I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

Hi everyone I have a friend who’s a gynaecologist doc and he recommended getting progesterone gel to use
Vaginally up to 8 weeks and vit d... anyone doing this? Been advised at appt?
I’ll prob get sent to EPU next week.

@Sipperskipper I was thinking of telling some really close friends for that reason. We are going to wait a bit before telling our parents.

It's crazy because at work I was ever the social butterfly so using the excuse of dry January to remove my self from conversations. Even more awkward when my birthdays is in January and everyone will want to go for a drink lol!

I feel crampy and tummy bloated and boobs still sore!

@botbird84 I was only just over 4 weeks when we found out and a couple of days later told my mum and two best friends (one who i work with) it helped with the worry and the anxiety. Once I’d told these people (they’re all close with each other too) it didn’t feel like so much of a secret and it really helped.
I was a bit worried and irrational at first with being shocked and just talking about it it with other people other than just my husband really helped.

@ShiningStarz I'm taking pregnancy vitamins and an extra folic acid with added vit D. Not heard anything about the progesterone gel though. May do some research, I'll do anything to make this pregnancy successful

@ShiningStarz oh my god yes! If I didn't know my dates I would think I was much further on as my belly feels so bloated. It's like our body goes through all the motions in the early parts. How are you relieving the cramps?

@Roxy8203 I just started the pregnacare pregnancy plus with the cod liver oil tablet. It has 10mg vit d as well as prescription folic acid. 👍😊

@tallulahhulah1 I’m using a hot wattle bottle but not directly on stomach, just between legs and back. I was fine this morning!! I get like this before AF so I’m just nervous.

I’ll not be telling anyone for ages yet!!!! If I get to next weekend, I’m meeting close friend and may tell her. She’s on the TTC journey too. Mother’s Day I’ll be 15 weeks 🤞🤞🤞 thinking I’ll break to my parents then in a card, plz plz plz stick little peanut ❤️

@ShiningStarz I'm not planning on telling anyone for a while, except my parents. I told my mum this week but only because if the worst happens again I'll need a shoulder to cry on. I told a few friends last time but they didn't really know how to react when it didn't stick so I won't be doing that again.
I've got everything crossed for us to have sticky babies xx

@hugeagegap how are you doing? I had something similar in my first pregnancy, it was implantation bleeding, mine was before my period was due but I believe it's more common to happen later. Hope you're okay.

Re symptoms I'm only just over 4 weeks but mine have been:
Tiredness
Sore boobs
Cramping
Touch of sickness once
Mood swings

But my biggest one is thirst!! I'm so bloody thirsty. Can't stop drinking, and I normally drink a lot of water but I'm even worse now. So now spend a lot of time on the loo too 😆

We have told my best friend and DH best friend and his DW who is a really good mate too as we were with them for NYE and it was a nice time to tell them. I would like to wait till my scan to tell everyone else as I really want my girls to know first but they'll blab it all over town 😅

@ChipsAreLife I've been as thirsty as a bloody fish too! I've never drank so much water also boobs have never been so sore either haha

Yes! I'm so thirsty too! I didn't make the connection until I read this thread just now. I a bit crampy too and I'm struggling to get to sleep at night. Either can't switch off or feel sick. I had horrendous sickness all the way through pregnancy with my first, that started at around this time but not much with dc2 so I'm not sure what to expect!

Thanks @ChipsAreLife AF is due today. Lasting time I was reeeeally thirsty, boobs really tender and then was sick for 2 months! Today absolutely no symptoms which is worrying me with the brown cm. last time I bled but it was later on and all was fine but it's annoying not knowing and just having to wait it out!

I've told parter but that's it so far. May tell best friend next week if start getting symptoms but bar that will try and keep it pretty discreet and tell family at first scan and then work etc at second scan at 20w. I managed that last time but this time might be to obvious by 20! Won't do anything OTT as some friends doing IVF etc and don't wanna be insensitive xx

How is everyone doing?
What are your symptoms so far? Any symptoms at all?
I'm 4+1 with a lot of cramping. Af was due yesterday. So I'm 1 day late fingers crossed. But no spotting at all so I'm happy.
I also felt very thirsty, nipples are very sore. Tired. Hungry all the time
I can't wait till 12 weeks. I have already told my DH and my family. And my sister is also pregnant and is 2 weeks ahead of me so it will be so fun to have company all the way. And I have told my very best friend. I know it might be too early but I couldn't hold it.
I haven't told my husbands family or work yet planing to do so at week 12 hopefully.

@Sunshinexx95 morning! I've been feeling alright, cramping and backache and feeling sick of a night. Main thing I'm struggling with is sitting comfortably. When I'm on the sofa it's fine as I can stretch out, but I'm trying to do lesson planning (back to school tomorrow :-/) and sitting upright in various positions is an issue! I keep having to get up and stretch which isn't ideal!

Haven't told family yet, rather tell them face to face which I'll probably do next week. Give us time to get used to it a bit more!
