@maria94 we are still here.... how is this happening lol! Today Iv had lots of tightenings and lower back sharp pains. More then ever! I just want to wake up tonight and it all kick off!! Can't believe we will be 40 weeks in two days bloomin eck! No!!! Xxxxxx

@2ndtimemuma yes I'm with you!!! I'm 39+4 and I'm just over this ! Every single night I got to bed all prepared to go to hospital at any time... and nothing!! Ahhhh x

@barnyb we're almost there!! Suddenly it's feels like it's all gone extremely quickly😳 I've been getting lots of pains and tightenings too... loosing a lot of mucus as well! Surly it can't be much longer. Got 2 sweeps booked in for next week so this time next week fingers crossed I'll have my baby ahhhh!! I've tried every trick in the book to induce labour lol running out of ideas now Xx

@maria94 yes me too! Iv given up on all the tricks! I’m still using my ball every day though! Midwife said non of the tricks will work unless it’s the right time ! Ahh thy doesn’t help us though does it 😱 lol. Yes this might be the last Friday night we have without our baby :) I hope so ! Also if baby is born tomorrow they will have the leap year bday ! Ooooo!
Yes my sweep is Thursday too xxxx

@2ndtimemuma they haven't said much tbh just that I'll be given antibiotics in labour and baby will be monitored after x

@barnyb and @maria94 my sweep is next Wednesday at 40 + 1. Gosh I really hope we all get our little ones before sweeps. Leap year babies would be cool. Eternally young!

Last time with my little boy, I had a really painful sweep. It made my induction very hard as I was so bruised so really hoping I don’t go that far.

@2ndtimemuma oh really! This is my first baby so it’s all very new to me! I hope we all get what we are wishing for soon :) I wonder if anyone will have their little babe tomorrow 🥰
Last night I was awake at 2am and didn’t get back to sleep until my husbands alarm went off around 7am! Sleep is pretty rough at the moment and I’m gutted because I know it’s not going to get any better once baby girl is here! But yes I hope we all get a good sleep tonight xxx

Definitely in some sort of slow labour here, yesterday had on/off contractions and pain all day, lost a bit of plug. Worse than day before so I guess that's a positive?

Finding it really frustrating and painful, as my back is in agonny constantly too. Labour wards told me to just stay comfy at home. Atleast if I have a sweep next week it'll speed me up (hopefully I won't get to it 😂).

@MissPepper8 I've been feeling the exact same things! I am sure I keep getting the odd contractions but then they stop.. this is my first baby so I have no idea if it's even contractions I'm feeling! Fingers crossed for us both it'll turn into the real deal soon 🤞🏼

@maria94 I pray you're quicker than me lol xxx I'm it feels like a nasty sharp sensation up the sides of your bump and pain goes into in your back. It builds from the bottom and you can feel the womb tightening of you put your hand on.

It's not like braxtons (ironically in the between I'm having them, they more take your breath away and just feel like your stomach is going to burst).

These are unbearable with the pain, my stomach last night was so hard and sore I had to goto bed. Its making me sad lol, I just want it to stop start/stopping. Last night I had 4 hours of it after walking but today just feels tight and period crampy.

@MissPepper8 they sound very similar to what I'm feeling too! My back is where it hurts the most, it's a combination of a sharp stabbing pain/cramp and tightness. Definitely different to Braxton hicks. I hope this doesn't go on for days!! I get my hopes up every time I get one and then they disappear!! Going to try lots of walking today and pray that does something Xx

@maria94 Definitely ring labour ward, they can advise you what to do. She's told me what to look out for ect.

My back hurts right now, just got pain and soreness to my sides. I wish I could walk, it's horrible here with storm weather so I've just been on my ball and going to supermarkets lol x

Iv been really heavy and aching all over my lower back today. And my belly feels different like I'm about to come on my period. Very tired too!
I'm going out for a walk in a bit and see if anything happens. I think it's not long now .....

@MissPepper8 @barnyb only a couple of 'contractions' today so far.. instead I've developed this constant pain in my lower back that won't go no matter what I do. Every position I move to it still hurts😫 feels like someone is poking a sharp stick on it! could this be a sign or just an annoying back ache?!

@maria94 have you been having lightening crotch? Because the last couple days it’s now the lightening feeling down my lower back instead. After this morning I had a warm bath and went to the beach for a very windy walk. Iv come home and all my symptoms seem to have disappeared! Story of my life. How are you now? Xxx

@barnyb how typical and annoying!! I have had some lightening crotch but this pain is different. Maybe she has moved further down and is pushing on a nerve into my back I'm not sure! Bloody painful though. Not even a hot water bottle is helping! Xx

I had reflexology this morning which was amazing. Now bouncing on my ball to try to get things moving. 🤞🏻

Sounds like some of you will have your babies very soon. I cleaned the house for a couple of hours this morning and it seems to have triggered some really bad lighting crotch. Can't change position without sharp pain. Really hope at my 38 week appointment on Wednesday I'll be told baby is engaging x

Sounds like we are all getting somewhere for sure! I’m moving house in a months time (worst time ever) so we’ve been in the shed and utility room starting some of the packing and iv had to come in now because the back ache is back and baby is moving a lot which is actually uncomfortable. Going to get back on my ball in a bit too! Xxx

@Jesskir89 Yes we're finally home, feels so good to be back!

Seem to be feeling the same as the rest of you. Bad back ache, occasional contractions that keep stoppping, and haven't slept for two nights now... thing is, it's my third baby but don't remember feeling like this by my others. It's really really frustrating and wearing both me and DH out, trying to keep going but without knowing if things will suddenly change. I am 39 weeks on Sunday, no sweep arranged - my next midwife app is after my due date at 40 +4 because midwife is away. I am really hoping not to get to that appointment...

Glad I'm not alone with slow labour. I felt like something wasn't right with all this stop/starting. Been a bit tiring and emotional. I lost some plug again today and bled pink a tiny bit. My back freaking kills from it. I didn't have this with my DS at all, some of these contractions feel horrendous :(, like cutting/burning all in my lower back and sides.

I'm praying Monday consultant suggests something like sweep that day cause Im not positive with me going tomorrow.

@MissPepper8 I know exactly how you feel. I genuinely thought it was it last night and even got my mum ready on standby to come sit with my toddler. I’m absolutely full of cold too so everytime I cough I feel like my contractions get even worse. The not knowing and stop starting it’s so frustrating. How has everybody else’s night been? Any progress?

We now officially will have March babies!

I had an interesting night last night! Went to the toilet to find a clear liquid had leaked right through to my pad, through my underwear and through my jeans! Thought it was my waters! Went to get checked and the midwife said she couldn't see any evidence of my waters going so she doesn't know what it is. Very frustrating. Still loosing some now. Anyone else had this?! X
