Has anyone starting thinking about baby showers yet? I am really weird for wanting to plan my own?... 😂 x

@maria94 My sister has mentioned about mine, I didn't have one for DS. Tbh I've said to them I'd be quite happy to have a girl spa day being spoiled as I'm not into food right now 🤢

I had my scan all looks ok, I just wondered what happened, can amniotic fluid refill? I'm really puzzled, I know sure as hell I never weed myself (no smell or colour ect) but they were more concerned on growth and baby is just a tiny little bit below the average growth line so very happy.

They wanted to keep me in as I've got high level ketones, I can't do that so I promised to try eat. I do feel rough and shakey but I've got so much to do tomorrow I can't be hospitalised.

@maria94 my mum and friend have part planned mine lol I've told them location (home) and are doing the food though, 1st Feb. @misspepper8 glad everything's OK hope you feel better soon x

@MissPepper8 oh a spa day sounds nice.. be much needed no doubt! Glad your scan went ok! X

@maria94 Thank you xx Yeah, I fancy a manicure ect and a swim would be nice when you're achey. I don't think we'd do it until February (I'm due 18th March).

My sister is on the case for an afternoon tea kinda party deal but I'm so weird with food right now, I'd prefer to do a pamper day with optional food 😂 x

@misspepper8 what exactly happened I must have missed your post and what do they think it was x

@Jesskir89 That's ok xx About 2 weeks ago now (shows my NHS is in very poor). I was changing DS bum on my knees and I had a gush of fluid. I thought I'd bled, ran up stairs, changed and flushed my pad (bloody stupid) and then it dawned on me it could of been waters.

They checked me but couldn't see leak and sent me on my way for scan this week.

But I was frightened because at 37 plus weeks with DS, I had the same thing happen. They told me I weed myself as they couldn't see anything and no more leaks but I had a growth scan the following week and it showed I had lost fluid so they induced me.

I dunno its made me nervous but everything is ok x

@misspepper8 I remember your post now wow they are slow! Can't you get a second opinion for peace of mind x

Hey, how is everyone getting on? I'm 26 weeks today. For the most part been fine. I have had some muscular pain around ribs where they think they're inflamed from everything pushing up and my right sided kidney isn't draining properly either however but apparently pretty common things.

Have a surprise baby shower so looking forward to that. Currently have mat leave date at 38 weeks but even though I can wfh I'm starting to think that maybe a bit optimistic?!

@Jesskir89 I did read last night amniotic fluid can top up (so to speak lol) if you keep on top of being hydrated so I'm just trying my best to sip water, so if it looks OK for now I'm happy.

My NHS is poor.. They've had alot of antenatal deaths so it's very strained right now. I wish I didn't have to go there, but the midwife I saw that night was outstanding so Fx it doesn't happen again xx

@inneedofanotherholiday welcome back :) When's your baby shower? @misspepper8 I'm defo guilty of not drinking enough. I had my gtt today results back tomorrow x

@Jesskir89 I've got my GTT in the morning 😑 I feel like I've been panic drinking this evening incase I get thirsty ha ha x

@ttc19 I'm sure you're allowed to drink plain water before the test. I had mine last week.

@whiskersonkittenss All I dreamt about last night was drinking 🤣 I'm worried if a glass even touches my lips I'll guzzle a pint down ha ha, yeah it says you can have small sips x

@Jesskir89 and @ttc19 how did you find your GTTs? Had mine Wednesday and got a phone call at 7pm last night to tell me I have GD. Got to go in this afternoon to get blood finger prick machine etc. Not what I wanted the week before Christmas!

@Jesskir89 Ah is that a glucose test ? Fx for you it comes back normal.
I've not had one but I had my 28week appointment yesterday, couldn't get blood and took ages as they want to measure you ect.

@Dinosauraddict Sorry you've got all the added stress lovely, but they're easy to use my DH use to work for a company who had them. It's shitty before Christmas though so I feel for you x

@Jesskir89 @Dinosauraddict The rest was ok. I feel a bit rough now though. I haven't heard back so I expect I'll hear on Monday. At least if I do have it I've got you ladies to ask questions

@ttc19 I don't know anything til Tuesday I'm affraid not even sure what I should be eating etc til then it's ridiculous tbh. We can't all be unlucky so fingers crossed for you x

@Jesskir89 Ah no, Im sorry lovely, don't let it bring your Christmas down x I think it's a case of changing carbs so brown bread, pasta, rice. Just watching your sugar intake too x
