BelliniButterfly · 29/12/2019 20:28

I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

Oh no I was hopeful it would go! Anyone else got raging hunger? Seriously ridiculous today. Had it earlier in the week but yesterday it seemed to have calmed down! today though...ravenous!

NameChange30 · 18/01/2020 14:17

Yes I'm both nauseous and ravenous, bad combo Sad

TG2019 · 18/01/2020 14:22

My nausea feels like a hangover, feel much better after eating!

ShiningStarz · 18/01/2020 15:47

Hi guys I don’t have any nausea!! Wish I felt something! Or maybe I don’t!! 🤣

Mcgootwo · 18/01/2020 16:06

Does any of u feel like a pressure in the bottom of ur abdomen or a kinda heavy kinda feeling or is it just me?? 🤔 I wonder what could it be?

Piper1879 · 18/01/2020 16:29

@mcgootwo I have a little pressure and pulling... had terrible back pain near kidneys all day but then slept horrendous and works chair is awful which doesn't help.

@TG2019 If I could describe this pregnancy then permanent hangover is it!!

@ShiningStarz I have slight nausea feeling but not been sick... Tango ice blasts have been helping!

I am like a hungry hippo but so conscious about eating too much, as I'm already overweight so terrified of too much food

TG2019 · 18/01/2020 17:12

@ShiningStarz Mine came
On between 6 and 7 weeks and had none before that. My boobs are also that sore I could ice them
I have felt sick almost constantly but not actually vomited, thankfully! 😅

Maybebaby2 · 18/01/2020 18:43

Need to vent just because I am in the worst mood ever. I feel horrid, my head hurts, my body hurts, my boobs hust and I keep knocking them... which I'm sure I don't normally do! I feel like I want to bite the head off anyone who comes near me! Just in a foul foul mood, is this a normal pregnancy symptom? Hope it passes quickly!

NameChange30 · 18/01/2020 20:03

maybebaby2
Solidarity to you. I was in a foul mood for most of my first pregnancy and I'm doing much the same in this one too! Growing a baby is a miracle yada yada but pregnancy also sucks!
My lower back has completely seized up today and I'm in loads of pain, god knows how I'm going to get through the next 7.5 months if this continues!
Anyway hope your mood lifts soon... if it doesn't it is most probably the hormones and a good sign (silver lining right?!)

Maybebaby2 · 18/01/2020 21:16

@NameChange30 thanks good to know I'm not alone but ugghh I was wanting to enjoy this one, hated both my other pregnancys but for different reasons. Was feeling fine up till today and then bam! Had a bad night with DD though so hopefully I'm just overtired, the headache is a killer though! And yes silver lining it must be pregnancy symptoms, yesterday I was saying I didn't feel pregnant at all so I guess its a good thing 😂
Hope your back eases up soon! Ohh the fun is definitely starting, what have we let ourselves in for 🙈

TG2019 · 18/01/2020 21:25

Does anyone find that google can just drive you insane?
I’ve been making fresh juices with ginger in the morning and it’s been sorting my sickness out. Also ginger beer on an evening. It really helps.
I googled for some recipe inspiration and it came up with ‘miscarriage risk attached to ginger’
Anyone feel like there is a warning about almost everything. It could drive you mad 🙃

NameChange30 · 18/01/2020 21:31

Damn Google!
Hmmm wonder if I should try ginger stuff...

Sunshinexx95 · 18/01/2020 22:01

@TG2019 hi girl
Yes I read something about ginger stuff too! I wanted to try but I am worried about miscarriage. I know that when I usually drink it I felt burning sensation when I peed ( sorry tmi). So that is why I keep myself away from it now I don't want to confuse myself with Uti symptoms .. I already got UTI that i am taking antibiotics for.

I am staying away from ginger and cinnamon too!

ShiningStarz · 18/01/2020 22:10

Thanks guys 😊
I had a tiny bit of brown when I wiped yesterday.
A tiny bit again when wiping this evening.
I hope it settles and fingers crossed it’s normal. My gp did say brown was normal..
Iv had a mmc before so I am nervous. 🤞
Anyone else had similar?!

