New thread for our July gang 😊

Shall we do a little reminder of who we all are so we can see who is on here - Age, current EDD and if we know our 12 week scan date?

I'll start:

31 - EDD 08/07 - 12 week scan 24/12

@Westiemummy81 oh i really hope it works, keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you!! Your friend is awesome :)

RedRobin7 · 18/12/2019 20:46

@Westiemummy81 How amazing, what a wonderful friend you have! Everything is crossed for you all 🤞🤞

So my DH is pissed off with me tonight. Just had my Asda delivery and I ordered two lots of milk to see me through Xmas. Desperate for a glass of milk as I ran out this morning. I always smell milk before I drink it. It had a funny smell so I opened the other one and same smell. It smells different. I won't risk it. He thinks I'm stupid and it's my hormones making my sense of smell weird. He's not home to smell it for me but he would just say it was fine anyway! Argh! First time I've felt really angry and stressed over something silly lol

@LisaxMarie yes I defo want to find out the sex! Are you wanting to know? Xxx

PixieN · 18/12/2019 20:52

That’s lovely @Westiemummy81 What an amazing friend 💕

We’re planning on telling most of our family on Xmas day as we have the 12 week scan soon x

1sttimemum20 · 18/12/2019 21:07

Hey ladies, so my worst fears came true, I have miscarried again 😥 have bled horrendously for the last 24 hours and been for a scan today and there was no sign of anything but bleeding (pretty sure I passed the fetus last night) my hormone levels are still showing at that of a pregnancy so will be back and forward from the hospital until they drop back to normal levels!
Wishing all you lovely ladies the best of luck with your pregnancies and thank you for the support over the last few weeks xx

squirrelnutkins1 · 18/12/2019 21:14

Wow what an AMAZING friend you have! @westiemummy81 sorry about your previous losses 💔

@RedRobin7 sorry about your pain. I've had pain on both sides. The midwife didn't seem that concerned but still booked me for EPU Friday. I keep telling myself it's stretching pains and hoping for the best 🙏🏻

@susie12345 are you going to ask your midwife about it?

squirrelnutkins1 · 18/12/2019 21:15

@1sttimemum20 oh my goodness you poor thing. I'm so so so sorry 💔💔💔 please give yourself time to grieve xxx

susie12345 · 18/12/2019 21:26

@squirrelnutkins1 hi sorry a bit confused, am i going to ask my midwife about the pain or the discharge? I will call her tomorrow about the discharge and might mention the pain but its not something i cant cope with so dont think she will be concerned. To be honest i have a feeling they dont seem concerned about anything at the moment anyway lol. I called the midwife advice line about my worries about the heart shaped uterus and was just told they wont do anything until im 28 weeks pregnant.

@1sttimemum20 im so so sorry :(' sorry for your loss :('

squirrelnutkins1 · 18/12/2019 21:34

@susie12345 I'd mention both to her. Let us know how you go 👍🏻

PixieN · 18/12/2019 21:35

RedRobin7 · 18/12/2019 21:50

@1sttimemum20 so sorry to hear that

StephS1984 · 18/12/2019 23:14

I have my booking appointment tomorrow morning and was wondering if they will look at my belly, so I’ll need to wear trousers and top, rather than a dress. As not sure if they will use a Doppler as I’m 10 weeks

LisaxMarie · 18/12/2019 23:20

@1sttimemum20 I am so sorry to hear of your loss. We are all here if you need to vent.

StephS they didn’t look at my tummy on my booking appointment. MW said they don’t start measuring etc until the 16W appointment

LisaxMarie · 18/12/2019 23:21

@Chelsea987 we agreed that we would keep it as a surprise but we’ve changed our minds because we are so impatient 😂

RedRobin7 · 19/12/2019 06:33

@StephS1984 Had mine yesterday - no examination or anything. Just bloods and a urine sample along with lots of questions!

Southy84 · 19/12/2019 06:52

Westiemummy your friend sounds incredible, such an amazing thing to do.

1sttimemum I am so so sorry to hear your sad news, sending virtual hugs.

For everyone who has appointments coming up hope they go well. Steph- I’ve not ever had the Doppler used at a first appointment x

Chelsea987 · 19/12/2019 07:13

@LisaxMarie haha we are the same! I have booked for a private early scan as an Xmas gift “for the hubby” on 27th December- so keen to see him/her and determine the dates. Xxx

showmewhatyougot · 19/12/2019 07:36

I'm also getting a lot of pains atm I've been told that it's probably just ligament stretching and normal.

I'm 10+5 today, and on day 4 of terrible nausea, nothing seems to help!

Hormones are also off the charts! OH tried to be nice last night and it backfired terribly. All I've fancied is fried chicken and Burger King, and have been heavily eying up and hinting at the new festive kfc burger! He said not to cook and he would bring home tasty treats! He bloody brought me McDonalds :| I cried over a bloody burger.

susie12345 · 19/12/2019 07:46

@showmewhatyougot sorry but that made me laugh :) Im sorry you didnt get that burger last night, i would be upset too :) x

showmewhatyougot · 19/12/2019 07:55

Thank you @susie12345 I knew you were my people and would get it!

Kiki275 · 19/12/2019 08:22

@Westiemummy81 how wonderful for you, she sound like the most amazing friend.

@PrincipalVernon I was the same except this time I feel awful every bedtime and will vom if I'm hungry (which is all the time).

@RedRobin7 come live with me. I'm a dairy farmers wife but don't really drink lots of milk. It's raw, organic and has the thick layer of cream on. Definitely if it smells funny don't drink it, return it to Asda and get some more, they're no quibble.

@1sttimemum20 so sorry to hear this. I can only imagine how you feel. Look after yourself xx

@LisaxMarie I'm team yellow 💛 all the way. The not knowing is both lovely and saves a fortune. I'm not a fan of pink & blue so had way more fun hunting out brightly coloured babygros etc that would work for either sex. My favourite was a green P.o.P one my MIL bought with bugs on it.

@StephS1984 my MW refused to use a Doppler until much later in the pregnancy as they can often give false reassurance and pick up the wrong heartbeat.x

@showmewhatyougot 😂 poor OH. You really should put a light-hearted AIBU thread up with that (YADNBU). To be fair I have never failed to be disappointed with McDs whereas KFC always hits the spot. We're having KFC for lunch in the office on Monday, cannot wait!!

Secondsop · 19/12/2019 11:18

@1sttimemum20 I’m so sorry. Take care of yourself over the coming days/weeks especially. Hope you are feeling ok in the circs.
