The last thread seems a bit full so I thought perhaps it is time to start a new one

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Congrats Bunjies and Tipex. Glad to hear all went well for you both.
I'm not sure what's going on. Last night I had contractions 25 mins apart and twice today I've had contractions 6 mins. apart for about an hour and then..nothing.. They're the real thing, I feel odd, sick, bad indigestion. Could this baby be imminent or could this go on for days!?

Nik72 · 17/02/2005 19:30

Congratulations bunjies - must have been that castor oil. Things really starting to move now for the Feb mums....!

LittleNemo · 18/02/2005 17:03

Congrat also to Bunjies and Tipex. Hope the rest of us aren't too far behind you

Angeliz · 18/02/2005 18:37

TIPEX, HUGE CONGRATULATIONS
(Posted on your birth thread too+++++++++++++++++++++)

One more night to hang on, (till dd's party, it's at 12 tomorrow), then baba is allowed out

REALLY hope it isn't tonight but after 2 pm tomorrow i'll start getting really excited about twinges! Have to admit to feeling a tiny bit nervous about the Birth now, niot really the pain, (though the memory is still there), more about it all going smoothly.
How many are we left??????/.

laa · 19/02/2005 15:39

Angeliz, hope the party went well and baby comes soon. Nothing here yet, except twinges and contractions aplenty. Hoping it comes before the snow. I have a v.v. rural one hour route to hospital..! Think we'll be calling an ambulance if it's v. snowy!

Angeliz · 19/02/2005 15:45

Thanks laa, poor you with that drive .
Hope the snow holds off for you!

It's snowing here but we are only 5 minutes away from the hospital luckily.
We had the party today, dd has just finished opening her pressies. Playing hungry hippos now with Daddy.
It was fantastic, went really well and she sat next to a little boy from her class who she adores and she even got a kiss from him and she was BEAMING!!! First love????.
I've told baba she's allowed out now, dp is telling me to go eat my pineapple!!!

Angeliz · 21/02/2005 16:04

sigh..................nothing yet.........anyone else?

Nik72 · 21/02/2005 17:36

Not a sausage. Is there anyone else left...has gone quiet!

Angeliz · 21/02/2005 21:30

There must ne Nik but i can't get my brain to work enogh to sort out the list

(and if one more family member rings me and says "well????????????", i'll scream!!

Nik72 · 21/02/2005 21:35

Yes, daily phone calls from family...keep telling them it could easily be another fortnight if I go overdue & get induced. My mum is up to stay now as DH on night shifts just in case something happens - she wants to teach me how to make marmalade!!!! Am boiling oranges as I type

Angeliz · 21/02/2005 22:12

LOL

Hope your marmalade turns out o.k.
Every time i breathe dp says,........"are you having a contraction"

Am tempted to keel over but not yet that cruel

Nik72 · 22/02/2005 17:01

Splattered the kitchen in boiling hot sticky orange mess - good fun but by the end you can see why people buy their bloody marmalade from a supermarket!!! Not sure if it's edible yet...
We're going to have to join the March thread at this rate.

emandbump · 23/02/2005 12:37

Hello Ladies - sorry to have been so quiet - computer conked out... and loads of babes seem to have arrived in the meantime! (typical!) Anyway - huge congratulations to all the feb bairns!! it's so exciting!
My due date is on Sunday and apart from a bit of period type pains - am having no twinges (baby isn't engaged either) so I am certain that he's going to make us wait for another fortnight! Am binging on raspberryleaf tea - yummy! Is there anyone else left?

Angeliz · 24/02/2005 13:00

Well i had a beautiful daughter on Tuesday morning!
Was fast and furious just like dd1. In at 8 a.m and the baby was born at 11.26 a.m! (Had to persuade midwife that i was really fast ).
Will try to do birth announcement but good luck to those left+++++++++++++++++

popsycal · 24/02/2005 13:04

Oh wow angeliz!!!!

congratulations!

Nik72 · 24/02/2005 13:29

Fantastic news Angeliz, congratulations! She was so well behaved to stay in until after the bithday party and then give you a nice short labour!!

emandbump · 24/02/2005 15:07

Congratulations Ageliz such a well behaved baby and what sounds like a dream of a short labour! fantastic.
Just been to see the midwife and baby still not engaged.. anyone else waiting? I'm sure I'm going to end up on the march thread!

bunjies · 26/02/2005 20:13

Many congrats Angeliz.

laa · 28/02/2005 21:15

Congrats. Angeliz. Another one to add tot he list. I had our baby daughter last Weds. Another fast birth - just 3.5 hours and she was delivered in the birthing pool. Weighs lots less than others at 8lbs6oz and we've called her Olivia Martha. She's gorgeous and very serene.

Nik72 · 01/03/2005 12:21

RIP Feb thread!!! I'm off to barge into the March one as baby shows no sign whatsoever of coming.

mckenzie · 01/03/2005 12:25

I think I'll join you Nik72. My first was early but this one must not like the cold weather I think.

Angeliz · 02/03/2005 10:32

Congratulations laa
Lovely name++++++++++++++

Where's your Birth announcement??

LittleNemo · 02/03/2005 16:43

Baby Jessica arrived on Mon 21st Feb after lengthy labour - they had 2 babies in the room next door to me in the time I was in!

Will post birth announcement.

Can't believe she's actually here

Hazellnut · 02/03/2005 19:53
