Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@HL123 Squeee! So exciting! Smile
@bubblesqueek same, I think it's normal for pregnancy symptoms to come and go, especially at around 11 weeks when the placenta takes over, so don't worry. I keep reminding myself also that the chance are overwhelmingly more likely that all is well.

MRSRCH · 09/12/2019 21:35

Is anyone alse experiencing pains at the bottom of their belly, like sharp pains. It's normally when I get up or stretch out. I did phone the midwife and they said it's probably ligament stretching pains but I'm panicking. I have my scan Thursday but getting so impatient

UKtoSK · 09/12/2019 22:17

Hi, I’m new to this board although I’ve been lurking for weeks. I’m 11+3 today. Had the NT scan on Saturday and was measuring 11+2 which was a huge relief because we had some scares at the start with a subchorionic hematoma spotting. Both me and my husband are finally starting to feel this is real now, now that it actually looks like a baby.

@MRSRCH it won’t let me tag you properly but I came on here today wondering if anyone else had been having those kind of pains too. If I bend over I get a sort of sharp pain but I also keep having twinges near my left hip but sort of low down. I had it a couple of times before my scan but forgot to mention it because I was so nervous and then so relieved. But everything looked ok at mine. Good luck with your scan!

Thank you @LassoOfTruth, Iv woke up feeling major sick and sore boobs again I just worry when I eases off. A was never worried this much with my first, I was only 20 tho so yah were just pregnant and had it never really read in to all the bad stuff, must be my age ha. X

Piecrust32 · 10/12/2019 12:36

Eventful weekend for me 🙈 started bleeding but it eased off had epu scan today

I’ve been put back two weeks as baby measuring 9weeks , two babies are there but sadly only one has a heartbeat

Hope everyone is well, it’s lovely seeing the scan photos coming up I’ve got another scan in two weeks x

bubblesqueek · 10/12/2019 14:00

@Piecrust32 ohh that's a erm tricky one, hope your feeling as well as can be, and hopefully everything will be fine with little bean when you go back xx

Magpiefeather · 10/12/2019 18:37

Oh gosh @Piecrust32 that’s a lot to take in all in one go. Hope you are ok and good to hear the bleeding has eased up. Glad they are giving you another scan in two weeks!

I’m feeling ok, sickness mostly better except the other day without warning I threw up while driving, in the dark, on my own, on a busy 50mph country road where I couldn’t stop. It was grim. I have a sick bag I keep in the car so I grabbed that and thought I’d done ok but it wasn’t a, erm, clean catch. Felt properly rubbish after that, threw up again while cleaning up the sick when I got home and wet myself in the process. So yes, am glowing Grin. On the plus side all the bloat has subsided and I’m sleeping better!

Also we completed on our house - hooray!! On with the renovations now and getting excited that the third bedroom will have a new little person living in it Smile

Have a feeling this is a boy but we shall see if I’m right later on eh! Anyone else have a gut feeling?

bubblesqueek · 10/12/2019 19:42

@Magpiefeather that sounds like a good day, sick twice and weeing yah self ha. I normally wee myself whilst being sick. So glamorous haha.

How exciting about the house!! I have a feeling mines another girl. I'm debating an early gender scan but partner is saying just wait till 20. He's so laid back haha x

PassTheWater · 10/12/2019 20:30

@MRSRCH Yes I’ve had pains in my lower tummy these past two days! (I’m 12 weeks tomorrow) Funnily enough I told my husband on the way to the gym yesterday that I thought I was having growing pains- in the gym, I bent forward to do a gentle stretch and did something to my back 🤦🏻‍♀️ Off to the physio tomorrow. I’m told the relaxin in the body might have something to do with this.

Glad to hear most people in similar situations as myself with easing morning sickness, tummy pains etc. (Except @Magpiefeather- sorry, I can’t join you on throwing up in the car but I’m so sorry, I did laugh out loud!)!

I actually went and did the harmony test last week as I knew that no matter what the results of the scan, even if low risk by nhs standards, if wouldn’t have been enough for me. Everything is looking good (we found out we’re having a girl!) and yet I’m still convinced that my scan on Friday is going to give me bad news. Too much forum reading!! Must learn to relax!

LassoOfTruth · 10/12/2019 21:47

Scan today went well. I was feeling pretty anxious and the 45 minute wait didn't help - but there is definitely a little wriggly bean in there, so lovely to finally see! I'm going to try to relax a bit now, and eat my veggies like a good girl Grin

marmitecheesetoast · 11/12/2019 09:48

Oh gosh @Magpiefeather poor you that sounds grim! I am still being sick every single morning here, beginning to think there’s no point eating breakfast! Still having nausea for most of the day too Sad

Congrats on completing on the house too!

@Piecrust32 that is a lot to take in, hope you’re ok and your next scan date comes round quick for you.

Congrats on the scan @LassoOfTruth must be such a relief!

