LOL lemonaid, know exactly how you feel!!

If it is gas, rather than just pregnant bulging, I used to find (pre-pg) that a small amount of whisky (or similar spirit, I guess) did wonders. Not sure of your personal opinion on alcohol in pg (or at 11am!) but it's worth considering....

What did you think of the Maclaren XLR?

TLSM - oh my word did you take out a second mortgage for that lot So for everyone buying a buggy which one did u rate the best?

I had a graco travel system for dd (5yrs) still using it for ds but havnt been able to collapse it down for about 4 years - lucklily have somewhere to store it - on the whole wouldnt recommend one. Have a little stroller in the car (just cheap mothercare one) for dashing around the shops again gone through 2 kids but is much hardier and easier to use but crap for longer walks.

Umm for a newborn I would say the M&P pramette because the baby faces you, you can add the car seat if you are in a hurry and baby is sleeping, it folds in one piece and it looks nice but not LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME

smcg oh I had that one from new too i had it for about 2 months ok mine started squeaking after a couple of weeks, also it was not very sterdy and lastly i am 5 10 and the handles were quite high for me! on the plus side its a larger seat than the standard maclaren and you get the foot boot the seat liner and head hug with it but you are paying a premium for them!

Hey Beeper, welcome to our thread, I added you on!
Wasn't sure if you wanted the m/c ectopic added to your details, so I have but can remove it, tis upto you.

I want a buggy type thing, without a car seat, and that doesnt have a million an don parts that I can have as a pram facing me for baby, then facing away for ickle toddler type thingy!

Any ideas?

Also I a 5'8'' and DP is 6'3'' so we need one that ahs a decent height on the handle, I find normal ones are a bit short for me, so goodness knows how he'll feel!!

Lorayn- the Loola has great extending handles so would suit you, you don't need the carry cot in relaity. Also there's one by i'coo- can't remember the one, but if you look in mothercare at the awful I'pod buggy, they do that without the speakers as well, and then it becomes a really nice easy to push about buggy. Several palces do it online.

Something seems to have gone a bit wrong here - my new scan date had gone and I think some of the newcomers have disappeared too. Have changed my stuff, but sorry, can't go through all the posts to check everyone else! So please have a look and update if you need/want to

oopsy daisy, that'll teach me for being lazy and not scrolling up

Have been to the midwife and I have lost 1kg - not quite sure how though She´s told me to take a couple of days off work & do nothing to try and shift my cold - I love her Could hear a faint heartbeat but beanie kept moving.

Midwife also said that I am 15 wks so can someone take me off the bottom of the list and update my next scan to 21 December. Thanks - my machine just won´t do it for some reason.

What date does that make you, Soph?

EDD - 22 April - I think I´m on the list under that date anyway and at the bottom

Forgot to say - midwife said that the bubble-like feeling is not the baby moving just the muscles stretching Still like to think it´s beanie having a jump around though On a completely different note I´m going to miss you lot next week while we´re off

I'm confused soph - how can you be 15 weeks and due 22nd April? I am 14 + 5 and am due 17th April. Am I being stupid?
