Soph73 · 18/10/2007 14:50

Don´t understand it it just won´t do it - hey ho!

PeachyFleshCrawlingWithBugs · 18/10/2007 16:03

If he's presribing stemetil, its mroe than morning sickness- do ahev a look at that website. Also, be aware that stemetil (was on that myself) completely knocks some poeple out- only way I could take my does was if DH called in sick as I couldnt raise myself from sofa to care for kids.

V1KK1M · 18/10/2007 16:45

Thanks Peachy. I have taken 1 and managed to keep down a soup, a tin of grapefruit and a few Ginger Nuts (not all together).

I decided that I am only going to take it again if sickness returns (as I think it has something to do with the cold not pregnancy). They are used as anti anxiety tablets so I don't want to use them unnecessarily.

Lorayn · 18/10/2007 16:46

I agree with Peachy, the first couple of times I mentioned my morning sickness I was told 'it'll go, it's just morning sickness' I wasnt prescribed anything until it became worse and my doctor agreed that it was HG. Poor you getting it now!
Mine comes and goes now, some days I'm worse than others and generally am sick at least twice a day, but thats nothing compared to what it was!!
I hope you feel better soon.

loisstella · 18/10/2007 16:52

guys - is anyone going to the "dreaded" baby show in Earls Court this weekend?
I've just told hubby (who is trying to gte out of it) so I can eductae myslef with strollers etc.
Might I see any of you there?

lemonaid · 18/10/2007 16:54

No -- I went when pregnant with DS, though. Get there REALLY early, so you can get in when it opens. It will be heaving within a couple of hours (which was the point at which I decided I'd had enough and gave up last time).

OP posts:
TheMaskedPoster · 18/10/2007 17:11

loistella - may 'see' you there .. however, we aren't getting there for opening so we will probabaly take one look at the heaving crowds and bail (go and see a movie instead!)

loisstella · 18/10/2007 17:16

I won't get there for opening either...church duty...
Will get there for 11 ish i hope and have already promised DH if he deos 2 hours with me there I'll treat him to see film... any - even an action flick!

TheMaskedPoster · 18/10/2007 17:24

lol - that sounds familiar!!

westerngirl · 18/10/2007 18:11

Mollyfloss · 19/10/2007 09:07

Westerngirl - I'm so so sorry to hear your sad news. I too had an ERPC in May after a missed miscarriage. I found out at almost week 12 and it is really tough especially for it to happen to you this late. Wishing you all the best for the future. Take care.

lemonaid · 19/10/2007 10:16

Really sorry, westerngirl. It all seems particularly unfair when you've got to this point.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, and enjoys rugby - especially lemonaid.
I'm hoping that next week I will spend much, much more time working, and much, much less time on MN.

Soph73 · 19/10/2007 14:03
