Have good weekends all x

Lorayn · 19/10/2007 18:03

Westerngirl, my heart goes out to you.

Denny185 · 19/10/2007 21:26

Western girl, v sorry to hear your news

lorisparkle · 20/10/2007 18:36

So sorry to hear the news westerngirl.

scorpio1 · 20/10/2007 20:21

So sorry westerngirl

It has been very quiet on here today! We went to see the outlaws (inlaws) today, to pick up dss. he is here for his half term so i have 3 kiddies to be looking after have felt baby a bit more recently, nice.

I have spotted the yummy mummy pink lining changing bags...dp is going to buy me one after xmas.

I picked up a bargain in morrisons this week, the steriliser i wanted was reduced to clear, £10 from £40, absolutely nothing wrong, just a to clear offer. v chuffed! Also bought a pack of nappies, we are going to buy either milk, bath stuff or nappies (one item a week) so when baby comes we have some stock in!

How has everyone been?

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 20/10/2007 21:40

Am so sorry to hear your news westerngirl I thought that as we had come this far we would all be ok!

Well this evening I have had pink discharge as sitting here in tears as this could mean the worst I am 13 weeks today and saw my little bud dancing around on Monday I as I know all of you would be will be devastated if this is it! I also have a low back ache so not good I am going to try and go to bed but its unlikely I will sleep and there is nothing I can do thats the horrid bit and all I can think about is that he/she was fine on Monday!

Denny185 · 21/10/2007 11:22

TLSM - i hope your night has been ok and symptoms have calmed down. Thinking of you

EllieG · 22/10/2007 09:08

Is everything OK tlsm?

scorpio - I am thinking of buying stuff too, but feels like tempting fate somehow.

My tummy is getting very round now - people keep thinking am much further on than am

ToastAddict · 22/10/2007 09:57

tlsm - hope everything is OK now?
Is it around the time you would have had your period? I have read that some women get bleeding around then....
Can you get a scan for reassurance?
Thinking of you {{{{hugs}}}}
xx

Soph73 · 22/10/2007 09:59

How are you tlsm?
Am sitting here in blind panic as have an appointment at 12 and I don´t feel pregnant today. Does that sound really stupid? Had loads of bubble-like sensations on Friday evening but nothing since really so am winding myself up.

Soph73 · 22/10/2007 10:00

A colleague gave me some bottles today. If everything is OK today may think about starting to buy stuff, but don´t want to jinx anything. Diversifying slightly what a bad weekend for sport! Although do think we played well.

ToastAddict · 22/10/2007 10:10

I know what you mean Soph - a couple of weeks ago my tummy popped out, so I felt hugely pregnant.
Now, nothing much seems to be happening - I'm sure it is just that any increase is quite small and not as dramatic as it was when I went from looking a little tubby to pregnant. And I'm really jealous of everyone who says they are feeling the little one - I haven't felt a thing Which I know is normal, but it's not fair!!

So tempted to get one of those listening devices, but think that may worry me even more if I can't hear anything.

Anyway, sure everything will be fine Soph - is it another scan?

lemonaid · 22/10/2007 10:19

Hello all! Rugby was good (shame about the result and some of the refereeing but it was a great atmosphere and we played well. Full of hope for the Six Nations and 2011 now...). And all the beer inside the stadium was alcohol-free -- a definite result for me!

I sympathise with all the panicing got a bit squished on the metro (although not as squished as I feared big advantage of looking about 6 months pregnant at 4 months is that I got first dibs on the seats a lot) and had a quick go with the doppler for reassurance this morning. Very relieved to pick up baby's heartbeat (I'd offer to lend it to you, TLSM, but you're three weeks or so behind me so at the point where you might very well not pick up a heartbeat anyway, which would make you more worried). How are you now -- any chance of getting in for an urgent appointment?

Best of luck for your appointment, Soph.

Hi - I have 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby - a boy and new to the Tunbridge wells area. Would love to hear from any other Mums due around Christmas or indeed any mums in the area.

lemonaid · 22/10/2007 10:28

vincent I think you'll have more luck on the December 2007 thread all of us on this one are due in April (or March or May ) and I don't think any of us are in Tunbridge Wells.

Or you could start a thread in the Meet-ups forum asking for other mums in Tunbridge Wells.

Best of luck!

Soph73 · 22/10/2007 10:46

I´m going to ask for another scan as (according to them) this will be the 12 wk one! I´d completely panic if I got one of those listening thingies then couldn´t hear anything, so know what you mean toastaddict. Well I´ll let you all know how it went Bye for now.

Piccalilli2 · 22/10/2007 11:18

TLSM - fingers crossed for you, I really hope it's not bad news. I don't know if it helps at all but I had some bright red bleeding early on and everything was fine - I think a bit of bleeding is more common than we might think.

Those of you who are working - when are you planning on going on maternity leave? I'm due April 7th so was planning to go on 14th March but now I'm wondering if that's too soon particularly as dd was over 2 wks late. I may go mad waiting at home for all that time again plus it's not exactly relaxing being at home with a toddler.

lemonaid · 22/10/2007 11:23

When I started out I was planning to go mid-March (due April 1 or April 4 depending on how they work it out). But now I am planning to start maternity leave at the start of March with a few days' built-up annual leave before that. DH is away 27 February to 17 March and I just don't think I'll manage with being heavily pregnant plus working plus a toddler. Since chimneysweeps aren't taking on apprentices any more the "working" aspect is the only one I can do something about. Plus I am already counting the days... every time something happens at work I mentally move my maternity leave start date up by a couple of days and it's very therapeutic.

OP posts:
ToastAddict · 22/10/2007 11:32

I was planning on finishing work about 4 weeks before I'm due. It seems to be a toss up between not still working when I'm absolutely knackered, and not going stir crazy at home.

If it's your first one (i.e. no other little ones to look after), what do you do all day once you've finished work??

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 22/10/2007 11:33

Hi All thank you for your support x

Well I Have had less and less pink stuff sorry if TMI and now it has stopped I went to see the Doctor this morning and am going to the EPU this afternoon for a scan everything crossed my little bud is OK still have a horrid back ache and some tummy cramps but will have to see.

TheMaskedPoster · 22/10/2007 11:38

fingers crossed TLSM, hope all is well
xx

Lorayn · 22/10/2007 11:43

Good Luck TLSM, FWIW, I have a few friends that bled during pregnancy, and it was all fine, hopefully will be the same for you.

Can someone else please tell me they are feeling as much movement as I am?? I am feeling tons, If I push on my belly slightly I can feel the outline of the baby and everythiing, I'm sure the last two times it wasnt this early.

DP thought he felt it before but laid on my stomach saturday and the baby rolled over, which he definitely felt, and cried (looks like i'm not the only one all emotional, at least I have hormones to blame!!)
