walk along Whitby seafront will do the job instead?

Easy - Congrats again on the arrival of Marnie - and what a weight!!! Wowsers!!

Silk - hurry up with those pics! I'm in need of some serious stalking!

Ooooo CONGRATS MUCKERS!!!!!! Yay!!! Another baby!!!! Looking forward to your birth story and pics too please!

So do you think it's ok to fill up the pool to like a third full of cold water so that when d-day arrives, all i have to do is add the hot? We can always pump the water out if it's been sat there for a week..... Anyone?

Yay, easywriter!

Congratulations to Muckers, too!

Loopy -- I think I'm heading for the 42 week club, too. Now at 41 weeks.

We did not wind up going out to dinner and film last night, because the dog needed a lot of watching . She had excessive bleeding after her operation, and needed to be kept quiet, which isn't something she's naturally inclined to. Also I think my brother was being a bit irresponsible by not taking her to the vet himself, and fobbing her off on the rest of us to take care of (his wife thought they should spend Friday night with her family, about a 2-3 hour trip away).

JARM · 17/11/2007 15:25

Loopy- I second RGP - DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

My turn next - must be.... im fat, fed up and in pain!

fiona76 · 17/11/2007 18:23

Sparkly- Ignore me if this is rubbish but I've just visited my friend who has 7 week old twins who were born at 31 weeks and she is also having some trouble putting weight on them. She has taken to mixing her breast milk with a bit of formula. They still breast feed some of the time and she expresses and mixes some of the time as well. I know nothing about nothing so if that is a bad idea just ignore.

I am now 40 + 2 and having fairly strong contractions but only about every hour. I also have lots of discharge (sorry TMI) is this normal??? Hopefully it means things are starting I think it definately different to the BH i've been getting for weeks now. This could go on for days yet though. Hope everyone has had good saturdays and is enjoying the lovely dancing.

sarahloumadam · 17/11/2007 18:36

Sarahlou rolls up her sleeves....

Well I'm due before both of you so calm down and wait your turn . Perhaps we could synchronise to avoid further squabbles. Sunday evening ok with you both?

Congrats new Choc, Easy and Muckers. Gorgeous photos Silk!

Can't type much due to numb hand but keeping up by lurking.

Have a good evening. x

StrangeTown · 17/11/2007 18:36

Congratulations Choc, MrsJ, Muckers, Easy, Silk. Beautiful babies! Great to hear all your birth stories, keep them coming. I had to go to delivery suite this week - it was a nightmare, so busy, lack of staff, women screaming (yes, really) so this thread is keeping me positive.

SGK - really hope you and Callum are able to get the BF sorted, you are really persevering.

Fiona - hope something happens tonight!

JARM - we are due on same date, but am fairly sure you will beat me to it as I had a scan on Tues and it wasn't engaged at all!

JARM · 17/11/2007 18:46

im hurting.... my back and bump are sore. not noticing any rhythm though but will keep you posted! Havent even told DH because he would be tenterhooks!

Think im going to go and lie down, they usually stop when i do that... plus i am SHATTERED so if this is the start of something, i need to rest! I only slept for 4.5hrs last night!

oooo Fiona!!! Sending you positive labour vibes your way!! Let's hope it is the start of something. I've heard that lots of discharge is normal. Fingers crossed for you!!

Sarah - Sunday night suits me just fine. DP is off to the pub tonight so i would rather not have to call him back! Nothing ever happens on a Sunday does it, so lets make it a baby night instead! "Oh yes it's babies night, and the feeling's right, oh yes it's babies night, oh what a night!" hehehe

Strange - Ugh, you poor thing. Deffo keep on this thread. It's been such a positive experience for me and i think everyone so it's just not even worth contemplating leaving us!!!

Jarm - Rest up lady! You're always buzzing around doing all sorts of marathons, no wonder you are achy. The only time i get a bit achy is when i walk round the supermarket or in fact, when i walk anywhere!! Dont think it means anything is going to happen for me tho. I think it just means i'm mega unfit!

oooo think i'm gonna watch some episodes of Desperate Housewives Series 4 tonight. I need to catch up with my downloads before baby comes!

Have a nice evening everyone, whatever you are doing!

Loopy - i really dont have the energy to jump on DP, much to his mega disappointment! He told me last night that he thinks i'm uber sexy when i'm pg. Great for when i need to jump on him, but not so great when i'm feeling knackered lol.
