September 2020?

I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

@emma278 thank you. Congrats to you too. I think not being able to speak to anyone other than your partner definitely makes the whole thing more crazy worrying. Don't get me wrong my partner has been amazing but there's only so much he can do never having experienced it before either. It just feels like I've imagined it all at the minute.

We haven't told anyone at all yet so just us 2 and this thread that knows for now but my mum was saying the other day that when she was pregnant with my brother over 40 years ago she had no idea until she was 28 weeks in and had gone to see a fertility doctor and then gave birth 7 weeks later. So I guess at least we feel something now this early on

@JMill13 it is so tough! We have cautiously told both parents just because we would also tell them if it didnt work out. And my oldest friend because, well, i tell her everything haha. Its just such an anxious time because we are all so aware of the risks these days xx

@emma278 hahah maybe that is a sign due on your anniversary? Who knows?? I've got everything crossed for you. I'm actually thinking about getting an early scan! Just to put my mind at ease.
I've told my best friend but we aren't telling anyone else yet because of what happened last time. It all feels a bit surreal at the moment. Xx

We're so excited to tell both sets of parents but decided to wait until after the first midwife appointment on the 16th. My friend knows I've missed a period so it's been really hard denying it to her face. Good luck with everything. Thanks for the reply. Other half now laughing at me cause I told him I posted on here hahah, thinks I'm crazy.

I also had a loss last year which was my first pregnancy so know how you feel bit am feeling positive this time. Just wish I had more symptoms

Be careful with cutting down on coffee, with ds I did it and ended up with terrible constipation and was forced to eat heaps of prunes as you can't take anything else while pregnant.

Congratulations @emmag2 that’s wonderful news and due date being your anniversary too. Couldn’t have planned that better!!! Although your romantic anniversary break might be replaced with birthday parties!!! 🤣

@botbird84 iv reduced my caffeine to 1 tea / coffee a day. Had a decaf coffee today and don’t know why I bothered!!! I love camomile and honey tea as well as peppermint anyway or even just hot water and fresh lemon. Good to know it doesn’t really Matter though!!

I miscarried at 5w 3D last year so I’m nervous too. Iv so much creamy discharge and sore boobs I’m hoping this time is successful! I’m 4w 2d now. Good luck for the next few weeks 🤞🤞

@JMi omg congrats!! Have you been to your gp yet? You’ll need an hcg and start getting your appts sorted!!

Iv been pretty cranky today. They come and go, for maybe 5 minutes I’ll get like Pre AF cramps and then it settles! Iv been to the loo about 15 times today!! I think it’s my knicker watching worry as opposed to the hormones! I’m so nervous, I’m phoning gp tomo and I reckon they’ll send to an EPU (age and previous mmc and I’m
On thyroid meds). Once I get that high hcg back I’ll feel more positive!

Anyone else had their hcg yet?

For those of you who have kids... for your first pregnancy is a 12/13 week bump noticeable? I’m doing bridesmaid for my friend and fingers crossed I’ll be 13 weeks at her wedding 🤞🤞

Hi! Joining in as I think my due date is 2nd September. I'm going to call the gp tomorrow (they don't do midwife self referral here) and have a few questions for her as I've had miscarriages in the past and my son was the result of fertility treatment... This pregnancy is a surprise! So I'm very excited but trying not to get ahead of myself.

This bit is so hard! When it's all you can think about but you can't talk to anyone about it! I know from my past miscarriages that I prefer not to have people know, so will definitely be trying to keep it quiet until after the 12 week scan.

Looking forward to the next eight months though!! I really enjoyed being pregnant last time so fingers crossed its the same this time round haha.

Me too!! Breast tenderness comes and goes and I get paranoid. I don't have any other symptoms apart from cramping. I am 4+1. How about u?

Hi @ShiningStarz I'm good thanks. Still not really got any symptoms other than a slightly tender boob. Hoping my body shows me something soon, I want it to realise there is something going. Might sound studio 😂

@Sunshinexx95 im exactly the same! Some mild cramping now and again. And a bit of tiredness. Thats it!!! Its making me so paranoid. Im officially due on tomo but got a positive from thurs when i was 10dpo and had slightly darker each day since and digital. But still paranoid!! Xx

Hi @Roxy8203 I’m feeling ok, still sore boobs and lots creamy discharge, hoping it’s all good news. Tummy has been crampy. I’ll be getting bloods tomo and hopefully know by Wed all is ok. I’m the same, totally paranoid!! Hugs x
