BelliniButterfly · 29/12/2019 20:28

I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

@Watermelon2016 I'm not an admin. @Bellinibutterfly is the lady who has set up the Facebook page

Watermelon2016 · 14/01/2020 10:16

@Roxy8203 Thanks! One of the admins have said they've done it but not sure how it works from there as haven't had an email!
Appreciate your reply Smile

ChipsAreLife · 14/01/2020 18:36

Hello all!

How's everyone feeling?

@Kangaroo77 I've not used a doula and won't as 90% sure I'll be having a section! But I would def do it! Maybe post on another board and ask?

Every time I eat I feel uncomfortable and full and sick but no morning sickness. Had loads of cramps today and feel really blah. Work is pretty busy though so nice to have a distraction!

Got a groupon email for an early scan for £31! I'm bloody tempted now after saying I wouldn't .... it's a company called window the womb, anyone used them?

NameChange30 · 14/01/2020 18:38

Yes there was a discussion about window to the womb earlier in the thread. Recent mumsnet thread by someone who had an early scan with them and they said she had twins but she didn't! But apart from that I think the general reports were ok.

ChipsAreLife · 14/01/2020 18:46

Ahhh crikey!! Ok good to know, maybe I'll just put my patient girl pants on and wait to save myself the cold sweats of a false twin alarm!

ShiningStarz · 14/01/2020 19:22

Thanks @NameChange30 and @JMill13 😊

Maybebaby2 · 14/01/2020 21:18

@NameChange30 yep I agree, its the same as the 'it happens when you least expect it' cliche... but still, here we both are 😂

@Roxy8203 thanks, hopefully one of the admins will see this and add me if @Bellinibutterfly doesn't see my msg.

@Samk79 same I struggled to convince DH we should try again after DD, he's not too keen on the idea of even less sleep 😂

Babytrain89 · 14/01/2020 21:53

Hi everyone,
Got BFP and I am now 5+4. Super nervous as had an early miscarriage in November after TTC for 13 months. We were about to commence fertility testing. Conceived again in December which was a total shock. Ive had sore boobs on and off, stretchy type cramps, sickness kicked in this eve. Not really feeling the exhaustion as yet. Find that my tolerance levels are super low though. Due around 11th sept.
How are you all getting on? Anyone else anxious alot?

Roxy8203 · 14/01/2020 21:58

@Babytrain89 hello, congratulations.
Your journey sounds similar to mine. Had a MMC last July and had just started fertility test which didn't come back great so very shocked we actually got a positive again. It's stressful after a loss but just trying to stay positive

Maybebaby2 · 14/01/2020 21:59

Ok strange one here but I'm freaking out a little bit! Does anyone know what this might be or experienced it themselves?.... I was getting changed and my hand brushed across my stomach and I felt something odd, it's on both sides below my stomach on my abdomen. They are like large 'lumps' but more like swelling, they are on both sides and visible so not something that I'm pressing down to feel. So painless visible swelling on both sides of my abdomen. Anyone know what this could this be?

Babytrain89 · 14/01/2020 22:08

Hi @Roxy8203, it does sound similar! You're right just got to stay positive and its quite different this time around for me. Ah you got your results? Double congrats on your BFP by the sounds of it. We didnt get ours, we were told because we had got a positive that it was proof we could and so the clock reset as such!! Keeping everything crossed for sticky beans!

Roxy8203 · 14/01/2020 22:30

@Babytrain89 thanks. I'm 37 and my partner is in the forces so I told them I didn't have time to keep trying and then with him being away it would be even harder so we had some initial tests done. I used preseed last month for the first time and I guess it may be a coincidence but it worked

ShiningStarz · 15/01/2020 01:12

Congrats @Babytrain89 we have similar EDD. I’m 5w 5d today.
Similar loss to you last year and was beginning to think it wasn’t to be! Dec is a lucky month!!

Osney · 15/01/2020 04:52

@maybebaby2 I had similar last pregnancy- turned out it was fibroids. I'd call GP - I got same day scan to have it checked out.

Maybebaby2 · 15/01/2020 07:14

@Osney thank you, can I ask how far along you were when they found them and what they did, if anything? Or did they just keep a closer eye on you?

Osney · 15/01/2020 07:22

@maybebaby2
I was about 8-9 weeks I think. They did nothing during the pregnancy, but they caused me some complications-pain etc. But actually from re-Reading your post, I'm not sure it's the same. Are they soft or hard to touch? Mine were rock solid. Another thought - are you skinny? If so perhaps it's muscle gaps you're seeing - like how flesh can show between gaps your abdominal muscles as you get bigger? Regardless, I'd go to the GP if you're at all worried!

Maybebaby2 · 15/01/2020 08:04

@Osney they are soft and I wouldn't say I'm skinny, I would say I'm slim'ish but I'm bigger than I was in last pregnancy and I don't remember having the same thing then. I'll keep an eye on it an if I get even a twinge of pain I'll go and speak to someone. I'm just waiting on my 1st appointments with midwife so hopefully they'll come soon and I'll mention it them.

ShiningStarz · 15/01/2020 09:05

@Roxy8203 @Sunshinexx95 my other EDD buddies!
How are you guys feeling?
Today is 5w 5d for me! I feel fine. I’m just tired, fell asleep 8pm last night On sofa and woke at midnight 🙈 boobs less sore and feel fine 😩 I want to feel not fine!!!!

Mcgootwo · 15/01/2020 09:16

@Roxy8203 @Babytrain89 very similar story here, mmc early November then conceived again dec, 5+4 today and very anxiously awaiting letter for early scan. Hopefully we will all stick this time 😬☺️ Dec is a lucky month for us 🤣

Roxy8203 · 15/01/2020 09:32

@ShiningStarz I'm feeling rough today but I think that's because I'm on night this week and they ruin me. I'm hoping I feel better later after a good sleep, just got into bed. I'm 6+2 and just sore boobs. Feel bloated today and it was nice to undo my work trousers 🤣 but again that might be because of my shifts.

@Mcgootwo I've got everything crossed for December being lucky for everyone here. My due date is the 7th and it's a lucky number in my family, both my parents were born on the 7th (July and December) so it would be lovely to have an arrival on the 7th sept

Mcgootwo · 15/01/2020 09:47

@Roxy8203 aw that's would be lovely to add to the 7th's! My due date is 12th sept, I've just got sore/swollen boobs so far, that and being totally dosed with the cold 😷 🤒

ShiningStarz · 15/01/2020 09:49

Haha @Roxy8203 I look forward to unbuttoning too and putting my trackies on!!! 🤣
It’s not good and good your feeling a bit rough!! Have you mentioned to anyone in work yet? Your scan must be end of next week then? Xx

emma278 · 15/01/2020 09:49

My sore boobs have gone completely. 😩 so worried as that was my only symptom. 5W3d xx

ShiningStarz · 15/01/2020 10:00

Oh @emma278 I feel your pain. Are you going for early scan?
My partner & I have one booked at 6w 5d. I just need to see something to believe it’s real. He’s not keen as he said what will be will be and early scan won’t change anything.. I think I need it for my sanity!

Roxy8203 · 15/01/2020 10:00

@ShiningStarz no I think I'm going to speak to the midwife and see what she says and see if my symptoms get worse. I think if I get sickness I may have to tell them as I can't be puking on the train all day or night. Scan is next Saturday so still a week and a half to go.
I know what you mean about not wanting to feel normal but I also really don't want to get sickness, maybe just more tired would be ok
