I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

Find it hard to keep up on here, so would love to join, but probably in a few weeks if that’s OK? Pretty anxious and superstitious here.

To all those pregnant for the first time feeling anxious, you aren’t alone. I feel just as worried second time around!

Hi, can I tentatively join you? Have had a faint bfp today, hopefully it will get darker in the next few days. This will be baby 3 for us and we have been trying for over two years so pretty nervous that it is a sticky one!

Also feeling quite anxious as AF not due until Sunday but STUPIDLY we are doing our spare room and just lifted some reeeeally heavy flooring up two flights of stairs without thinking, what an idiot.

Actually I don't know! I've made the group private and you can't search for it so it's completely private but I'll change that for tonight so people can join! It's called September 2020 Babies. Let me know if anyone has trouble finding it

@TG2019 yes I'm the same. I know I have people that stalk me on Facebook!

Also wondering if it pings up to everyone on your friends list you've joined a Facebook group?! I've tried to lock my Facebook privacy as much as possible!

does anyone get stupid paranoid about everything they eat? so many scare stories. completely cut out caffeine, what's everyones experience of this?

@HugeAgeGap i think it does pop up when you join a group unfortunately. I will have friends calling me within minutes ha!

I've just checked from my husband's account and I can't see anywhere that I am in the group

I recommend the book "Expecting Better" by Emily Oster. It has evidence-based advice about caffeine, food, medicine etc in pregnancy. It's very thorough and reassuring.

How about changing the name for now?? We'll know what to search for but it wouldn't mean anything to anyone else?

Sorry everyone just caught up with these posts. I've changed the name of the group to September September for now - pretty inconspicuous! I'm happy to make the group completely hidden so that no one can search for it maybe from tomorrow so that gives everyone a chance to join? Also you can private message through the Mumsnet website just not the app.

Would anyone else like to be admin? Maybe myself and 2 others for now and if it gets bigger we could add more?
