Due April 2008 - new thread for October

Different places (and people) calculate weeks and days and due dates differently. Based on my LMP date two different medical professionals in the UK have given me two different due dates (one based on the wheel thingy, one based on the computer) but have me as the same number of weeks and days . I reckon the baby will turn up at some point...

EllieG - don´t know My LMP was 16th July & according to a book I´ve got my edd is 23 April. Midwife has wheelie thingy & she said 22nd. I suppose if she counted 1st week of pregnance from the 16th July then that is 15 weeks ... isn´t it? God I´m confused

That should read pregnancy obviously. The other Dr thinks I´m 13 weeks which I suppose is actually more accurate if you´re 14+5 Ellie.

Soph - I'm 16 July and was told 21 April and then when had a scan and we measured size it was 25 April and then the midwife put be abck on 21
I echo demonaid's feelings; it'll turn up sometime around those dates....

Soph im impressed youve managed to loose some weight, ive put my first stone on, but going by previous 2 pregnancies im 6 weeks behind on the weight gain so hopeful i may just be a hippo atthe end not an elephant

I managed to lose 5 pounds in the first trimester... god knows how as I ate tons of carbs and lay on the sofa like a beached whale for most of it .
Normally I look at food and gain weight...
Have finally got first scan tomorrow and starting to get nervous..

I'm 17 weeks (ish... see previous comments) and I've only gained 3.5lb so far. I'm pleased about that as I'm starting with a pretty high BMI and ideally don't want to gain huge amounts (wishful thinking, I know...)

Firstly the TMI bit - I think my right boob just 'leaked'. Is this normal? It wasn't huge amounts but enough to wet the inside of my jumper.

And I brought a Loola off ebay. It is the cream one. I got the pram and creatis car seat for £90 and it's in really good condition. I also impluse brought when I first found out when I was pregnant and brought a Bebe Everest (the three wheeler) for £21.

I have also put on 1 stone, 3lb's since finding out I was pregnant but I think the stone was from cake!!!

It doesn't happen to everyone, by a long chalk, but it's not unusual. And I think it's around 16 weeks that colostrum starts to be produced, so you're right on track from that point of view...

Thanks. I must admit is was such a shock I actually cried. I'm just hoping it doesn't happen again for the next 10 weeks.

I havent really put any weight on yet, if anything I think I have lost some, but I did have awful HG at the beginning and am only managing to keep down two small meals a day now. The maternity trousers I bought about a month ago are falling down when I go upstairs lol.

oh everybody i'm sorry to be such a worry wort but I don't think I've had any baby feelings in my tummy since yest morn. Is this normal?? I'm worrying myself silly!!! oooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh i hate these days!
I think my dad is pretty unwell at the moment too which is certainly not helping. come on me, think positive! please can u all send me pos vibes?!

ps. I've put on 9lbs

As most people cant feel movement yet i dont think it would be odd not to feel it everyday maybe baby has jus gone to the back a bit thus you cant feel them.

To date I have lost 8lbs but I am a big girl anyway and have started swimming three times a week just so didnt want to put on the same amount of weight as I did with Max (6 stone) I had put on two stone by now with Max!
