hi all, its all go while i'm away isn't it!

congrats mump!!!! what an eventful delivery! can't wait to see pics feel like crying reading about all these lo's {sob} i'm so hormonal.

i went to my mum's last night and sat in her local pub for a few hours and stayed over, her neighbours played music till 4am and had one song on repeat 8 effing times! but my mum and her dp didn't seem bothered, i wanted to kill them! and my mum kept snoring and waking me up, hence a lot of gentle pats to prod in the ribs from me, as i slept in her bed while her dp was on the couch.

so i'm quite tired today.

keep having more bits of a show i think? just jelly stuff and also i seemed to leak some water this morning, hence mother dearest making me sit on a towel just in case but not really getting any pains to speak of, don't really want to ring mw yet as they never have no staff on on a weekend.

also have retrieved my naughty kitty from the old house so hopefully can keep her in now

mrsf-sorry to hear about the stretchmarks, i seem to have got away with them so far, i'd be gutted if i found them now!

inzi-hope your ok, keep an eye on the BH's

choc and unicorn-make sure you rest as much as pos

FT-poor you still trapped in hospital, glad you've got a private room though

lisa-so glad you managed a vbac, hope your both ok, she sounds a little cutey

hi to everyone else, sorry to miss people out, need to have a nap i think, will catch up properly later

WinnieThePooh · 23/09/2007 14:56

OMG Another one! Congratulations Mump.

THis is meant to be DUE IN OCTOBER is it not.

I spent most of the morning in bed today as I was absolutely shattered. I had got up with DD as 8am but when DP came down at 9am I went back to bed. Finally got up at 11.35, when the phone woke me.

DP thinks my bump has dropped a bit more, so hopefully she wis a bit further engaged. My due date is 2 weeks today, but I think she may arrive early, hopefully not until next week though as DP has booked October off work.

I hope everyone is well and has a good Sunday.

alicet · 23/09/2007 15:57

Inzi ? sorry to hear you?ve been in pain honey. Hope all settles soon?

Missbumpy ? yep not easy to keep up unless you?re on here at least once a day! Summary of babies so far is below (big big sorry and grovelling if I?ve forgotten anyone!!!) can?t remember dates though!:

J20 ? good to hear you?re realising you need to rest lady!

Winnie ? good to hear you?ve been having some rest too ? frustrating when you still feel rubbish though isn?t it?!

Well I have finished off the cooking I wanted to do (apart from some mini pizzas for ds but not sure there is room in the freezer now anyway!!). MIL finally arrived after some confusion over her train and we?re heading out for a family meal in Pizza Express soon! Going for a drink first (shame the weather is so grim as sure ds would prefer the park to Wetherspoons even though they do have crayons!) but there you go? Hopefully be back later.

And the babies are:

Dal - Ryan
Kiansmum ? Chelsea
Monalisa ? Moran
Buffy - Scarlette
LES ? Zach
Lisa ? Jasmine
Mumpbump ? Joseph

Anyone started a postnatal thread yet? I?ve looked a couple of times and not seen it?.

muppetgirl · 23/09/2007 16:58

Hi all
CONGRATULATIONS MUMP!

You look away for ten seconds and another one is born!!!

Well, I went to an NCT sale yesterday with my friend -they are very argy bargy affairs aren't they?? You have to grab what you want, even if you may think you don't want it as someone else will grab it instead. I went for a bouncy chair and there were 2, both immaculate and £3!! But 2 women got there before me, same with the stair gate Oh well, got a couple of books for Ollie and a white cotton blanket. Went out for coffee with my friend and came home just as my brother had arrived from Canada! We all then went out for lunch and Ollie was flirting like mad with my brother's gf which was really funny to see. We had a lazy night and I had my worst nights sleep so far. Very achy period type aches and hurts under bump when I walk. Dh took Ollie swimming this morning whilst thew rest of us had a cooked breakfast at the gym. (We have no kitchen still so can't cook anything!!) Did some shopping in the outlet centre and then home to wacth the magic roundabout whildt dh cleaned up. We are off out to a nice restaurant tonight with my dad also (+ brother & girlie and his 2 friends) this is the first time we have used a babysitting service so are a little nervous about that but are also a little concerened about actually stating awake all night!!

