Congrats @sianyflewog wonderful news!
I think my legs are swelling a bit too. I tend to get a lot of water retention when pregnant. I'd usually go swimming every day to help but cant at the moment 😭😭😭 I hope I'll be able to go to the pool in august and September otherwise I'll end up with tree trunks instead of legs.
@ShiningStarz I stopped wearing things after my wedding 🤣🤣🤣 I love large comfy knickers. I always buy a size bigger, even when not pregnant. My poor husband hahaha!
@Sara7455 you seem well looked after, at least you know you are in the safest place for now. In case your baby does come early, asda has a great selection for preemie clothes and it's all in stock online and in store (I saw it the other day when I went in). But hopefully you wont need them and your baby will stay in the oven

sianyflewog · 15/06/2020 10:19

Thanks ladies 😁

Enjoy shopping @LatteLover12 - I love Mamas and Papas! I’ve spent the morning looking at nursery bedding, but in the set I want (from M&P) the curtains are sold out and I can’t seem to get them anywhere 😔

Roxy8203 · 15/06/2020 11:23

Just managed to book a 4d scan for the beginning of July. Looks like some clinic are taking bookings again if anyone was thinking of getting one

emma278 · 15/06/2020 12:30

@Roxy8203 ive booked one too! For the 28th June. I said i wouldnt but i got too tempted haha! X

Roxy8203 · 15/06/2020 13:23

It's not starting until July near me but my cousin was given a 4D scan when she went to have a scan at the hospital coz the dr wanted to play with the new machine and the pictures were great, so thought I'd book one too, at least the other half can come along

Lilice · 15/06/2020 18:11

I want to book one too. How many weeks will you be when you have yours @emma278 @Roxy8203

emma278 · 15/06/2020 18:27

Ill be 29.5 weeks. 🥰 @

Roxy8203 · 15/06/2020 18:31

@Lilice I'll be 31+3 so the end of the range but not able to go sooner as it's closed

Piper1879 · 15/06/2020 18:51

Just catching up with everyone !! I've ended up back in ABC today with reduced movements and protein in my urine , I was there for three hours but eventually was sent home , they've booked me an ultrasound tomorrow but have said it was likely he was hiding hence why I couldn't feel him. Pleased I went in the end , I sometimes feel a bother !

I had a 4d scan on Friday and saw him with his eyes open ! He looks like a little Benjamin Button all wrinkly 😂

Hoping to get some more things ordered , or brave a trip to town in a few weeks ! If the queues and manic isn't too bad !

@Piper1879 next have some good bargains online at the moment.

Well done for trusting your gut and getting checked out. Hope tomorrow's scan goes well

Lazydaisydaydream · 15/06/2020 21:10

How are you getting on @Sara7455?

Sara7455 · 16/06/2020 00:31

Hi all, the first of our “September babies” couldn’t wait any longer and was born By c-section yesterday afternoon at 28+6!
Obviously no longer team yellow as a result! My little boy, Wren, weighs in at just 1kg and is so mini but breathing by himself and in the best possible hands in the baby unit here

WillowT · 16/06/2020 06:11

Congratulations @Sara7455 and welcome to the world Wren! Lovely to hear he's breathing on his own. Hope you are doing ok xx

MooseWL · 16/06/2020 07:04

@sara7455 Congratulations on baby Wren 😍 hope you're both doing well great that he's breathing on his own, he'll get well looked after. Take care of yourself xx

Sep20baby · 16/06/2020 07:22

Congratulations @Sara7455 that’s great news He is doing well. How are you doing?
I never thought I’d be interested in the 4d scan but some are available in July privately and I am really tempted but haven’t booked yet. Seems like forever since I’ve seen her. I’m getting soooo hot and uncomfortable at the moment and still a long way to go!!

pangolin84 · 16/06/2020 07:51

Wow, congratulations @Sara7455! I love the name Wren 🥰 He just couldn’t wait for September! Are you able to visit him ok with the Covid restrictions? Hopefully won’t be too long before you can take him home x

Roxy8203 · 16/06/2020 08:00

@sara7455 wow congratulations, great to hear he's doing well

Sara7455 · 16/06/2020 08:03

Thank you ladies! Still early days but we’re both doing ok so far.
@pangolin84 luckily the hospital haven’t closed the door to parents visiting the neonatal unit so both mum and dad have 24hour visiting. It’s the sort of ward that has to be tightly infection controlled anyway so they were already set with masks and hand sanitiser etc. They like to keep them until they’d have been term at least so we’re looking at 8 weeks here minimum and seeing how he gets on but he’s in fantastic hands

Lazydaisydaydream · 16/06/2020 08:06

@sara7455 wow congratulations!! So pleased to hear he is doing OK, and he really is in the best place right now. Lovely name 😍

HugeAgeGap · 16/06/2020 08:29

@Sara7455 congratulations on baby Wren. So pleased to hear he's doing well so far. I hope you are recovering well as well. Great that you and OH have the 24hr access to him. Keep us updated on his progress xxx

LatteLover12 · 16/06/2020 09:00

Emmy2020 · 16/06/2020 10:57

@Sara7455 Wow! Huge congratulations on the birth of baby Wren! 🥰

ChipsAreLife · 16/06/2020 11:37

Oh my goodness @Sara7455 huge congratulations and Wren already sounds like a little fighter!

So pleased you can both go to see him, that makes a huge difference.

How are you feeling in yourself? X

Sara7455 · 16/06/2020 15:46

Thanks everyone. Definitely makes a difference having 24 hour access to him - although I currently need someone to take me in a wheelchair of course.

I’m doing ok - already guilty of over doing it less than 24 hours from my c-section and probably need to go easier on myself as those of you who had previous sections already warned me but BP is starting to improve so delivering him has helped as expected
