Late July Due Date

Anyone else just got their BFP? After 15 months of trying I have finally got mine, I am so excited but terrified of the long nine months ahead. Will definitely be going for an early scan in December for some reassurance!

Facebook or WhatsApp works for me, I also forget regularly to check in here so would keep on top of it more with either of the other methods,

Have most of us had our nhs 12 weeks dating scan already? Mines in Thursday and as I'm due on 30th July I'm guessing most people are a little ahead of me.

@Vickiduduu I haven't had my official first scan, I opted to have an early scan (10 weeks). I'm 12 weeks and have the midwife on Thursday, so hopefully get my actual scan ASAP!

A group sounds great, I often forget to check in here for a few days!
Had my scan today, everything looked as it should and NT measurement was 1.7mm. So lovely to see the little bean again and definitely much more human like!! Due date put as 22nd July 😁

I had my nhs scan on Friday and due date is 21st July. I thought I’d be able to relax and enjoy the pregnancy after the 12 week mark but I am back to feeling anxious again 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have to repeat my NIPT blood test as there wasn't enough fetal DNA to test, apparently this can happen while on blood thinners. I have to wait 3 weeks to do the blood draw again so I'll be 16wks when I get the results. I'm totally gutted as I won't be able to enjoy this until after the results (if they are good). I'll still be doing the NHS combined screening but I have a MC history so really worried having to wait so long.

@missdrifter I don’t think we’re going to find out! At times I get so tempted but I’m trying to stay strong - I think the surprise would be so nice after the wait! Are you planning to find out? I got my date for the 20 week scan today too - 10th March which feels really soon even though it isn’t really!
@LillyLeaf that’s such a shame they’ve had to repeat your tests, hopefully they’ll come back pronto. Try not to let it ruin this time, the chances are quite small that anything would be wrong that wouldn’t be showing on the nhs scan by now - I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.

@LillyLeaf I'm feeling the same. I can't believe just how anxious I am. It's really taking the shine off being pregnant. I'm desperately hoping all is well and then maybe I can relax a little. Sorry you've got to have a repeat xx

The nausea has been horrendous over the weekend and this morning I nearly called in sick. I went to bed for 2 hours after work as well. I've had awful awful trapped painful wind too. Ah the joys.

One of my friends has found out and for another pregnancy didn't. She said it was absolutely amazing being handed the baby onto your chest and then seeing if it's a boy or girl. The way she described it made me want to wait to find out..... but we'll see lol.

@squirrelnutkins1 I didn't find out, which saved me a fortune as I wasn't tempted to buy stereotypical pinks or blues (really dislike them in large quantities) but by the time DS was hauled out, I was so off my t*ts on painkillers and exhaustion, he could have been a 6 legged goat and I'd have still said "oh lovely" 😂 x

Had my 12 wk scan yesterday - DH couldn't go in the end because of his shingles anyway. EDD is now 23rd July I think I will go over though.

Baby was super active and wiggly, looks just like a really tiny person now not just a blob!

No concerns flagged just waiting on my screening results to come back.

The bloods for my chicken pox immunity came back as I just have natural immunity so don't need to worry about that either.

Still feeling incredibly sick and tired though I WFH with flexible hours and I just spent this morning asleep on the sofa rather than working.

We are having a surprise in regards to it's sex but I think it might be a boy based on nothing at all. Thoughts and guesses welcome

So at my 12 week scan appointment tomorrow I've got a consultant led appointment too. What happens at the consultant/nurse led appointment? Is it where do you want to give birth type questions? I'm starting to freak out! 23 hours to go 😳

@squirrelnutkins1 we have a wee WhatsApp group that's just been set up - questions galore in there! Normal to be nervous - it will be nothing to worry about. Can't comment as I've not had my 12 week scan yet!

I'll join the WhatsApp group if my scan on Friday goes ok. Anyone not really feeling much 'activity' in your stomach/uterus? I feel the odd thing but thought I would feel more. Getting very scared for my scan.

@LillyLeaf I'm the same. I just feel unwell and that's worrying me 🙁 I'm off today and have cleaned the whole house and had a shower and felt awful like I'd been working all day after. Just been out to run some errands and feel totally wiped out. Got two appointments this afternoon then think I'll just go to bed. I feel so lazy but I just can't manage doing a lot.
I've had loads of twinges, aches and trapped wind. Xx

@squirrelnutkins1 I have my scan tomorrow and also consultant led, I'm freaking out a bit too. Having a scan and bloods/screening but that's all I know. I'm being consultant led because my thyroid is over active.