Weighed my self today and are 11 stone 12lb so have put on 2-21/2 stone!!!! My body will never be the same again!!

Hope all are feeling a little beter
speak later

missbumpy · 23/09/2007 17:12

Wow! 7 babies already! That's pretty good going! Thanks for the update Alicet.

I'm due on 15th Oct but the baby's already quite engaged which makes me wonder if it's planning on coming early . Maybe just wishful thinking though.

alicet · 23/09/2007 18:45

Muppet - sounds like you've had a lovely day. Shame you are so tired but hope you still managed to enjoy it!

Missbumpy - can't remember if this lo is your first? If so I think they can engage a few weeks early so try not to get your hopes up too much! Very frustrating for you if lo arrives late!

We've just been for a lovely meal at pizza express - me, dh, ds and mil. Ds was really really good - sat in his high chair for over an hour without grizzling and ate loads of bits and pieces! His fave is their rustica tomatoes which are one of the nibbles - just inhaled them while pointing at the dish for 'more!' he is a big flirt too - there were another couple sat nearby and he was smiling away with his big brown eys and then went to say hello at the end! He is just lovely - feel like a very proud and lucky mummy tonight. I have found pregnany shite but have to say its worth it in spades for one of him!

j20baby · 23/09/2007 19:24

aww Alice, sounds like you had a lovely time, at ds

muppet-never been to one of them sales, but i can imagine, like when Asda out all of their reduced items on the stand and everyone races to get a bargain!

winnie-an early night in order?

nellieloula · 23/09/2007 19:29

Hi everyone- and congratulations Mump! What an amazing delivery! and lovely name.
mrs fish - sorry to hear about the back. hope you get a chance to rest up.
alice, glad you've had a lovely day - isn't it just delightful when they behave so well? makes you feel so glowing with pride.
big hello to everyone else and hope the pains and niggles aren't too bad......
floria - hope you're doing ok.

we've had friends staying over the weekend and it was great - they are very much the hands on types, not expected to be looked after and insisted on playing with DS this morning whilst DH and i lay in bed chatting (first time we've had a chance to do that in a very, very long time so that was brilliant) and then they took him out this afternoon so we could go to the cinema - I'll really miss that (we both work in film so not being able to go is really hard) - so all in all a great day.

our little issue at the moment is that DH may not be able to make it back for the birth if it comes before the section date. I'd been concentrating on the panic of not having any childcare - hadn't even occured to me that he may not make it. He's just so far away and if it was daytime traffic, it'd take at least 2/3 hours. But hey - that is just how it is and there's no point worrying about it til it happens - but he is getting so anxious and upset about the possibility of missing it. I've also asked him if it does all go to plan to see if he can take a few days before the section just so he has some time at home before the big day. He's doing 15 hour days at the moment, sometimes more (with 3 -4 hrs travelling each day) and is just so tired - so he'd really benefit from that time physically and mentally I think.

anyway - sorry about that spiel! Good to get these concerns off my chest though! As with everyone else, it will be what it will be!!

hope you all have a lovely evening and manage to have a good night's sleep.

HI wow whats happening!!! I'm due the 4th and though I would be an early bird as my previous 2 where early, but looks like I'll be last at this rate . Come on baby get a move on!!!!!!

CONGRATS to everyone. Talk about quick mump, I want quick, but that is a bit too much.

