Hi ladies, how is everyone? Had my 4d scan yesterday, his legs are still up over his head but we got to see him sucking his bottom lip lol. Huge feet like his dad they're already 5. 6cm. I've attached a pic x

@Jesskir89 so cute!! Did you see a lot of details?

I had my 4d scan today but he was facing my back so booked in for next weekend. I did get a teddy bear with a recording of his heart beat though so that's something

@whiskersonkittenss that was a rescan for me too as his legs were fully blocking his head last week where as this week he was just kicking himself with 1 foot haha. We didn't get to see as much as others due to his position but got a few looks and could see he has my dh nose :) @dinosauraddict good luck today please let me know how you get on, I'm there tomorrow x

@Jesskir89 aww what a cutie you've got 😍. We went for ours yesterday and she wasn't in a great position and kept puttin her hand up to her face so we've got a rescan on the 2nd Jan. we still got 3 or 4 nice pics though x

@daniX91 thank you and the same happened to us. They're buggers aren't they lol. Hopefully you'll get a better view next week :)

@Jesskir89 Ah that's lovely ☺️, happy you got pictures for yourself. It's not just you were having trouble with this one but it went OK with the 4d.

I had to go back twice for 20 weeks scan as he/she was hiding but so far we cannot get baby on doppler! Only way mw knew baby was OK was because baby was booting her and the doppler 😂 x

@Jesskir89 they certainly are little buggers haha. I'm sure she was laughing at us! We saw her sticking her tongue out then they caught this picture in HD and it looks like she's smirking!

@Jesskir89 sorry you've ended up with it too - but we've been through this whole journey together, we can manage this too. I have to do the blood test 6 times a day, once before every meal, and once an hour after each meal. Got the machine and everything - it's more advanced than I expected, connects to my phone via Bluetooth to store all my results in an app! I need to be between 4-5.3 pre-food and under 7.8 after food.

Has everybody had their 28 week bloods?
I've just had a call from the midwife to say I'm anaemic, iron is 102, apparently under 110 is considered anaemic. Off to pick up iron from the doctors in the morning. Has anyone else had similar results?

@MockingJay27 I had mine on Thursday but hope there is no call touch wood.. I did although have to have tablets after I gave birth to DS and my god.. All I can say is beware on the toilet front, they make you super constipated 😳

@misspepper8 thank you and oh gosh they do worry us don't they lol. @daniX91 that'd do cute! At least you got to see her and she sounds like she's got a right character already :) @ttc19 brilliant news! @dinosauraddict thank you and we will get through it. And wow 6 times a day! I go and get mine tomorrow. Has anyone mentioned to you about possibly being induced early? X

@MockingJay27 I had mine at 27 weeks and was also anemic with levels at 97. I’ve been on iron tablets for a week now and feeling much better!

No problem @MockingJay27! I had low blood pressure too and, combined with the anemia, felt really dizzy one morning. But now just taking two iron tablets a day, one in morning and one in the afternoon. Helps to take it with orange juice and also I'm trying to eat some more fortified cereal, spinach, and red meat (I rarely eat meat). Anemia can make you feel absolutely terrible when it's severe, so definitely take those iron tablets and you will notice a difference within a few days! I don't find they make me any more constipated than normal, but some people do.

@Jesskir89 @DaniX91 beautiful scan photos, congrats!! I found the 4d video to be both amazing and also a bit frightening. Hard to believe there are no more scans now until the growth scan at 36 weeks :/. I guess they can't see much though after around this time.

@sadtoday21 thank you :) I've got 5 more scans booked in between now and my due date lol its due to being high risk. How far gone are you now?

@sadtoday21 aww thankyou ☺️ do u have a photo to share? I love seeing them! You're a day ahead of me aren't u, due March 12th? I don't get a growth scan at 36 weeks, must be due to area x

Just to say these 4D scans look amazing! I'm low risk mid wife led so I don't get any more scans after my 20 week one (unless there's a problem), seems such a long time to go before I see him again 😊

Anyone else's baby kick them in the ribs to tell them to lay on the other side? Mines very demanding 😂

Don't think I have a growth scan, it hasn't been booked anyway. I had one with DS as I had a query with my heart. I haven't even seen a consultant, I just see my thyroid Dr.

Well we're ill for Xmas, DS has a raging fever.. Nursery said hand foot and mouth going round and my neice has it. Hoping he doesn't get worse :(

@Jesskir89 that's comforting to have some more growth scans, good that they are keeping a watchful eye on you! I honestly don't know whether I will have anymore between now (I'm 28+5) and the NHS one at 36 weeks. It seems like a long gap to me, but not sure a private scan will be very good at 30+ weeks anyway. How are you feeling these days?

@DaniX91 yes, due on 12 March! How are you finding the third trimester so far? Any new symptoms? We got some photos, but they are not very clear and have to go back as baby was covering his face!

@MissPepper8 sorry to hear you are sick, hope you feel better soon!

@sadtoday21 it is a big gap but if all is healthy that's all that matters :) I'm not too bad apart from having GD and Group B strep lol how are you? @misspepper8 hope you're all better soon. Merry Christmas everyone xx

Merry Christmas all! :) can't believe we have all made it this far along in the year! It's lovely :) o hope iv all had a lovely rest and great time.
I'm 30+3 and iv had lower back ache all day. Iv been resting but it doesn't seem to easing up. Has anyone else bee. Suffering with this? Xxxx
