Inzi will be thinking of you hope everything goes well later, as everyone has said they are just taking best precautions for you and lo but must be so worrying for you and your DH.

ejt1764 · 28/09/2007 16:16

oh inzi ... that you came across your notes from last time - it's the last thing you need right now.

You're in my thoughts and prayers that all goes well.

MrsFish · 28/09/2007 16:18

Hi Greedy - I'm still here, feel absolutely exhausted this afternoon though, been trying to have a doze on the sofa but ds is not letting me have any of it, was hoping he would have a nap today seeing as he was at nursery this morning but no such luck. Lo is really moving around and combined with BH's I am feeling very uncomfortable atm.

HonorMatopoeia · 28/09/2007 16:20

Just glanced at the thread and seen Inzi's post.
Will be thinking of you this afternoon. So sorry that you're having to go through this. As everyone has said I'm sure it is just a precaution and the hospital is the best place to be. Take care and good luck. x

oh Inzi

hope everything is ok, what a shitty thing to have to read, especially when your already feeling worried and scared.

text me to let me know whats happening and big hugs x

i've been doing jigsaw all day, fed up of it now, should have had a nap as i'm tired now and going to see my step dad with dd, should be back on later

MrsFish · 28/09/2007 16:29

Big hugs Inzi xx

ChocolateHobnob · 28/09/2007 16:32

Inzi I've just seen this. I'm so sorry, sweetie, you could do without all this. But I agree with Alice: if they were that worried they would have sent you direct to hospital. So try to think positively, although I know it's really hard. We're all thinking of you and sending hugs across the ether.

And keep J20 posted.

Hey everyone - just popped on quickly and wanted to reassure those who are suddenly going to increased monitoring because of tail off in growth / reduced fetal movement.

I had the exact same towards the end of my pregnancy which had been trouble free til then, hence being delivered via elective cs at 37 weeks. Ryan is 3 weeks old today and we are doing fab! I know the extra monitoring is nerve racking - but the most important thing is to rest (baby will move more and grows better if you arent rushing around), and defo keep an eye on the fetal movement. I also kept full fat ice cold coke in the fridge to drink and that would often get LO moving if quiet to prevent me having to go to hospital.

J2OBABY · 28/09/2007 19:20

just a quickie, inzi is on her way home, trace was much better, she's having contractions but not strong enough to go to the labour ward.

i'm sure she'll be back on soon to let you all know

WinnieThePooh · 28/09/2007 19:29

Thanks for letting us know J2O. Glad to hear she is on her way home.

ChocolateHobnob · 28/09/2007 19:42

Yes thanks for letting us know, J20. I'm glad lo's trace was good this time.

Scary, this whole pregnancy thing...

just browsing the net for car seats

unicorn · 28/09/2007 20:50

phewwww.
big relief Inzi, now relax

Can I just ask a strange Pregnancy question... has anyone else developed fat feet?

Unfortunately I have chunky (short) legs anyway, but looking at them tonight my feet just seem to have merged into them...

Don't think it's swelling as such... but they do look fleshier..

thoughts?

unicorn · 28/09/2007 20:53

J20.. this looks a very good deal...

argos

J2OBABY · 28/09/2007 21:12

Thanks unicorn-i'm looking at the birth to 4 years ones, have got a baby one to go on my pram but want one to keep in car.

i've has swollen feet for a few weeks, can only wear flip flops!

orangecat · 28/09/2007 21:19

Only just went through all the messages - inzi SOOOOO glad all is well, was v worried for you.

Alice - thanks for advice on logistics, and do enjoy your mum being around ans those last precious full nights of sleep.

Not much to report from me - v lazy day, and did go back to bed this am. Just had a curry, and about to pop a raspberry leaf tea tablet...

MrsFish · 28/09/2007 21:28

Glad all is ok Inzi

All this talk of curries and pizza is making me hungry and jealous Not eaten tea as don't want to go to bed with heartburn. I have had two glasses of red wine though and am enjoying the rugby

ChocolateHobnob · 28/09/2007 21:44

Inzi, great news, I'm so glad! Hope the pizza did the trick.

Mrs Fish, is red wine a labour-inducer???

We had Chinese tonight, and it went down very well. Touch wood no heartburn for me this pregnancy yet! Tomorrow another 6 hour marathon NCT class and then people round for dinner - I'm going to make chicken and spinach curry and then chocolate brownies with raspberries and white choc sauce. I wish I could remember though not to plan things all the time - I could do with a rest, rather than a cooking and entertaining session. Never mind. I can rest on Sunday, though we need to buy stuff for that hospital bag - I'm scared by all the action on here and my utter unpreparedness!

Sleep well everyone.

alicet · 28/09/2007 21:59

Inzi ? really glad all is OK honey. Look after yourself.

Have just been for a lovelyu dinner out with dh while mum babysat - probably the last one for a while! Hope the rest of you have had good evenings - catch up tomorrow...

WinnieThePooh · 28/09/2007 23:07

I ordered our usual friday night pizza when DP called to say he was on his way home from Judo.

I managed to eat half of it, but I don't think the baby like =d it as I have just spent the last 10 minutes leaning over the toilet.

alicet · 29/09/2007 04:06

Choc - hope you enjoy the NCT class today. And dinner with your friends - food sounds gorgeous.

Winnie - sorry to hear you're feeling sick - hope better today.

Well I am insomniac again! Ds woke up at about 3am and although my mum got up I woke too and haven't been able to go back to sleep again. And despite eating like a pig this evening while out with dh (and lots of naughty things too - prawns and scallops, pink beef and tuna as well as a couple of glasses of wine!!) I was really hungry so got up to have my nightime staple of milk and biscuits. And MN of course! Hope the rest of you are sleeping like babies - although whoever invented that expression didn't meet ds1 in his first 12 weeks!

Adam didn't have his usual mammoth wriggling session last night and although he has moved a tiny bit since then its not anything like as much as normal. Think if thats still the case tomorrow lunchtime I might give the hospital a call. Sure its nothing (if he hadn't moved at all would have gone already) but can't be too cautious really can you?

Anyway - will stop wittering on! And try to go back to sleep in a bit.

ess · 29/09/2007 08:06

Morning all. I had bad nights sleep too. Neighbors were away and their son had a party. Music woke me at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep. Sent DH round there. Couldn't get back to sleep then. So annoying when you knowthese are the last few precious nights of sleep for a while! Hope you all have a good day.

MrsFish · 29/09/2007 08:33

Morning all

Well I thought it was going to kick of last night at just before 3am, I woke up feeling really sick briefly and then I had really intense period pain like pain, I was lying there thinking, don't start now, don't start now, my back up people are all busy, but then it went away and I have been ok since Got a headache this morning must have been that red wine I can't help wondering what time it will all kick off though, Sam started at 3am and last night I was thinking to myself that it would have been too freaky if this one had too

I am so excited and scared at the same time, its the NOT knowing when it will all kick off