DH keeps telling me to get a move on, as if I have any say in the matter. Think I might start a thread for suggestions for those of us who are still here and have had enough.

j20baby · 23/09/2007 20:22

nellie-glad you had a nice weekend, how fab of your friends to be like that

inzi-hope your ok with them pains, sit down, mine seem to ease when i do.

jersey-good idea, link if you do.

i have a suspicion that i am leaking water, but still no pains, shall i ring mw in moring do we think?

jersey · 23/09/2007 20:32

I would J2O, when I thought I was I had to go in and get checked to be on the safe side. They told me they would rather you went in.

j20baby · 23/09/2007 20:39

thanks Jersey, i had to go in last time it happened at about 26 weeks, but it was all ok so it may just be increased cm, i'm not going tonight though, will ring when dd has gone to school in morning

lisad123 · 23/09/2007 20:42

congrats Mump, damn you beat me in times

MrsFish · 23/09/2007 20:56

Jersey, I'm due on the 30th Sept and feel like I am still going to be last of the Oct deliveries

Nellie - sounds like a nice weekend

Muppetgirl - I have put on 2stone 9 pound so far, thing is I started at 11st 5pound so think yourself lucky

alicet - sounds like a nice evening. I know what you mean about ds charming the ladies, my Sam is exactly the same. He has such a cute smile and with the blonde hair he is always getting lots of attention. {pics in profile of course )We are also blessed that we can take him to any restaurant and 99% of the time he is golden

Well my neck and back still really hurt, the paracetemols I have been taking all day haven't really touched it. I so hope I can get to see chiropractor tomorrow, am dreading trying to get any sleep tonight, as getting up from a lying down position is really painful I have tried relaxing today and spent much of it on the sofa watching TV, but even though dh has been home all day he has been working on the car in the garage, so have still had to sort Sam out

j20baby · 23/09/2007 20:59

mrsF-shout DH to come and sort ds out, you need your rest

i've put on between 2.5-3 stone, depending on who's scales i go on/

WinnieThePooh · 23/09/2007 21:08

Evening everyone,

I have had a nice relaxing bath and am off to watch Miss Marple in bed.

Have a good evening everyone.

ChocolateHobnob · 23/09/2007 21:18

Hi all

Alice, I can just imagine DS charming the other diners! He has the most gorgeous face!

Inzi, sorry about the pains but well done on DH for the toastie in the bath! I've never eaten in the bath either.

Nellie, I hope your DH can get time off to rest a bit. And good you're having a section so hopefully the issue of him getting back quickly as you go into labour won't come up!

Miss Bumpy, I'm due 31 Oct and babe has been partially engaged for over a month - midwife says it doesn't mean anything in 1st pregnancy. Shame...

Mrs F/Muppet, I am avoiding the scales!

Any news of ejt? Maybe she's our eighth!

Inlaws have gone now and I'm off to bed soon to get much-needed rest.

Hope you're all doing okayish tonight!

alicet · 23/09/2007 21:51

Nellie ? your friends sound like stars! Lovely to have a chance to a bit of time for yourself and dh especially when its will be in pretty short supply soon. Sorry to hear he?s having to work so hard too and all the extra anxieties associated with that. Hope all works out OK for you both.

Inzi ? keep your legs crossed at the weekend!!

J20 ? if you think you?re leaking water I would def call the mw.

Jersey ? great how everyone thinks you have ANY control at all over when your baby arrives isn?t it?!!!

MrsF ? its great that your Sam is so good in restaurants. My Sam is usually but lately has tended to get a bit stroppy when confined to his high chair so we take him to places where its not a big problems if he has a little wander! Determined to keep taking him as much as possible as I think that will make it easier for us as he grows up if he?s used to it.
Sorry you are still so uncomfy. Hope you get hold of your chiropractor tomorrow and they work their magic.

Choc ? hope you manage a good night?s sleep tonight! Sounds like a relatively successful visit from il?s?

Hello everyone else! Off to bed myself ? was flagging at about 8.30 then my sis called from NZ for almost an hour! Lovely chat but now feel much more awake! Still will have a bit of a lie in tomorrow as dh and mil are getting Sam up ? Result!!!! Off to post a pic of him in profile ? keep meaning to do it but forget!

alicet · 23/09/2007 22:00

Just posted very very cute pic of Sam (ds1) if anyone is interested (proud mummy alert!!) He is usually more smiley than this but still think its a gorgeous pic....

missbumpy · 23/09/2007 22:14