Is anyone else planning on having a surprise? I had a surprise last time and so think I probably will again this time, as it really helped keep me going through being two weeks overdue and an incredibly long labour! Although equally I am tempted to find out this time for the logistic reasons of knowing whether to keep all my DDs clothes I’ve been shoving in the loft for the last 2 years as she’s grown out of them! Grin

12 week scan tomorrow. Feeling anxious but also excited to hopefully see little bean again.

Magpiefeather · 11/12/2019 12:15

@marmitecheesetoast I had a surprise last time too and would again this time but DH is really keen to find out, I wasn’t all that bothered either way so we’ve decided to find out for precisely the reason you say - this will be our last child so if it’s a boy we can get rid of all DDs clothes etc that we’ve saved (although a lot would work for a boy too). But I totally get what you mean it’s quite nice not knowing too.

Sorry you’re also still sick Sad it’s so crap isn’t it. I keep thinking it’s going away and then it ramps up again. Sick twice this morning .

@bubblesqueek yep I usually wet myself every time I’m sick too. I’ve taken to sitting on the loo and being sick into a bowl if I can get there in time!!!

@PassTheWater glad to hear harmony test was all good, that must be a relief.

@LassoOfTruth how exciting! Glad all was good at the scan!

Good luck for your scan @marmitecheesetoast

I’ve still got to wait til next Thursday for mine, feels like an age away!!

bubblesqueek · 11/12/2019 12:35

We've got a scan at 7pm tonight.. feels like the day is dragging xx

Cornishbumpkin · 11/12/2019 14:18

Finally had my '12 week' scan today. Thought I was 12+1 but actually 13+2 😁 due date now 15th June. Nausea is a lot better so hopefully can start enjoying pregnancy. Hope everyone is well

Due end of June/start of July 2020
bubblesqueek · 11/12/2019 15:40

@Cornishbumpkin ahh that's brill, and good news about the sickness xx

marmitecheesetoast · 12/12/2019 13:20

12 week scan this morning, all looking good as far as they can tell at this stage! Just waiting for screening results to come back now. As soon as you get past one worry it’s on to the next hey! Dates were pretty much what I thought, just moved by a few days to 11+4 today, EDD 28th June. Been sick 3 times today so far and my toddler got up for the day at 4.30am SadEnvy

Magpiefeather · 12/12/2019 13:51

Great news @marmitecheesetoast !

About the scan not the sickness and definitely not the 4.30am bit Sad hopefully a long afternoon nap will be needed by the little tinker after such an early start!!

Did they say how long your screening results would take?

I was supposed to have 3 hours to myself this afternoon but my toddler got sent home from nursery ill. Gah best laid plans and all that! Never mind, duvet day Smile

marmitecheesetoast · 12/12/2019 13:55

Oh no @Magpiefeather that’s a shame! Hope they feel better soon!

Sadly said little tinker has long ago given up any illusions of ever napping! 😭 we’re having a lazy afternoon though, just watching the Snowman! Feel so bloody sick though fed up of this now.

MRSRCH · 12/12/2019 18:07

I had my scan today and they've said baby is measuring a week behind so I'm only 11 weeks but I'm so confused. I had a positive test on the 20th october and a digital positive on the 23rd october. I have another scan next Friday but I'm in panic mode thinking something just isn't right. My periods weren't very regular as only had two periods after coming off my pill so wouldn't know my cycles exact. Does this all sound normal?

StrawberryGoo · 12/12/2019 18:31

That’s rubbish that you’re measuring behind - I don’t know the answer medically and I suppose it could be a concern - but I’ve measured a week ahead and I know my dates because I chart, so I think it isn’t an exact science and is hopefully nothing to worry about Flowers

mrssunshinexxx · 14/12/2019 08:03

Hi ladies sorry I've been quiet on here lately had my 12 week scan on Wednesday it was amazing anyone good at nub theory feel free to have a guess.

Due 20th June
13 weeks today

Due end of June/start of July 2020
PassTheWater · 15/12/2019 07:53

Hi all- I had my 12 week scan on Friday and thankfully all looked fine. For anybody anxious in the lead up to it, I hear you! Baby was not playing the game at all and kept turning away from the camera 🙄 Our scan picture sadly resembles very little of a baby 😂 All in all very happy though.
Has anyone booked NCT classes yet? I’m based in London and they seem to book up quickly so I think I may do it sooner rather than later

Smiffette · 15/12/2019 09:28

@PassTheWater I booked NCT classes about 6 weeks ago for the same reason! Due 8th June!

I'm in Somerset, and they get booked up just as quick here.

14+6

BabyBird20 · 15/12/2019 10:23

@Smiffette I'm in Bristol and need to get on that! When did you book them for? I'm trying to work out what dates to go for!

Smiffette · 15/12/2019 10:26

@BabyBird20 I just choose the sessions that my due date fell in, so I think my sessions are running through March / April time from memory. I choose Taunton ones as that's closest to me, about 8 miles away.