HugeAgeGap · 19/01/2020 07:18

@ShiningStarz I've had some brown cm, more like milky brown, twice it's happened so far and then gone again. I counted back and realised it happened the day after we dtd so put it down to that.

I've been a bit radio silence as caught a cold then a bug and now gone straight into morning sickness. I actually just wanna curl up and die, I don't know how going to go to work and keep this secret. No one knows other then partner. I have a normal 9-5 office job part-time but it's gonna be so obvious something is up to my colleagues.

ShiningStarz · 19/01/2020 07:26

Thanks @HugeAgeGap. Woke up to a 5p size bit on pants (sorry tmi!). Also when wiped. Feel crampy too. Not sure whether to go to my local EPU, 6w 2d today.

NameChange30 · 19/01/2020 08:43

Oh shining sorry to hear it. Maybe you could call the EPU and see what they say?

I have everything crossed for you

ShiningStarz · 19/01/2020 08:46

Thanks @namechange30 I was thinking there’s nothing they can do anyway, I was told to
Only worry if it’s red. Trying to relax!! Lol easier said than done. I might give them a call x

ChipsAreLife · 19/01/2020 08:53

@ShiningStarz oh you poor thing. Try not to worry, give them a call. They're best place to reassure you or advise to come in. Got everything crossed for you.

I think I may have a UTI. Woke up with awful pain in my bladder like a had a bucket of urine in there. But only had a small amount. Am also full of cold and sore throat so a bit of a miserable Sunday!

ShiningStarz · 19/01/2020 09:04

Oh no you might need antibiotics ☹️ Iv had that full feeling too but my endometriosis i think causes that.

Wev decided to do nothing! What will be will be. Iv an early scanned booked for thurs so if the brown stays brown hopefully scan be ok.. if it turn to red I know I’m out. There’s nothing the epu could do at this early stage. They might scan but I’d still worry with the discharge! Thanks guys x

glasha87 · 19/01/2020 09:12

Hello everyone! New to mumsnet - it’s the best little place, the reassuring words are so needed at this time.

I’m due around September 9th - completely unplanned, myself and my partner are very much in a state of shock! But he’s very excited too.

I have an 11 year old who is also a September baby, and I haven’t a notion how I’ll tell her!
She loves being an only child and our bond is so strong, but she’s also fantastic with babies and little people - it could go either way! Her reaction is one of the primary concerns at the moment...

But! I seem to be full of worry! I forgot how much worry pregnancy triggers, as if we don’t have enough on our minds.

Just to echo everyone else, I’m getting twinges and slight cramps and feel otherwise like I’ve been run over by a bus! Grin Nipples may have to go too.

Only a few waves of morning sickness, something I did suffer from before - hopefully it stays away, that would be great!

Congratulations to all.

Dipsy77 · 19/01/2020 10:11

Hi all
Congratulations on BFPs
Just an idea something that we have done in our September 19 groups is to have a spreadsheet with everyone's names due dates scan dates and current symptoms also where abouts in the world we are, maybe something we can do once the group becomes more established ? X

HugeAgeGap · 19/01/2020 10:26

@glasha87 congrats! I have a ten year old who also likes being an only child! He was wanting to have a sibling a few years back but when we talked recently he said it seems a bi pointless now - oops. We also don't know how/when to break it to him! I ideally would like to wait until 20w scan but think he may notice before then, and don't want him to feel left out either!

HugeAgeGap · 19/01/2020 10:27

@ShiningStarz yeah I wouldn't worry to much while it stays brown, there's an increased cm now too so mixed together can look worse than actually is. If your getting scan anyway on Thursday, as difficult as it sounds I think u just need to hang tight until then as you say, you and they, can't actually do anything about it, it really is just a waiting game x

ShiningStarz · 19/01/2020 10:29

Thanks @HugeAgeGap xx
